Description/Proposal: I would like to describe in this proposal, a fictional television program called, “Mia’s Book”. This TV series show will be focused on science fiction and suspense. For this TV series program, the story is about a beautiful young woman, whose name is Mia (the main character). Mia lives with her husband Steve and they have a happy marriage. She had a twin brother who has the power to see the future, but one day he disappeared and they never find him back. She knew that something was wrong, but she had faith to find her brother back. She used to works in two jobs as a journalist and works at night with many coworkers that are mostly males. Her grandmother tells her that she can stay in the limbo and finds her own way to heaven, or that she can take the book and come back to life, but she will need to do an unfinished business, that will include to find her brother back again and to revive her husband in order to keep alive. But if she doesn’t do that she will die and will go to hell. Now, this is the time where Mia discovers that her grandmother was a witch. Her grandmother explained that the book will gives her many powers, even to come back to life, but she will need to discover that by herself. After coming back to life with the book, this is the time when things starts following her. The book has many magical powers, but it could also curse on her. While, she didn’t understand why the book curse on her, when she get back home, she starts reading the book. Here is when she finds out that there were many stories that the grandmother wrote, but with no endings. She understood that she will need to resolve the ending of those stories in order to survive, and if not, things will starts going against her. Basically, because these stories has no endings, these characters will come back to life to get the book, and hence, to kill her. In Edenton she worked as a caterer she was also highly respected by the black and whites. Delilah and Elijah both died when Harriet and her brother John were young. After the death of her mother in 1819, Harriet went to live with Margaret Horniblow. After Margaret Horniblow’s death, She became the property of her young niece the daughter of Dr. James Norcom. Life as a female slave was particularly difficult and full of many hardships. Black female slaves would face discrimination through both racism and sexism. Female slaves were used mainly to perform basic housekeeping chores as well as a reproductive role in the plantation, having children that would grow to be laborers in the plantation. Many enslaved mothers would have to watch as their children were abused in the fields by cruel masters or sold away to slave traders to work in some field never to be seen again. Another hardship faced by female slaves was the sexual abuse many would face by their masters. Many female slaves were either sexually harassed or sexually assaulted. Some female slaves would be forced into having affairs with their masters to have opportunity for their children to not endure abuse in the fields. Have you ever put much thought into how an uneducated woman with a disability in reading and writing, could still find a way to work and fight for not only her rights but others too? Isabella Baumfree was a phenomenal woman . She took a stand for women’s rights, blacks rights, and anti-slavery. She was a well-known abolitionist and orator.Isabella Baumfree, was born in 1797, to parents who were enslaved; she was one of twelve children. She had a rough childhood. She was sold at the age of eleven, along with a flock of sheep for the price of one hundred dollars. She experienced countless beatings and sexual abuse from her master (slave owner). Later, she married a man named Thomas and had children of her own. Her children were eventually sold to different plantations. She was only left with her infant daughter . Isabella Baumfree was a runaway slave. As the result of her children being sold, she was only able to escape to freedom with her infant daughter. After she obtained her freedom ,she went to court and challenged the validity of her son being sold into slavery. She was successful against so many odds in the court case. She won. I don’t know why, but somehow the image of the white sands between her toes, the large palm trees hanging overhead, the cool ocean breeze, the whole tropical dream, always manages to make a smile on her face. This paradise, I imagine, must be the complete opposite at home, what with being the middle child of a younger brother, Jonathan, and an older step brother, Chandlier, two cats, two dogs, a bunny, and two tropical animals called sugar gliders. This girl, who I thought I could read like an open book, proved to be very surprising and one of the friendliest people I know.
Hello I am Gabrielle Adams and I am 14 years old and I was born and raised in Alpena Michigan. When I was little I have always wanted to go into visual art, performing arts, or photography. I love playing instruments. I play the bass drum in marching band and I am learning to play the violin and the electric violin. I also love taking pictures of nature.
