On November 22, 1963 national tragedy struck America after the catastrophic death of the thirty-fifth president of the United States, John F. Kennedy. Kennedy arrived in Dallas with his wife, Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy, by his side and rode in a convertible limousine behind John and Nellie Connolly through Dealy Plaza. When the motorcade took way through downtown Dallas, shots were fired at president Kennedy soon killing him. The assassination of president John F. Kennedy made questions surface about his death, and when those questions were left unanswered, distrust of the government in the 1960’s formed; in return led conspiracies to thrive.
President Kennedy accomplished many things while in office including, establishing the peace corps, emphasized public service, set a goal to put man on the moon, prevented nuclear war, etc. Kennedy depicted a “get-it-done optimism” which was so powerful for America to witness. Jackie Kennedy referred to her husband 's presidency as "Camelot," a wistful nod to the legend and idealism of King Arthur and his round table of heroic knights” (Walsh). During JFK’s presidency, Americans believed that they lived in an enchanted country where people could strive to better their lives (Walsh). Subsequently, JFK was fixing to run for president again to ensure that America stayed in a place of peace.

The incident of JFK assassination is one of the biggest events in the United States of America, and so many of myths and theories are discussed and examined by tons of people who are professional and amateur in any kinds of fields. Even if the Warren Commission adjudicated the JFK assassination was done by only Lee Harvey Oswald, there are significant amount of eyewitnesses that we cannot just ignore are testified and mentioned something about the second sniper which make the people believe that the theory of Gracy Knoll is very logical and beliebable. Still now, almost all people who are interested in the JFK assassination think and assume that there was a second sniper, and the second sniper shot President Kennedy’s head and killed.
In 1980, Charles Harrelson was convicted of shooting federal judge John H. Wood, Jr. He was arrested in September of that year after a six hour standoff with police on the side of a highway. During the saga, Harrelson confessed to the assassination of John F. Kennedy in addition to Judge Wood. He later stated he had nothing to do with the JFK assassination, claiming he only confessed to the crime to ensure that he would live longer.

In the 1960 presidential election John F. Kennedy went head to head with Richard Nixon. This was the first time the presidential debate was televised in history. Due to this being the first televised debate, this changed the outcome by giving the candidates a better opportunity to publicize their campaign. John F. Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline Massachusetts, John F. Kennedy who also goes by his nickname "Jack" was the second oldest of nine siblings. Kennedy attended a boarding school in Connecticut called Choate. After graduating from Choate, Kennedy decided to further his education at Harvard University where his older brother was attending. During his senior year at Harvard, John decided to write about the war of Great Britain and Germany and how Great Britain was surprised by Germany.

November 22, 1963 is a day in which some Americans will remember and some won’t. That Friday at 12:30 P.M the President of the United States was shot at Dealey Plaza, Texas. There have been numerous theories on how the president was killed and how many shooters there were. However we did catch a suspect named Lee Oswald who was a former U.S. Marine sniper, who hated Kennedy’s views, and fled the scene and shot a police officer with his revolver. Many people have the right to blame Oswald but in my mind there were two shooters. In this essay I will explain why I believe this and help support my theory.

On November 22, 1963, President Kennedy was shot in the head by a sniper during a motorcade through downtown Dallas. In the car was his wife, Mrs. Kennedy and governor of Texas, John B. Connally. Witnesses reported that they heard three shots, the first of which killed President Kennedy and it was speculated that the shots emerged from a building just off the motorcade route. President Kennedy was rushed to the Dallas Parkland Hospital where he received immediate medical attention. Upon the arrival at Parkland hospital, President Kennedy was near death and according to the New York Times “A missile had gone in and out of the back of his head causing external lacerations and loss of brain tissue”. According to Walter Cronkite of the CBS evening news, “blood transfusions were being given to president Kennedy”. Shortly after Kennedy’s confirmed death, vice president Lyndon B. Johnson was inaugurated as president. At the site of the crime, Lee H. Oswald was apprehended by police officers for being the prime suspect in Kennedy’s assassination. Social media erupted like never before on the day of President Kennedy’s death and communication through television, radio and the newspaper was at an all time importance. President Kennedy’s assassination broke the American Spirit as shown through media such as The New York Times and Walter Cronkite of CBS news. The emotional impact of Kennedy’s death altered the objective approach of media through New York Time’s description of Mrs.
November 22, 1963, John Fitzgerald Kennedy had five days tour in Taxes. He planned to make a speech in commercial business center in Dallas. President Kennedy was sitting in an open top limousine. The motorcade drove a very slow speed in the streets of Dallas. Many residents watched and welcomed John F. Kennedy and his wife. After making a turn in the main street, a sniper hided in the sixth floor window in the City Library, shot President Kennedy by two bullets, one on the head one on the neck. Kennedy was declared his death after sent to the hospital in half hour later, and Lyndon Johnson became the new United States president in few hours of death of John F. Kennedy. On November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was attending a parade in Dallas, Texas. During this parade President Kennedy was traveling in a 1961 convertible Lincoln Continental limousine with the top down. President Kennedy was traveling in the third row passenger side seat of the vehicle, seated to his left was his wife, Jaqueline. In the second row passenger side seat was Texas Governor John Connally, seated to his left his wife, Nellie. The vehicle was driven by William Robert Greer also in the vehicles front passenger seat was Roy Kellerman.
The first part of the book explains how Kennedy visited Texas for the second presidential election coming up and how Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald had been on the 6th floor of the Texas School of Book Depository and shot Kennedy in the back and in the head while also injuring Governor Connally. Days after the assassination, Oswald was killed by a club owner named Jack Ruby. Later on, the book goes on to talk about other theories behind Kennedy's death such as the idea that there were two gunman, Oswald, Ferrie, or Shaw came up with a conspiracy to kill Kennedy, gangsters, or the Cuban/Castro theory. The end of the book concludes that most theories were proven wrong and the idea that Lee Harvey Oswald alone killed John
This historical event is one of those that people remember where they were when it happened, the assassination of John F Kennedy. President Kennedy was the thirty-fifth president of the United States of America. He was born in Brookline Massachusetts on May 29, 1917 to parents John P Kennedy and Rosa Kennedy. He had an elder brother, Joseph Jr., and seven younger siblings; Rosemary, Kathleen, Eunice, Patricia, Robert, Jean, and Ted.
