Lady Macbeth is a very egocentric woman. She fails to have any concern over Macbeth’s interests, and she does not consider his decisions. This lack of care for her husband is shown many times throughout the play, and it is more predominantly shown in the first two acts. Lady Macbeth believes that Macbeth has the same viewpoints as her. Because of this, instead of asking if he wants to do something, she tells him what they are going to do. If Macbeth tries to protest against her thoughts or actions, she convinces him to believe in her and do as she says using a variety of tactics. Whenever there is a mass murder and dozens of innocent people die the world wants to know why the murderer would do such a thing. Sometimes, the murderer is acting under the influence of someone else. This is the case in William Shakespeare’s play The Tragedy of Macbeth, where the titular character commits multiple crimes after hearing three witches predict his future. In The Tragedy of Macbeth, the witches are the catalyst to all of Macbeth’s crimes. This can be seen when they convince Macbeth that he will become king, they motivate him to kill Banquo and they inform him that he is virtually unkillable and should fear MacDuff.

In the play The Tragedy of Macbeth by Shakespeare the corruption of power and unchecked ambition causes many characters to get themselves into trouble. Macbeth runs into the witches on his way home from war. The witches give both Macbeth and Banquo's prophecies about what their future will look like. This motivates Macbeth through power and greed which causes him to do things he would not normally do. Avarice also influences Macbeth and other characters to become corrupt throughout the play. The power Macbeth gains throughout the play changes his motives, and his ambition increases causing him to do irrational things.

With power comes greed to. There are many people today in general who can fit that mould of Macbeth being greedy. Not only was he thane of Glamis and Cawdor, but he was also king of Scotland. Before Macbeth became King of Scotland he was The Thane of Cawdor and Glamis. In the general community today there are many of levels of greed which people have to make themselves happy, hence showing that they would fit for the role as Macbeth who was greedy.

People have control over what they do in life, but not everyone thinks before they do. Some of the actions that people do commit may result in positive or negative outcomes. In Shakespeare Macbeth, Macbeth the main character suffers many consequences because of the bad decisions that he has made in order to get himself in power and to keep his power from those who may want to take it away from him, this may lead to consequences that the character faces in the future. Macbeth is expected to be a loyal and courageous soldier that the audience may not think to be a murdures, unloyal and disobedient person. Throughout Macbeth, Macbeth is successful of becoming king because of the influence of Lady Macbeth of telling Macbeth to kill him. Although Macbeth does obtain all this power Shakespeare does not allow him to live the good life for long, instead he makes him suffer through the witches that tell him the prophecies about how powerful he will become. That makes him very confident and that is where all his actions are that lead to consequences that he suffers throughout the book. At the end of the play Macbeth is not rewarded for the actions that he has committed to become king but shows how Macbeth’s actions lead to his death at the end.

He has just been given such a huge responsibility and once he was given new power, he craved more; especially when he stumbled upon the witches. In William Shakespeare's drama, Macbeth, the main character, Macbeth, made many bad decisions because of his ambition to become king. He had many different encounters, including one with the Witches which made him question everything he ever knew. But, somewhere along the way he messed up and tried to toy with fate. Yet, it wasn’t all his fault. One may try to blame Macbeth or the weïrd sisters, though, Lady Macbeth is the most responsible for his downfall because she fills his head with ideas, she had bad intentions not only for herself, she took advantage of his nobleness, and she was prepared to risk everything they had.

We see in the play Macbeth that when the motivation to succeed in life becomes overpowering, other people may easily influence one and elements and one may decide on wrongful actions to achieve a goal. Some of the influences on Macbeth include the witches and the apparitions, Lady Macbeth, and lastly Macbeth's own insecurities and misguided attempts to control his future.

The acquisitiveness of one results in the torture of many. In the story of Macbeth, Shakespeare unveiled the tragic sequence of events that happened all because of greed that is found on the dark side of the human nature. In the eleventh century in Scotland, Macbeth is a well-known nobleman for his great bravery in defending the country. Macbeth is first introduced to the limits of his power and his ambitions by the witches, who greet him with three titles: Thane of Glamis, which Macbeth is aware of, Thane of Cawdor, which is actually is true at this point, but one that Macbeth has not been told of, and King, which has not yet become true. The witches are the ones who plant the actual idea of killing Duncan into Macbeth's mind; however, Macbeth was the one to perform and went further than that. In other words, avarice is proven in the play to be the root of all evil.
