First of all I was in my dark room with the only light being my t.v, I playing Xbox with my friend Skylar, we were playing Rainbow Six Siege a counter terrorism shooter. It was a late on a dark, stormy night, it was bomb objective and only I was left on the team to face five other enemies defusing the bomb and I slowly and stealthy with his silenced pistol picked off about two enemies outside the objective roaming and then pulled out his primary the 416-C Assault Rifle and went in blazing in the objective and his heart was racing he picked off another two enemies and that’s when he began guarding the defuser waiting to find the last enemy. “Can you search cams Skylar?” I asked Skylar.
After walking in on his sub cheating on him with the security guard, Taden McIntire had decided it was time to make a change. He wanted to have a life where he didn’t hate himself at the end of the day like he did working on Wall Street. Reading an advertisement for new entrepreneurs in the small southern town of Cedar Falls, Taden decided to roll the dice and move.
I WANT ROWDY IN REARDAN! Even though it seemed like it was never going to happen I am still going to try my best to get him in. He was my best friend and I had to get him in Reardan somehow, even if he was still mad at me or not. Well, first I had to wait for him to get over the fact that I left the rez. It took some time but he finally got over it. I’ll try and hope for the best that he gets a scholarship for basketball so he can come to the school. So I decided to get him and go to my house to talk. That didn’t turn out as expected because I heard screams and shouting bursting out of his house. So for me, I thought the best idea was to just leave the situation. Some part of me thinks that I should’ve gone in there but I ignored it, hopefully,
It was a dismal, January day when Jackson Edge first arrived at Lanceton secondary. Right away, everyone knew he was out to start trouble. However, no one knew what his first move was going to be. He always had a look, a look of hatred, that he carried with him wherever he went. He could’ve been upset by the fact that he was at a new school with no friends halfway through the school year. Or, he could’ve been upset for whatever other reason. However, we did know one thing; Jackson Edge was going to grow and make a name for himself at our school, and he will soon go from the depths of the high school food chain, all the way to the top.
On a Saturday morning, around 10am, my family was getting ready for my niece’s (Maritza) 4-year-old birthday party. After 12:30pm we were already at my sister’s (Adele) house, ready to give my niece a hug and her annual present. At the moment Maritza wasn’t home, so I stalled for a bit. Chatted with their neighbor, few high school friends, and their wife’s. Finally, she showed up along with her father. The first person she hugs is me, I’m her favorite uncle, according to her, as she hugs my legs and looked up and says, “hey uncle J.” I replied “hey?” with a bit of a curiosity on my mind. Her lip had a big red lump. I managed to not ask her what had happened on her lip. I’m thinking it’s a “I fell down” type accident. The party went off, and
The front door chimed at Theron & Son’s Tuxedo Shop as the proud African-American Mr Hayden Lewis was trailed by his aloof muscular college freshman son, Jayden. Jayden’s only sibling, Cassie, was to get married the next morning; he just flown-in for her wedding against his feelings to her soon-to-be husband.
I send my mom a quick text to let her know where I am going, and we are off in five cars lined up like a Mardi Gras parade. I have a bad feeling about this. I have never been to Micah’s grandmother’s house, and I am totally alone in the last car. If I lose them at a turn or a light, I might never find my way, but I have no other choice but to drive myself because of my early curfew. My friend, Ben, is in the car in front of me, and I am staying close behind him, so I don’t get lost.
Sitting with my laptop in the front room of my house, I nervously wait for one of my church youth leaders to arrive. Family pictures smile from the wall above the dusty piano and colorful patterns burst from pillows thrown haphazardly on the old, brown couch. At last, I hear a knock at the door and rush to open it, revealing a woman standing at the door. Seeing her cheerful smile, I begin to relax. What was I so worried about? This is Emily Wilson, an amazing, wonderful woman. I lead her over to sit on the couch, taking my place across from her. Despite her apology for being so “gross” in her purple tank top and black workout leggings, she has an aura of confidence and cheerfulness that leaves no room for my own nerves.
The igniting spark between himself and Camila did not dwindle, everlasting and perpetual; a conundrum yet to unfold.
Over the span of four months, each week I would regularly meet with a former colleague of mine by the name of Terrion Austin. Terrion recently moved from Nebraska to Tennessee, due to his job opening that presented itself that would allow for him to be closer to both him and his wife’s family. Terrion reached out to me over the summer, due to the fact that he was extremely unsure in his faith. He felt that whenever he read the bible he was never felt satisfied once done reading. This frustrated him tremendously. In addition to his frustration, Terrion was often confronted by members from his job that would frequently ask him questions that he did not feel he could answer. Moreover, his inability to answer did not come from a lack of knowing the bible; however, it was quite the opposite. Terrion, like most young Christian, grew up
Skylar Evans walked down the corridor to her next class, math. She's always loved math; she loves the fact that math is an everyday priority, so She need to learn as much as she can as soon as possible. As she sat in her chair in a middle row, her so-called-boyfriend, Chris, entered the room. Considering he's a senior, he shouldn't be in there. When he spotted her, a smirk shadowed his lips. He casually walked over to her, taking an empty chair next to her.
Spencer Reid was always picked on as a child, and even throughout adulthood. Spencer has always been smarter than the average person around him, with his IQ of 187, and an eidetic memory. Once, when he was only about thirteen years old, one of his old classmates, he had already graduated the year before, asked him to go out with her after he had written her a series of poems that showed his love for her. They planned a place and time to meet, and on the day of those plans the girl stood Spencer up. He thought it was okay though, he never really liked her in the first place, that is what he told himself anyways on the off-chance that his mother or anyone else would ask about how his night went. Spencer doubted anyone would though.
Ian ran upstairs to take a five minute shower, and quickly dressed in a blue and black plaid shirt with some khaki shorts. He attempted to fix his hair, it was a little damp, but there wasn't time to properly dry it, so it was fine.
Have you ever been to a place where beauty surrounded you at every corner? A place where you could sit and think about everything and nothing all at the same time? Well I have, and it’s my secret, my private getaway from the world. I call this place Paradisio. Paradisio has it all. It offers beautiful wildlife, crystal blue lakes, vibrant green trees and a diverse fauna. I discovered this incredible place by accident about three years ago, I was twenty years old. I had just taken up Photography as a hobby and nature shots had become my kryptonite.
