Today I would like to address the impact of social media on society for those of you that are social media users and this includes the advantages or disadvantages that as associated with it. In this speech, I want to relate to you how social media is being used by social media users. Social media has forever changed the way society works, whether it’s the sharing of an idea, the communication of news, or the availability of products or services. Society today is on the verge of a new way of existing that it’s never experienced before in history. Sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, FriendFeed and many others, allow people to share ideas on not just news, but also on products and services. In this speech I will talk about what social media is, the evolving nature of social media on society, I will talk about the advantages and disadvantages that social media has on society.
