My 5th Grade-Personal Narrative

I have always played the same three sports in elementary school, baseball, soccer and basketball but the summer before 7th grade I wanted the try something new and play football but because I didn't know much about it I was having a hard time deciding if I was going to play or not. But When football season came around i signed up.

In 2015 when i was in 5th grade i changed schools to lafayette parish school and the food was BAD.And the kids were mean well alot of them.The wait for our parents and the long line of cars,and they made us pay alot of money.So we moved to scott middle and i liked it some of my friends were there and the gym was fun the food was good unlike the other school.But it changed my life because i used to be like a little trouble maker well not that much but until i came here i was not so much trouble.I was happy and i loved the teachers and it made a change in my life i dont really like the teachers that much over here i love them,and the work may be hard,but i know it no matter how hard it is i will get

It's the last day of 5th grade. Today we’ll find out who our new teacher would be next year, and then it happened! Our teacher handed out our report cards and supply list and right on the bottom in big, bold letters, said the name. It was our 6th grade teacher, Mr. Persampire.

The end of 8th grade. Alex and I had spent so much time together. We fought a lot though, we hated each other for some time but in an instant we told each other we loved one another and went on to spend lots of time together. This happened many times during 7th and 8th grade. We built a couple groups of people that we would hang out with. Alex and I had made at least 20 close friends that we could hang out with any lunch or brunch. We had grown to be so close, and at the end of eighth grade he told me that he was moving. I felt horrible. I had made lots of friends, but the one person that I spent every day with was him. Alex and I spent a lot of time together before he left. But then he had to leave. One of the hardest and most influential days of my life was when I started middle school. It was my first time switching schools in six years and I wasn’t sure I was ready to. Some of my friends had known me for those six years and some even more. I had all sorts of questions running through my head on the day of the orientation. Like, what if I don’t fit in or what if I get lost on my first day? All of these questions disappeared when I stepped into what would soon be my new school.

There's ups and there's downs, twists and turns lessons to be learned. A lost young boy trying to get through day by in a world that seemed a little bit too unfair. In middle school i didn't understand, i had no care in the world i thought I was invincible, no worries, no problem. I took my reality and turned into a dream to deal with the nightmares that haunted me at night. I just needed a second chance, i needed an awakening. Looking back on it now i wish i never taken the chances i had and opportunities granted.

Seventh grade started off well for me, as most school years did. There was the usual getting used to schedules, teachers, and so on, which always took effect, and then adjusting to who you’re in class with. Well, this and I began my third year of scouting, along with a few of my friends. This allowed us to go camping with each other often, and I enjoyed it very much. All of this held true until around December, so about ⅓ of the way through the school year. This was when my grandpa was sent into the hospital again from a heart problem that he had. When I say “again” I don’t mean that anything had happened too recently, but he did he stay there the previous January before seventh grade. At first, no one in my family worried, but quickly were doubting our initial thoughts. The reason he had relapsed from his previous recovery of the heart condition is because he had taken pills that doctors had told him he would have to take for the rest of his life. This was problematic to him because he had never taken pills for a prolonged period of time before, so after roughly ten months he stopped taking them. Middle school, when that word pops up in one’s head, it’s a sudden reminder of dreadfulness,broken promises,regrets,first crushes, and last but not least, learned lessons. Another morning had brought another school day. Seeing familiar faces and teachers I just wanted to get through the day with no trouble, but that’s not always the case. At least it wasn’t for me. Making my way through the extended halls and walls that seemed to enclose upon me, I felt nothing more than like a chained prisoner. The bell rung and I remained seated in my class, surrounded by boxed, outdated computers and rusty white walls, I felt helpless.

Sixth grade the first year of middle school. Some think it will be really hard and some think it will be a piece of cake. For me the first few days are going pretty good. I’ve got all my classes down. There are no mean teachers. Plus, the homework is extremely easy and there is not a lot.

Well in seventh grade was a little hectic for me but I got through it. Emily hadn't moved yet. I mostly hung out with Mikayla, Emily, and who ever stood by the library. I didn't really get the hang out high school til around ninth grade. I don't really even remember most of my classes before ninth grade. I remember sitting by the library in any weather unless the teachers made us go inside the building. Our whole group stood there, there was some I hadn't really talked to yet but I soon became friends with everyone over there. Most of the people I met when I first came to Junior high are now graduated. Ninth grade started Emily had moved. I still hung out with Mikayla though. Then my brother introduced me to this girl named Brianna we hung

Have you ever wanted to do something very bad? So you done it anyway? It was between my 8th grade and my freshman year. I made a horrible mistake, but I learned something really valuable. I wish I never did what I did, but if I didn’t do it. I wouldn’t of learned the lesson I did. I lied to my parents.

My 9th grade year was a memory to never forget. 9th grade, i was new to the school just like the rest of the freshmen's i came into the school with, we were not really focused on the education we were more so focused on having fun and seeing different and older people and just experiencing the life of a high schooler. As bad as that may sound it was the truth but that was the year i meant my home boys Block, Tick and Jalen, i knew block and tick for some years already but i meant jalen when i got to high school and instantly we became close like brothers.

My most difficult situation was when we found out about my eyes when I was in the third grade. It all started when I was having trouble seeing the text books, the stuff on the boards, and my grades started to go down because of me losing my vision. When you are in the third grade and you are eight or nine years old, it’s hard to accept the fact you won’t be the same as your friends and that you can’t do the things you want.

When I was in sixth grade i wasn’t really athletic. I quit almost every sport I played through elementary school because I was either not having fun or just got bored of it. During recese I would always play football with my friends and had a lot of fun with it. After a while of playing I had decided maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to try out for the football team. Back then I was that kid who would lie to be apart of the so called “in crowd” or either gain popularity. It all started during the beginning of 2nd Grade my first year in West New York, I began to hang out with the popular who would always gossip about everything that occurred in the school. Sometimes they would share stories of how much their wonderful families loved to spoil them and how they were able to have more freedom than other children our age. In return to act cool I would spread lies about my family being rich and bragging about how many friends I had back in New York. When in reality we moved for a better place to live and the fact that I was a quiet girl who would ensconce herself away from the world. That I wasn't a gregarious
