Once in the far away mystical land of Boven Athar, there lived a wise and compassionate king, his caring and honest queen, and his two wonderful children. This tale is not about them however, but rather the king's champion Batharious the brave, who at a young age was determined to become the strongest force of good in all the lands. Batharious was visited by the goddess of everything good Zelandra, who later blessed him and deemed him her champion, her Champion of Light. Unfortunately, this blessing was double sided, for this had awoken the ire of Arcygeamos, the twin sister of Zelandra, and the goddess of all that is dark and evil. The king fearing his champion might become too restless and find darkness and evil in the hearts of those with only the purest intentions in their hearts, sent him out on a quest. The quest was to gather his fellow champions, smite the newly appointed Champion of Darkness, Marcaroniuos and to finally smite the goddess Arcygeamos, who had been wreaking havoc on the Western kingdom of Minrosa for generations. Batharious set out to gather Logarnomoca, the witty, from the freezing North where the sun rarely shines and the nights are long. Nicolamosas, the swift from the great East, where the ocean is the great provider for all, and all know its' mysterious ways. Mathaln, the arcane from the boundless South where all is so plentiful that every man has everything they could ever need just outside their door, whether it be free or for a small price. This is where the story truly begins dear listener, for our heroes are outside the gate of the Citadel of Darkness, the lair of Arcygeamos and Marcaroniuos, devising a way to breach the gates as we …show more content…

"Logarnomoca, explain to Nicolamosas why I can't just "blow the place up" retorted an annoyed and mentally drained Mathaln. "Nicolamosas, if he did that he would kill himself with the strain, and alert the goddess to our presence, and he's no use to us as a corpse" said an indifferent Logarnomoca. "Quiet my comrades, lest you alert our foulest of enemies to our presence!" urged Batharious, who had overheard the racket that his fellow heroes were making, and didn’t wish for it to continue anymore. “Be still you fools, lest we slip out from the protection of Mathaln’s sphere of cloaking and doom the lot of us to never-ending torture at the hands of the Dark Goddess or her vile champion!” ordered Batharious. “Mathaln, do you have enough power left to blow the gate off its hinges, or create a portal inside?” inquired Nicolamosas. “No, no I don’t, I barely have enough energy to maintain this field around us, let alone try something as dangerous as that, you three will have to think of a way that doesn’t involve my magic as much, I still have to level the magical playing field later on. If I don’t you three will end up looking in the general direction of Arcygeamos and being transformed into spiders for it.” answered Mathaln. “Ok, point taken.” retorted Longarnomoca.
