Decent Essays

Given the choice, the only place most women would have hair would be on their heads and eyebrows and the rest would disappear into a cloud of dust, never to be seen again. Sadly that won’t happen any time soon so most women end up spending hours and hours of their precious time shaving, waxing, plucking and putting up with lots of painful treatments to remove unwanted hair.

You Should Shave The Area You Want Lasered

For best results you should shave a day or two before your laser hair removal appointment.

Is The Treatment Painful?

Most people who get the treatment describe it feeling like having a rubber band snapped on their skin or tiny pin pricks quickly followed by a cool sensation. The more intimate areas hurt more and people with darker skin are more sensitive because they have more pigment in their hair and skin

After each treatment the hair becomes thinner and and the pain becomes less. To help with the discomfort we can apply a numbing cream if requested.

How Many Treatments Are Typically Required?

This varies depending on the person. Everybody has different hair growth cycles, different hair colors and hair root depth. Typically the average number of sessions required for dark and coarse hair under normal conditions is between 6 and 8.

For light or fine hair more sessions may be required and areas of the body such as the chin which are more hormonally controlled may also need more
