Max Planck was born in Kiel, Germany, on April 23, 1858. He later died on October 9, 1947 (aged 89). Max was a German theoretical physicist, where his fame lay mainly with the origination and development of the quantum theory, which revolutionised our understanding of atomic and subatomic processes. Fort this he won the Noble Prize in Physics, 1918. Planck was the sixth child in his family and came from a high intellectual family. His great grandfather, and grandfather were both theology professors; his father, Wilhelm Planck, was also a distinguished professor of Law in Kiel University and Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich (LMU). Max graduated at an early age of 16 in July 1874, where he started his career and began his life.

After completing his elementary years he attended secondary school in upper Bavaria. This is when Max found his love for music, and was awarded the school prize in catechism and good conduct almost every year. Towards the end of his schooling journey, Planck did not have any ideas in which subject to continue in University. Therefore his teachers increased his level of interest in subjects such as physics and mathematics. He became deeply interested in these two subjects and was impressed by the nature of the law of conservation of energy. He passed his examination tests with a distinction and left school, to University, still not entirely sure about where his studies should lie. Max decided to ask a musician of the possibility of a musical career, but he replied, telling him that it is better to study something else.
I read the biography, Albert Einstein The Miracle Mind by Tabatha Yeatts. Einstein was born on March 14,1879 in Ulm, Germany. He died on April 18, 1955 in Princeton, NJ. Einstein is famous for his equation E = m c2. In this equation E represents the units of energy, m represents the units of mass, and c 2 is the speed of light squared, or multiplied by itself according to Dictionary.com.This is one of Einstein’s most remembered accomplishments.
Ernest Rutherford is one of the most renown scientists in history. He is the Einstein of atoms. Born as a native New Zealander was one of twelve children born to James Rutherford and Martha Thompson. His interest in science started when he was just ten years old. At this age, he has read his first science book and performed the first of his experiments. With age, his intelligence only grew and he even got a full scholarship to Nelson College for high school. He graduated from Canterbury College with bachelor degrees in Chemistry and Mathematics. After earning his degrees, he went on to study abroad at the University of Cambridge and studied under J. J. Thomas.
Niels Bohr was a famous physicist, born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1885. He accomplished many things in his life, some of which include, winning a Nobel Prize in physics for his quantum mechanical model of the atom and developing the “liquid drop” model. Bohr was always interested in science, even at a young age. He went to Gammelholm School for his primary and secondary education in 1903. Bohr then went on to receive his doctorate from the University of Copenhagen in 1911.
Rontgen was born on March 27, 1845. Wilhelm was a German Physicist. He was also the first person to detect electromagnetic radiation in a wavelength range, today known as x-rays. Rontgen earned the Rumford Medal of the Royal Society of London in 1896 and the first Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901. Wernher Von Braun was born into a wealthy family in Wirsitz, Germany on March 23, 1912. Von Braun first developed an interest in astronomy at a young age when his mother bought him his first telescope. In the late 1920s he enrolled at the Berlin Institute of Technology and later graduated with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 1932. He then decided to enrolled at the University of Berlin to study physics, during this time he conducted and in-depth research on rocketry. In 1934 he received his doctorate degree in physics, in that same year he led a group that successfully launched two fuel-filled rockets more than 1.5 miles.
Wilhelm C. Roentgen was a German physicist. He was born on March 27, 1845, and died on February 10, 1923. He was married to, Anna Bertha Ludwig. He received education from the University of Zurich, the Institute of Martinus Herman van Doorn, ETH Zurich and the University of Strasbourg. He received the Nobel Prize in physics in 1901 for discovering X-rays.
On 12 August 1887, Schrödinger was born in Vienna, Austria, to Rudolf Schrödinger (cerecloth producer, botanist) and Georgine Emilia Brenda (daughter of Alexander Bauer, Professor of Chemistry, Technische Hochschule Vienna). He was their only child.
Max born was born December 11 1882 in breslau, germany. He grew up in a jewish family that was a little wealthy. He was always good in school. Later on he Had went to many universities. As he grew up he had a lot happening. besides his mother dieing when he was 4 years old. His last university that he went to was the university of Göttingen. There he went to get his Ph.D and Habilitation. Which is the highest academic a scholar can achieve. There he wrote his dissertation on the stability of elastic wires and tapes, earning the Prize of the Philosophical Faculty.
Von Braun was born on March 23, 1912 in Wyrzysk, Poland. Von Braun was born to a wealthy family. He developed a passion for astronomy, from receiving a telescope for his birthday. He had a desire to learn science and math better for space exploration. He was top student in all of his classes. Von Braun went to the Berlin Institute of Technology in the late 1920s. Later he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1932. Then he went to the University of Berlin
Niels Bohr greatly contributed to the modern atomic model. He provided great knowledge on the atom and physics. He is considered to be one of the greatest physicists of all time because of his contributions to the atomic model. This required the help from a few of his fellow physicists, such as Ernest Rutherford and J.J. Thomson. Niels Bohr created the Bohr model in which he built his ideas from Rutherford and Thomson to create what he thought the atom looked like. Bohr believed that the middle of an atom is a positively charged nucleus with electrons surrounding it. He also discovered that the electrons were not in a specific orbit around the nucleus instead, they jumped around depending on the amount of energy they had.
Talmud tutored him and which at that time he introduced him to a children’s science textbook which started his dream about the nature of light. The book is written by Aaron Bernstein in 1867-1868. When his parents business failed a really important contract(also other deals), he had to go to the boarding house where he was supposed to finish his education by himself. Then when he was 16 he ran away from the boarding house because he was miserable and had repelled military duty and when he went to a door he surprisingly found out that it turned ϋϋϋϋϋϋout to be his parents house which his parents were really surprised. The good part was, he could apply directly to college even though he dropped out but when he took the entrance test he failed French, Chemistry, and Biology but was accepted in because his mathematics scores were really high so he was then allowed in with the exception of he had to finish his schooling. He went to a special High School in Switzerland which was runned by Jost Winteler. Albert became really good friends with the Winteler family and his first love was Winteler’s daughter. Zϋrich ( which was the school’s name) was a really good time for Einstein because that is where he made his true friends/trustworthy friends and that is where he first met his future wife. After he graduated in 1900, he started studied on his own skipping classes. Then when he asked one of his professor named,
In Copenhagen, Denmark, October 7th, 1885, the father of quantum mechanics was born. His parents named him Niels. He was the second child of three children, in a prosperous, upper-class family. His father was Christian Bohr a brilliant physiology professor and his mother was Ellen Adler, daughter of a wealthy politician. When Bohr was six years old, he was baptized as a Lutheran to please one of his grandmothers. Bohr’s parents were deeply passionate about education and were taught at home. Niels commenced formal school at the Grammelhom Grammar School at the age of 7. While Niels loved talking, he was weak in his native language, Danish.
Born in Germany in 1879, Albert Einstein was theoretical physicist. After graduating high school, he began working in a Swiss patent office in 1903. 1905 was like any other year in the patent office. That is, until September 27, when Albert Einstein finished a paper that would revolutionize physics.
Alfred Nobel was born in Stockholm, Sweden on October 21, 1833. He was one of eight children, where he was the fourth of them all. Although he was often very sick as he was growing up, that did not stop him from learning about all of the wonders of life. He was quite a bright child who was very energetic and eager to learn. He had many accomplishments, such as his creation of dynamite and the Nobel Prize. He lived a long life, a life of heart problems, but he continued to live his life day by day. He was forced to leave his hometown due to the fact of dynamite being unsafe to handle, but he made a living no matter what, leaving him to be one of the wealthiest men alive during this time. Alfred Nobel was a man of his word, a man who would
By the age of ten he becomes so fascinated by the world of science he self-educates himself to learn as much as possible. Albert then went to a secondary school in Switzerland. Albert felt that the academics and education were not satisfying enough so he started cutting his classes and used all his free time to learn about physics. He had learned
