Inside the place we call home, surrounded by the 5 Great Lakes is the state I love called Michigan, and inside that state is my Michigan hero. My Michigan hero is my amazing dad. I admire my dad for everything he does. He is a wonderful person who is very kind and works hard. My dad’s background story is what helps define him. My dad is passionate about racing. He raced amateur motocross when he was 15 and decided to retire after ten years. HIs love of riding is in my blood. My dad taught me how to ride my dirt bike when I was five. He takes my brother and I to tracks to ride and have fun. In 2001, my dad became a Pro-Rally racer. He raced all around the country and raced in the Pikes Peak international hill climb. In 2003, he won the group
My personal Michigan hero is a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and daughter. Her family is everything to her, and she has shown them to live life to the fullest, to follow God, and to be a role model. Moreover, hard work has never defeated her, and she has shown courage in all that she does. Not to mention, the love between us is like a sunny day, but shines even greater than the sun.
My Michigan Hero is my one and only brother Tyler Shellenberger. He inspires me because he’s independent, hard working, and caring. He inspires me to be the best I can be everyday. Some superheroes have to get bit by spiders or get put in machines to get powers, but my brothers superpowers come naturally and that’s why my brothers my Michigan
Even when I asked him to leave me alone he never let me stay alone he stood in place and said to keep calm and forget it as if it didn't matter at all.
Have you ever asked yourself, “Have I done enough? Can I give more? Or even what else can I do?” If you answered yes, you could be a hero just like my Michigan hero, Dennis Graeber!Dennis is 65, he is also my Grandpa, he has a mustache, is a average height, and is very hardworking, and determined. He worked on a farm when he was younger. He didn’t go to college but worked for the state for many years, while raising my dad and aunt with the help of his wife. He also volunteers and contributes many hours to his church and the food bank. Dennis Graeber, my Grandpa, taught me that you can never give too much.
Some Michigan Heroes can be people that helped you in life or helped you succeed in life. My Michigan Hero is someone that raised me, taught me everything I know in life today. This person is my idol, that gave me a hand when I needed one, or told me to keep my head up and never look down. I wouldn’t know what to do in life if this person wasn’t in it.
My step dad Scott was my Michigan hero because he lifted my family up, played games with us and he was just nice, enjoyable, sometimes strict like dads should be, and of course a loving dad therefore a dad that cared and wanted to be in my family's lives. He helped us move on in our lives, to grow strong. I strongly know why your my Michigan hero and you should know too, because you are my Michigan hero and you always will be. I will never forget you will always be by my side. This is why my step dad Scott is my Michigan
Ok so i'll talk about my dad now so my dad billy mauk he helps me with a lot to he helps me with my racing to he buys parts for my bike he takes me to my races he gets me gear he does a lot for my racing. But he's either 44 or 45 but he's old but he's still hangin in there.
A single lock of his golden-brown hair dips slightly, just enough to tip his eyebrow. As he smiles his frosted, yet cheery blue eyes widen, they glisten under the bright stage lights. He squeezes me gently and I squeeze back. It’s that sad time again when I must say goodbye to my Michigan hero, Ronel.
One person’s hero might seem just like another ordinary person to another. My father might not be world famous but to me he’s just as much much a hero to me then any one of those people. Everyday he works; to make sure that I have an opportunity to succeed in life, have a happy life, and be able to grow as a person.
My Michigan hero is my grandpa.he has lived in Michigan for 60years and plans to keep living here. My grandpa is a very nice kind of person. He is also caring of everybody he knows. He is funny all the time makes me and my brother and sister laugh. Next he tells me I can build anything I put my mind to. Next he is very helpful with everything I build. He has helped me make birdhouse, animals banks and a gun cabinet. The main thing is the gun cabinet because he helped me plan it out and helped build it. Next he helped me pick out a stain color and helped with whatever he could to help finish it. These are just a few reasons why my grandpa is my Michigan hero.
Michigan's capital and my current place of residence. DeWitt is wonderful place for children to spend their early years, and for many of my acquaintances, still a nice place to live. When I was young, Dewitt was a growing and friendly community. The atmosphere was brimming with positive attitudes and possibilities. It sounds corny, but honestly driving down the street, with every waving arm offering a warm welcome, you would think you entered a cheesy family sitcom neighborhood.
My dad is my hero because he has bravely fought for his beloved country and family for several years. My dad has several reasons why he is my hero and will always be my hero. The reasons listed why my dad is my hero is that he has served in the military, worked at many hospitals, and is dedicated to selflessly helping his family.
If I had a ticket to go anywhere, I would go to Michigan state for the reasons that it has been a dream of mine for a undoubtedly long amount of time. It has been a dream of mine because a bunch of my friends talk about how great it is, how cold winter is, along with how lovely the lakes are. I love cold weather as much as I love water. Michigan being known for its great lakes has the largest freshwater coast in country 3,288 miles of shoreline. Oh the refreshing water against your skin during the summer days. It is said that Lake Superior is the largest of the Great Lakes of North America and is shared by the Canadian province of Ontario to the north, the US state of Minnesota to the west, also Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
My role model is a snowmobile racer he rides Arctic Cat and I like Arctic Cat. He has 14 X Games medals with ten golds, three silver, and one bronze. He has ten pro national snocross championships and 127 snocross wins. He also races supercross and he has six wins, four top ten finishes, and eight top fifteen finishes.
Being a child growing up in two separate households, with two completely different beliefs has been one of the hardest things I have ever endured. I went from being the perfect little girl that had everything she wanted and needed in life handed to her, I went from having the best dad in the world, new clothes every other weekend, money always in my pocket and not a worry in the world, to being disowned by half of my family and friends to being spoken about behind my back as if I was just trash on the side of the road, all due to one decision I made.
