The two continents in the Western Hemisphere that were introduced to me in this course were North America and South America. Both continents have their differences as well as their similarities in the human geography (culture, political systems, social systems, economic systems, and people) and the physical geography (physical characteristics of the Earth). These two continents have their similarities because of their location. They are both in the same hemisphere and they are also very close to each other. Still, they differ in numerous aspects.
During the time of crossing the overland trail, many people instead chose to take the ship route which went around Cape Horn at the tip of South America. The points that we are given to keep in mind are:
Africa DBQ Africa is an extremely large continent filled with 54 countries. European occupation of Africa has shaped the very structure and function of many of these diverse countries. Socially and economically, European influence is very obvious through imperialism, the act of one country extending power and rule over another, as well as colonization, the act of establishing a colony in another country. The effects of European imperialism and colonization have greatly damaged Africa in many different aspects of life. European imperialism as well as colonization worked to control much of Africa.

Africa is broken up into the three relatively isolated parts which include north, central, and south (Source 4, emailed chart). The north is a vast desert which has tough weather conditions, it is hard to plant crops.. The central is where much of thee rainforest in the continent grows. The south is seen to have the best weather out of the three parts, however it still very isolated except by sea, though once there only has minor obstacles making it hard to get around. The bad weather conditions also made it very hard to store food in the rainforests, the humidity causing rot (Source 4).
The wide trail meant more opportunity to look around at the stunning vistas, and preoccupied with the view, it seemed no time before I arrived at the West Point Inn, built in 1904 when the tourist railroad, billed as the Crookedest Railroad in the World, took people up the mountain. The Inn was open, and a docent was explaining the history to a couple of hikers. There were beverages and snacks for sale along with restrooms. Also, in front there were several picnic tables with great views of the city. This would be a great destination for a short hike coupled with a picnic lunch, perhaps a romantic getaway. But I was only half way to my
At one point in time there was one big super continent known as Pangea. There was no need to reconnect with the other continents because they were already connected, it was just a matter of how long it would take to get from one place to another. Shortly after, continental drift happened where Pangea split into several continents. One of them is now known as Europe; another is America. 1492, the year that changed everyone’s mindset about what happens if someone should go overseas, Christopher Columbus didn’t fall of the earth like projected. However, he did find America; which led to the Columbian Exchange. The Columbian Exchange, also known as the great exchange, was the act of the new world (America) and the old world (Europe) trading
To begin with, Let me tell provide you with some web sites the Gold Coast Property Market and Gold Coast itself.
It was mid-winter of 1848, I was doing my daily chores when my neighbor brought news that two days earlier, on January 24, James W. Marshall made a discovery of gold on his piece of land in California. At first, I didn’t think that this would affect me in any way, but then I realized I could start a new life in California filled with gold and fortune, away from my small farm in Missouri. I decided to pack up my things and start on my long journey to California, I packed enough food, water, and supplies to last me a few months. The next morning I was surprised to see that not many others from my town were seeking gold, I knew it was unsafe for me to travel alone, but I was sure I’d meet others along the way.
We are going to began our journey to go across the western side of the United States. When I say “we” I mean Lewis, Clark, and myself and other expeditions that came along. We are near St. Louis, Missouri and we have a long ways ahead of us , i’ll write everything in my journal as my way of going.
The Southern Ocean is only viewed once you turn the globe upside-down, placing Australia and Argentina at the top of the globe. Viewing the globe upside-down allows us to see the vast ocean that encircles Antarctica, which is

Geographical location: Ancient Africa is nearly 5,000 miles from north to south, Africa that lies south of the Sahara desert is the second-largest continent and was the home of some of the earliest and most advanced cultures of the ancient world. Most of the rivers and streams in the Sahara are seasonal or intermittent, the chief exception being the Nile River, which from its origins in central Africa, crosses the desert underground before emptying into the Mediterranean.
