In Edward Bloor’s novel Tangerine, brotherhood is one of the main themes clearly expressed from the beginning of the story. From Erik’s rocky relationship with Paul, to Paul’s trust with Luis, these relationships contribute to both the suspense and surprise in the book. Although Paul and Erik are related by blood, their relationship can be seen as very different and even problematic. Erik is very mean and hostile towards Paul. “(Erik) poked the bat at me. “We’ll decide what’s going to happen to you.”(...) “who’s going to believe you, you blind geek? You’re blind!” (Bloor 262). This is unbelieveably the two brother’s relationship throughout the story, Paul’s glasses can be seen as weakness to his own brother. This displays their lack of a strong

John is the most important and the most complex character in the novel “Brave New World.” More interestingly, he is the only character born naturally. He tries to discover himself and find himself in society, especially in the reservation, although he is not accepted therein. He becomes a hero when he forcefully takes and lay waster to the soma that belonged to the Deltas, calling them to join him in rebellion. He is a smart person who loves art and literature. I feel John is a very bold, powerful minded character, although he was not successful in change the way the World state operated.
Pointless. Pointless is a word that defines something as being useless as no good can result from the event. The word “pointless” is not fit to describe Atticus’ defense of Tom Robinson. Atticus’ defense results in clearing Tom Robinson’s name and lessening Maycomb’s prejudice attitudes. The story “To Kill a Mockingbird” takes place in a small country called Maycomb in Alabama. I can’t believe I was stupid enough to throw a punch at a peacekeeper, and with the rest of the world watching no less. I mean, she was just doing what she was supposed to do in that situation, and Misty was the one that was openly flouting the one rule, really the only rule, about the reaping that almost everyone told her she absolutely had to follow. Which means that it was Misty, and not the peacekeeper, that was in the wrong, which made the way she responded perfectly reason.....You know what, no.
If you have not heard of the world-famous Beatles then you have been living under a rock for the past century. The idea behind this legendary music group is John Lennon. However the world shook in terror and sadness on a chilly day in December when he was assassinated in front of his New York City apartment complex by a deranged fan.
