According to USA.gov, “it costs an estimated $113 billion for 13 million illegal aliens and their U.S. born children in federal, state and local governments.”(www.USA.gov). Finding ways to reduce the increasing amount of costs per year, an idea that was placed into action that that would create and implement a law, which would restrict these programs only to the person whom has the legal status within the country and excluding the rule to those who remain illegal, this included illegal step-parents and parents of their U.S. citizen child. Another important way in which the rise of more illegal immigrants adds another burden to the economy is through the judicial system. Their jobs are to sneak in illegal immigrants to their designated country. This job, although extremely illegal typically pays well and is performed by specialists who know there way around the land and police locations. The risky drawback that goes with this choice is that very little supplies are taken and scarcely used to avoid slowing down traveling to the U.S. as quickly and safely as possible. This ultimately puts the body at the endurance mode with very little to eat or drink which is why a high amount of immigrants never reach the other side alive. Every year crimes are committed in property damage, lawsuits, deaths, containment in prison, court fees and sometimes more than one at the same time depending the situation. If it isn’t enough in the federal register posted on its annual budgeting data for immigrant inmates in correctional centers and prisons; “The fee to cover the average cost of incarceration for federal prisoners in the year 2012-2013 was roughly $28,893.40. The average annual cost to confine an inmate in a Community Corrections Center was $26,163.” (www.federalregister.gov). This data shows promise to increase in expenses in the future which could eventually cause hundreds of millions to the U.S. and tax payers for immigrants mistakes, and ongoing illegal activities. What is still surprising about these number of crimes followed by the statistics overall on money spent to house and care for these immigrants while they’re incarcerated leads to the bigger question as to why they still remain here and aren’t transported back to their home country, or at least serve jail time there. These economic burdens continue to put a dent in the budget we have in order to sustain immigrant convicts within the U.S. and in most cases prisoners are only deported in severe cases that include homicide or massive quantities drug
