Martin Luther King Jr. was a peaceful and courageous man who used a non-violent manner to stand up for all that he believed in. King Jr. sought for equal rights for African Americans during his life. He not only participated but led many of the acts to push equal rights such as the bus boycott, antisegregation campaigns, the March on Washington, and civil rights rallies throughout the United States. Due to his strenuous work for equal rights, King Jr. was one of the major reasons for the passing of the Civil Rights Bill in 1964 (Bennett). He fought for equal rights for all people whether you were white or black, it did not matter. Martin Luther King Jr. was a great man with great values, and was brave enough to share his values and without Martin Luther King Jr. the world we know today would not be the same; he led nonviolent protest, he had the biggest voice, and hard a larger impact on the civil rights movement than body else.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a minister and an important leader in the Civil Rights Movement. He accomplished a ton in his life, from working for equal rights to all people, fighting without violence, tried to end segregation laws, said the I Have A Dream speech, and received the Nobel Peace Prize. When people research or write about Dr. King, they usually skip his early life and go to what he did in his later years. Yes, Dr. King accomplished more in his later years, but he still did a lot in his early years.

In many eyes Dr.King was seen as the United States' bravest man. Not only did he change the worlds view on segregation and racism with his non-violence protest, but also by his words of wisdom. Dr.King did not see ones size, gender, or skin color, he only saw that every man was created equally. He was a voice and hope for his people that their future and their family’s future will no longer be placed

What instills courage, selflessness, and humility in a person? Certain events and people in the beginning of a person’s life shape their character for the rest of their existence. MLK, otherwise known as Martin Luther King, Jr., was presented with a dilemma, fight for his freedom or stay hushed. He chose to fight for his rights. The revolutionary man thought of a way to fight for his freedom without breaking the unfair rules forced upon him and his followers. This ingenius idea of protesting without violence, was only the first of many that would change the world forever. MLK was a great influence on the whole world, here are some events that shaped him into the revolutionary man that fought for freedom for all.

There are many people who were acknowledged in the Civil Rights Movement. People such as Harriet Tubman, Andrew Young, Martin Luther King, John F.
