In this world there is a lot of paintings, everyone can paint their own painting with a piece of paper and some color paints. But there is no other paintings like "Mona Lisa" and "The Last Supper", these two pieces of art are the most famous and admired in the world, and the artist is Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci, most known as Leonardo da Vinci. This man was a genius. He was a painter, a writer, an architect, an inventor, and he used to study all the scientific things.
Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452 in Vinci, Italy. His father was Ser Piero a rich notary and attorney. His mother was Caterina a young peasant. They never married each other; he was the only child they had together. Leonardo was raised by his father and his stepmothers, but at the age of 5 he moved to his father’s family. Hi lived with his grandparents and his uncle, they helped raised him. Leonardo did not receive any formal education beyond basic reading, writing and math, but his father noticed his artistic talents from an early age. At the age of 15 da Vinci began his apprenticeship with the noted sculptor and painter Andrea Del Verrocchio. Da vinci stayed with Verrocchio until he became an independent master in 1478.
