Do you ever think to yourself that some of your birthdays are more valuable than others? Personally, I happen to think some of my birthdays aren’t as much fun as when I was six years old. Currently, I am eighteen years old and as the years have gone, I’ve realized how different things have been. I must say I don’t remember all of my birthdays from when I was a kid, although I do remember a few of them. When I was five I had a birthday party and my mom hired a clown. I guess the lady was very friendly, she handed out prizes, and played with the children. It was like having a sister for the first time. Although I have to say I’m not a big fan of clowns, this woman made my fifth birthday party an outstanding time! Her name was Betty, and she was made up to portray a clown. Betty had paint with her, so she painted all the children’s faces. I believe she had painted a pink butterfly on my face and my father had painted his face as Spider Man. I also recall playing many games, it just happened to be musical chairs that I won. For my prize, I had to pick out of a huge surprise box. I was very happy with my prize because I had won myself a Snow White game for my Gameboy. Some of the girls got a bit jealous and would say that the clown would only let me win because it was my birthday. In my opinion, I think they were just upset that I had won and they didn’t. I also remember turning six. Mom and dad had taken me to Disney for the very first time. I was extremely excited to meet
I remember it like it was yesterday. It was one of the best birthday parties i've ever been to. Most parties are remembered for their incredible music and bounce houses that are super bouncy but I remembered it because it was the first time I tried a Rice Krispy treat. I must have been like six or seven years old and for some reason I didn't try them yet which is crazy, but when I did try them I entered a whole other Universe. I already loved marshmallows and I did eat the cereal by itself, but never with that combination. I must've ate all of the treats because as soon as we left the party my mom asked if I wanted to go to ShopRite. Of course I said for what I was tired from the party and my stomach was killing me, but then she said
That morning I was so happy and filled with excitement. I came into school and everyone was happy to see me. Even people I barely knew were happy to greet me with a sincere birthday congratulations. It was awesome because I had so many new friends and all of us were joyful on that day.
December 17th, that is my birthday. Having switched school counties in middle school my birthdays always had to find the best of both worlds between two different groups of friends. Well, I had recently discovered the magic of social storytelling in games like Dungeons & Dragons. At this point three of my friends and I would meet up every two weeks for a late night session of fantasy tabletop role-playing. These nights were the high points of our social lives; it only made sense that I wanted ALL of my friends to experience this awesome game. So, I invited everyone asking them to come over around 6:00 p.m. and expect to be there until around midnight. I loaded up on snacks, came up with an adventure for us all to go through, and actually cleaned a little. Everything was set up for everyone to have fun, eat snacks, stay up late, and hopefully find a new hobby. Unfortunately that is not at all what happened.
I was three years old and I was driving with my Dad. The song "Like You were Dying" by Tim McGraw. My Dad was touched by the song and released how short life actually was. My Dad rushed us home and told my Mom we were going to Disney World. My grandparents were called and asked if they wanted to come with us. They did we all packed our bags. We spent four days in the Parks. I don't remember much, but we stayed in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. My favorite part was maybe the dress my Grandma made for me, a beautiful Sleeping Beauty pink dress. Pictures of me and my family around are my favorite pictures to look at in our scrapbooks. Overall, I love all Disney Parks. It is really hard for me not to love one. Hopefully, I can finish my goal for my blog, and include more different blogs for you all to
Answer: When I was 6 years old, I got to go to San Francisco with my mom, sister, and best friend to the Orpheum Theatre to see the Broadway musical Wicked. I really remember going to see this because when I saw
My first trip to Disney World, now that, that was a memorable trip. That trip was one of the most magical and happiest memories of my life. It was back in 2008, I had just turned 6 years old a few months before we left to go there. It was summertime, and the weather was perfect. I remember being so bored on the way there because I am an only child so I didn’t have anyone to entertain me besides myself. My mom’s side of the family went on this trip with us, and at the time I was the only grandkid, and the only kid at all. So once we finally were almost there I remember passing the big ‘Welcome to Disney World” sign and being so excited I peed my pants--my mom was pretty mad, but my dad thought it was kinda funny so I didn’t get in too much trouble.
Today was my sixteenth birthday, but no one seemed to notice. I spent all day slouching around school, in every class, and at home. I thought today would be different since
Have you ever seen the dolphin from Dolphin Tale? Have you ever had an bounce house at your birthday? What was your first roller coaster? Have you ever had a awesome birthday present? What’s your favorite baseball team? These are some of my top 5 memories, what are yours!?
My daughter’s first birthday, which was July 18th, 2007, is a day that I remember like it was yesterday. We had already celebrated her birthday with the family over the weekend, so I had just planned to do something small with her. I decided I would take her to Water Works, a community family aquatic center that we lived by. When I was younger, my family would get a membership every summer, and I couldn’t wait to do the same with Lauren. My sister, Amanda, who was watching our four year old nephew Charlie, was off that day, so they came along too.
I had a princess cake and some Disney princesses on top. Best birthday party ever. I remember going to a new school in 4th grade. I didn’t want to start school there but I ended up liking it very much. I’ve known my friends more than 4 years from Cedar Rapids. When we moved to Dubuque I ended up breaking my thumb. And I had to wear a cast for a month. For my 12th birthday we had cake and ice cream. And I’m doing other stuff too like HENNA!!!!!!! Might go to
For my 8’th birthday, I went to hotel water park in Frankenmuth the name of the hotel was bavarian inn the water slides were huge. It was german. When we got there my cousins were there from Indiana to greet us at the door. There was the biggest arcade ever down stairs, I got so many prizes from the arcade that it was like was raining prizes.MY two favorite cusin’s were there and me and my one cousin went down the big water slide together and it was awesome.
My 2nd birthday. There are silly blues clues decorations everywhere. There are polka dot balloons, sweet yummy cake, and big shiny presents. There is a camera pointed at my face. The faint sound of muffled talking goes through my head. I hear the sweet words of “Happy Birthday” several times. As I open my gifts, I hear the rustling of the slick wrapping paper. My nose picks up the scent of the smoke from the birthday candles.
After returning from school and surviving another day of torture. My birthday wasn't the way I imagned it'll be. Taking that stupid girl's sweater, which smelled like an old dead decomposed body. I only wanted to celebrate my birthday, not wear another girl's sweater. Nobody even dares wearing that red sweater. If it was from a well known brand. I would keep it as my birthday gift, but God it was rigged from all sides only to be replaced with another type of wool knitted on to it. I kept this red sweater for some time, but I kept it outside my room, because the smell was horrible. My parents couldn't even handle the smell too, so I threw it on the chair outside our garden. We usually have BBQ party outside our garden every summer.
"Happy Birthday", my mom screamed out and scared me the morning of June 9. But it was surprising and nice of her since she wished me before anyone else. It was my eighteen birthday and it was my day. While looking out the big windows in my room, I thought to myself, I will do what satisfies me today, but wasn't quite sure what? I didn’t receive any calls from my friends, or other relatives. Nobody was home either besides my mom with whom I can’t make plans because she got her own work to do. It depressed me because it seemed like this was going to be one boring eighteen birthday.
My most memorable childhood event was when I was 15 years old. It was the Fourth of July. A big family vacation a barbeque, over night stay and out of town trip to six flags, and I had a blast the night before me, my mom, sisters and brother packed our bags to stay the night over my cousin house in Goodlettsville ,Tennessee. She had the biggest house ever I thought it was a mansion; six bedrooms two an half bath, a swimming pool, a game/movie room with a nice big kitchen. It was something that I was not use, knowing that we stayed in a three bedroom based on an income apartment on the East side of Nashville.
