It has been a while since you had to rely on a console to play a high-tech game. Nowadays, you can find incredible games that can work on smartphones and tablets pretty well. Of course, they won’t come with all the graphics and your device won’t have the same capacity to process complex adventures, but it doesn’t mean that you won’t get hook up and have lots of fun.
And Hollywood knows how hard we fall for our movies and have used games to promote their films and to keep monetizing them years after their release. And if you are one of those who loves to play games based on movies, here are five of them that you need to try on your mobile device.
1. Minions Paradise

The Declaration of Independence drafted by Thomas Jefferson and adopted by the Second Continental Congress expresses the thirteen American colonies desire to disjoin from Great Britain. Chapter 4 of “After the Fact,” entitled Declaring Independence, presents factual viewpoints of historians as well as thorough examinations aroused from the possible confusions of the renowned document.
After reading Dave Barry’s essay entitled “Independence Day” I can tell Dave has a caustic tone about this holiday. One of the reasons I believe that he has this tone is when he was talking about the menu for the evening. He said for the traditional menu you would have “hamburgers so undercooked that when people try to eat them, they leap off the plate and frolic on the lawn like otters.” Another place that Dave was sarcastic is when he stated that our grandparents generation time spent on cranking homemade ice cream was the cause of The Great Depression. Also, I would say that the essay has a whimsical tone to it as well. My favorite part of the essay was “The Star Spangled Banner” that Dave wrote, “And the grill parts’ red glare; Flaming
The British colonies of North America took their beginnings in the early part of the sixteen hundreds. At that time Virginia and New England became the first regions to be settled by the English. It was the birth of America as a whole, but it also was the beginnings of two distinct ways of life. The colonies were founded on Independence, but from the start there were two completely different ideas of what that Independence was and what it would mean over time.
Decades after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the United States continued to deal with European encroachment on their territory. A group of young congressmen, known as the War Hawks, were land hungry and favored war with Britain in hopes of true liberation and independence. Add filler here using Cochran ref. In the year 1799, a man named William Henry Harrison was elected Delegate to represent the land North-West of Ohio in Congress (Brief Sketch, 10). During Harrison’s term as Delegate, the state of Indiana formed from the territory he represented and was appointed Governor of Indiana. In order to continue westward expansion and attract settlers, President Jefferson encouraged Harrison to extract land treaties from numerous
Patriot day is considered the deadliest day in history for NYC firefighters because of the 343 that were killed (history.com). September 11, 2001 was an extremely tragic day for the United States. In particular, it was an extremely tragic day for New York City & Washington, D.C. On this Tuesday morning, at 8:45 a.m., the Unites States was attacked by terrorists. The terrorists hijacked four airplanes in mid-flight. They flew two of the planes into the twin towers at the World Trade Center in New York City (scholastic.com). The terrorists were 19 militants that were associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda, led by Osama bin Laden, from Saudi Arabia that carried out suicide attacks against targets in the U.S. A third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a Pennsylvania field (history.com). Officials believe the terrorists on that plane intended on destroying either the White House or the U.S. Capitol. Some of the passengers on that plane fought the terrorists and
If I had been living in the English colonies at the time of the Second Continental Congress, I would have been willing to support the Declaration of Independence in July, 1776 because the people of the United States of America had been putting up with an inoperable government, the King of Britain, King George the third wanted to take all the power away from the people and would not listen to our leaders. The colonists, had to pay unfair taxes, and the King was a cruel, unfair man.
In the Declaration of Independence it states that all men and woman are created equal. Although that some may consider the ideal more important. Unalienable Rights, Rights to alter or abolish government, and consent of government none of these ideals would be able to happen in America if we didn’t have equality.
During my senior year of high school, Berkmar High School celebrated its 50th year anniversary with the 2nd annual “Patriot Day”. Patriot Day is an event that was created to unite the community members of the Berkmar Cluster. I had been a member of the Student Council since my sophomore year of high school, and the organization allowed so many opportunities to volunteer. In addition, I decided I wanted to volunteer for this event because I loved the idea of bringing people together in order to celebrate Berkmar High School.
The Declaration of Independence, as the masterpiece which lied the foundation of freedom and independence of United States of America, declaring for the thirteen American colonists who are suffering from the ruffian British rule. Our founding fathers that wrote the Declaration of Independence for the rights of the American people did not have Negroes in mind. The words stated pertain only to white men, and not other groups such as Indians or Negroes. So, when the Declaration of Independence was talking about how everyone should be considered equal, that was talking about all white men should see and treat each other equally. The government is meant to affect white men only because this is the only group of people with rights. Negroes aren’t citizens and they should not be given the same rights that humanity has to offer and should be a slave. Lincoln agrees that whites are the superior race, then we should take our right to assert our power over them. I am not saying
In 1776, the actions of King George III made it necessary for the thirteen English colonies of America to unite, declare independence and to sever political ties to Great Britain. The Declaration of Independence was and is the most important part of America’s history because of its influence throughout history. The over taxed, under represented people of America needed a strong statement showing the colonists resolve to be free of English rule. The Declaration of Independence was the starting point for the United States, making it the most important document in American history. over two-hundred copies were sent out across the colonies. Thomas Jefferson the author of the Declaration of Independence was a well educated man graduating from The College of William and
When you consider the Founding Fathers, wellness isn't precisely the first thing that rings a bell. Picture heavy Ben Franklin.
On July 4th we celebrate the Declaration of Independence and we honor a period in the life of our country rather than a single historical event. July 4, 1776 was a great occasion in our history, and some would suggest, in the history of mankind, because it was the beginning of 15 years of startling developments. In that very brief period, a handful of men in our small country wrote the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and
