Michelle Obama is the 44th Lady of the United States; in fact, the first African-American to become the First Lady of the United States. Michelle Obama was born on January 17, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. She was raised in a small bungalow near Chicago's South Side. Her father, Fraser Robinson, was a city pump operator. Her mother, Marian, raised Michelle and her older brother, Craig. They were a close family who shared meals and played games together.
