Why was I always such a bitch to him sometimes when it comes to girls, why can't I be nice like Vanellope? I know somewhere within me I knew she went bad at all but how can I trust myself if she was. I had so many bad experiences with people like her they seem like their nice but really their rotten to the core. I should try at least not to be such a bother on Dwayne, I wanted to start this year without me getting into fights and causing problems for him. I don't deserve such a good person who truly loves me, I'm just selfish to let myself be loved by someone as good as him. To feel his strong arms around me, the scent of his dark bronze skin and taste of those lips. I felt myself bit into my lower lip thinking about it as I softly groan …show more content…
"But glad you love it, grandma Elaine was working so much on her pretty garden that she saw that the tomatoes grew very well and made the guacamole." "Nothing beats her garden, anything out of it taste so good." I chuckled as we ate our lunch, my eyes glancing every now and then to the door. Lysander must of noticed because he made a fake cough to catch my attention. "Did something happened Castiel? You seem to eyeing the door quite a lot." "I...well it's Dwayne." I fumbled with my fingers. I watch as Lysander put lids on top of the containers that were spotless with no food as he packed them in his backpack. "Did you had a fight?" Lysander look at me with a knowing look as I ran a hand through my curls. "Yeah I mean no...well my part as usual I got jealous again." I felt Lysander hand grab my shoulder softly. "You know this is really causing a lot of problems Castiel, I know you love the guy and he loves you but most you never seem to get past that safe zone." I open my mouth to speak but Lysander shushed me. "Shush, Castiel I know you hate to let someone in your heart to later break it but do you really think Dwayne would do that? He's been your friend since forever, our friend forever to be exact. I seen how you two act with one another Dwayne always watches you with a warm gaze and look after you like your his first
“ This trip will be good for us.” Linda claimed. “ I also forgot to tell you that today is our one year anniversary, so we should celebrate it by having a fancy dinner.”
“Definitely not. The castle is a den of rumors, as you well know, and I’ve heard… things. Not that I engage in gossip, but it’s unavoidable. People… talk.”
Upon discovering that he is colorblind and ultimately can never become a test pilot because of this, Dwayne finally loses his calm demeanor and ends his silence. He screams out his frustration toward his family and it is implied that he didn’t want to become anything like his stepfather, uncle, or mother after watching their failures in life that included a failed motivational speaking career, suicide attempt, and divorce respectively. By losing such a significant part of his self-concept, he is left emotionally unstable and is forced to cope with the support of his family.
“Ha, you will be my child now and I will raise you to love lettuce,” said the enchanter said gleefully.
Damn it! (suddenly furiously shaking head) I wish I could go straight to him, and tell him everything. Unleash my hidden emotions, and make things alright with him. (suddenly conscious), but I…I can’t he comes back, each and every time, and I think, I think that’s what’s fascinating about him. He doesn’t do much but when he does, I’m amazed. But I don’t know, what if this messes up, what if I mess up, like Mum and Da - NO! (suddenly enraged). Ed and I are absolutely nothing like her and him, we’re
I bend down and out the dust in the human eyes. When you all wake up you are going to have the ride of your life.
There are definitely similarities between the love Lysander feels for Hermia and the ‘love’ he feels for Helena when under the fairies’ spell, particularly in his swearing of “true love” to Hermia (1.1.134) and of how he loves Helena “with all [his] heart” (3.2.164). However, there are also noticeable differences. For example, the most evident of these differences is Lysander’s use of rhyme when speaking with Helena after being changed by Puck’s ‘love juice.’ In act three, Lysander’s use of end-rhyme increases tremendously from the first act when he is without otherworldly intervention. The rhyming takes away the reality from the words—people don’t speak in rhymes, but they do commonly speak in iambic pentameter. The lack of rhyme, but the
A Pure Love - Lysander How would you feel if you were under a spell and fell in love with the wrong girl? In “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by William Shakespeare, Lysander presents himself as sort of a pathetic character, really. He portrays himself as head over heels in love with Hermia and then makes a fool of himself. Lysander is so convinced that love is the only thing out there that it pushes him to risk his life and devote everything to a girl he can’t be with.
In the play, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” by William Shakespeare introduces us two couples that are arguing for each other. The love between Lysander and Hermia is one that can never be broken, but there is always one person that wants to ruin everything. Hermia truly loves Lysander; she is willing to do anything for them to be together. They are both loyal to each other but the father does not agree with his daughter. Egeus is the father of Hermia, who does not give Lysander his permission to marry his daughter.
It was a beautiful night, the stars twinkled brightly against the dark, sleeping sky. Moonlight made the pond glisten. All was quiet, the only noise was the sound of crickets, and everything was still, resting through the night. Vibrant green lilypads cluttered the pond, and frogs bustled around them. The lilypads were identical, they were the same in size and shape. All except one. In the middle of the pond, was a lilypad that was bigger than the rest. The lilypad was adorned with a beautiful flower, making it even more lively and unique.
In the play A Midsummer Night’s Dream written by William Shakespeare, the couple of Hermia and Lysander lack a smooth love story. They are both having an issue with Hermia’s father Egeus wanting her to marry a person named Demetrius but she wants to marry Lysander but it is resolved at the end with Demetrius falling in love with Hermia’s best-friend Helena. Egeus, Hermia, Lysander, and Demetrius are all fighting because Egeus wants Hermia to marry Demetrius but Hermia wants to marry Lysander. Then, Egeus can't make Hermia obey him so; then, they go to the duke of Athens Theseus whom will be getting married to the Queen of the Amazons in four days. Then, the duke gives Hermia three choices: become a nun, marry Demetrius, or be executed. During
It was January 31st, 2012 and the bell for second hour had just rang. Like any other day, I was walking to the gym with Lyzeth. It was Lyzeth’s birthday so it seemed like there was something festive in the air. The week before, Emily had been gone a lot because of doctor appointments. Like any other day, Lyzeth and I saw Emily on our way to the gym. Like usual we stopped and said hi while she congratulated Lyzeth. I remember Emily was wearing a very colorful sweater and a complimented her about it. Later that day she was gone again and soon after we would find out way she was gone so much. That day was the last time I would see her. It was bitter-sweet, but it was a good memory because it is the way I will always remember her.
Lysander’s proclamation sums up the entirety of the play as lovers will always encounter difficulty onto this road of merriment - this is evident as whether this obstacle is a dissatisfied parent, an enemy Shakespeare creates a very literal hurdle for these young yet naive Athenians who are pursuing one another in these woods in this “game of love.”
Dean nodded his head in understanding, seeing how Castiel was upset by his word choice and actions. It took him a moment to rethink his words, even looking around and nibbling on his lower lip until he thought he found the right words. " I completely understand and I respect that you want to make a life for yourself. I just want to be there for you, no matter if it's financially, mentally or physically. I'm aware that you are an independent omega and that's one of the things that I like about you. I know that you can take care of yourself and I'm aware that you can completely live without me. I like that you don't have to depend on me for anything. You're strong, Castiel and that definitely makes me crazy about you. I remember the first time
He knew how Dyo avoided other people, how her actions around others were very limited, and how she felt extremely uncomfortable in the presence of unknown people. He knew how she never spoke up when needed, and that was completely perfect. He could do what he wanted with her now.
