Michael Jordan had a passion for Basketball. It was not something he did to fill up his spare time; it was a goal that he knew would be his channel to influence the world. When we follow our passion, we would paint the world in very bright colors. It is important to know that our passion is our DNA, which would be the channel through which we make a mark in our world. Michael Jordan’s passion still speaks because he has influenced many generations of young people in the game of Basketball.

Call him what you want, but one thing is for sure; he is one of the greatest and most influential athletes of all time. Not only did he leave his mark on basketball forever, but he also sparked the the globalization of American sport. Growing up in a small, middle class town, Jordan defied all odds in order to make it as a player. He was cut from his high school team as a sophomore and dealt with racism soon after, yet finished his NBA career with six championship rings (LaFeber 30). But how did Michael Jordan become the icon that is pervasive today?

Magic Johnson has changed basketball due to his smile. Whenever he played, he always had a big bright smile on his face. When he first joined the league people thought the smile was a facade, but as they saw him play, his smile didn’t waver, showing it’s genuine. Johnson’s way of playing the game was unlike anyone else. He played in a different way that was intelligent and shaped him into a very successful player.

Michael Jordan is considered the G.O.A.T ( greatest of all time) in basketball and my opinion is the same as every other sports watcher because Michael Jordan compared to LeBron James is kinda unfair because look at their NBA championship ratio. Michael Jordan is 6 for 6 everytime he goes the the finals and lebron is 3 for 7 in the finals and that just proves who's more clutch in bigger games and on every team lebron has been on he’s had a nba all star and michael jordan had 0 when he first started and made his teammates so much better, that they turned into all stars because michael jordan worked with them constantly. Michael jordan is a team player and he doesn’t just focus on scoring for himself he looks for teammates to be open and get the assist.
