More and more jobs require education beyond high school. With a two-or-four college education, your child will have more jobs from which to choose. On average a person who goes to college earns more than a person who does not. I plan to go to college because I want to get a good job. Another reason why I want to go to college is to expand my education and earn good money. College is right for me.

With America growing at the rate it is, it is very important to grow with it. College is the best way to prepare someone to be out in the workforce and survive. Going to college is not essential for success, but it will give someone the extra skills that will help them in their career and in life. College helps people get a good job, prepares them for adult life, and will help them make more money.
The most common reason people want to continue their education in college is with the goal that a degree will propel you towards a better career. Though that may be true, I have many other reasons for my desire to continue my education. High school attempts to prepare you for college with limited exposure to many subjects; however, college allows you the opportunity to focus on areas of study you have a passion for, and allows you to continue developing that passion. I found through my high school experience I enjoy learning about entrepreneurship and the Chinese language and culture. I am extremely eager to attend college in order to delve further into those subjects and have a much better understanding of each area of study.

Through college you learn many skills that will help you in your career. One reason I want to go to college is that more jobs are available after completing college. Many employers look for a college diploma on a résumé when hiring. I want my future job to interest me and this will help. With more options I can get a job that pays good and interests me. When I was in my junior year of high school my dad have talk to me on what college I wanted to attend. At first I was bit skeptical where I wanted to go, however I had a passion to become an air pilot, so I chose to attend Middle Georgia State. When I looked at the cost to just attend one year of school I had to figure out how I was going to pay to attend because one thing I knew for sure was that my parents were not going to pay much for it. So as my junior and senior year was going by I was applying to all these big scholarships like the Coca Cola, Dell, and even Burger King it all landed to me with losing both years. In the middle of senior year I decided to apply for local organizations but still have not obtain a scholarship of any sort.
My philosophy is, those who to choose to go to college and earn a degree are the strongest of people. Everyone should know that college is difficult, time consuming, and expensive but they should also know how beneficial going to school can really be. Although what I said is true, some people would disagree, and that is totally fine. At first I didn’t think college was for me, but I’m glad I made the right decision like so many other people.
All throughout high school, I have been employed and worked hard for my money. I have worked at a grocery store, pool, and a country club. I have not worked hard because my parents cannot afford to support me, but I have worked so my parents do not have to. There is pride in the fact that the clothes I wear and the gas I put in my car are paid for with the money I have earned.
The pursual of higher level learning has always been of great importance to me as an individual, growing up I have always been the child to strive for the highest marks and often taking pride in my academic accomplishments. In my senior year University has emerged as definitive path on which I wish to follow, entering University acts as a stepping stone in the goal of becoming a leader in society. University serves a special importance to me for many reasons such as: Being the first member of my family to gain admittance into University,Pursuing a higher degree of competition in the sport of football at a NCAA level as well as gaining a degree in Kinesiology in order to achieve my goal of physiotherapy. These reasons along with many more account for my desire and excitement of becoming a student at Simon Fraser University In British Columbia.
