My Goals For College

As student's in this class, there are a few things that need to get done every week to keep

Ever since I was young, I was exposed to a Historically Black College or University, Jackson State University. I had always went to activities and functions such as football games, summer programs, and other special events. I did not know whether I would attend a historically Black College or University (HBCU) or not at the time. I had finally decided to go to a HBCU, and I would attend Tougaloo College in the fall to further my education. I have many goals and objectives for pursing my educational experience at a historically Black College, and I plan to achieve them.

3. Take ten minutes to review your notes from every class everyday to keep your memory fresh of the materials.

Goals are important to have in a life just to simply have a reason to fight for something. There are different kinds of goals made for different times in life. There are certain goals made in high school, college, a career, and one's personal life.

Now for my mid-range goal. My mid-range goal is having straight A’s or very high grades. It will take a lot of work but will definitely be worth it. My steps will be taking my time on each assignment and revise it over and over again before turning it. My second step

Everyone has their own goals. Some people dream to be a WWE wrestler, others aspire to become a criminal justice attorney. Goals are always varying from person to person. I have goals that I have specified for myself, academically, personally, and professionally.

In conclusion, keeping my head straight and with a positive attitude will be the key to my success. I am positive if I stick to my plan and follow these steps I will be successful in this class. Procrastinating is not an option during the duration of this semester. I am aware that leaving assignments to the last minute will only hurt my grade at the end of the semester. By dismissing distractions and staying focused I know I will be successful in this class. My goal is to follow this plan to pass this class

I set a goal to further my education by enrolling in college before I turned twenty five. I was on call 24 hours a day as tow truck driver at the time not leaving me time to meet the time frame of that goal. I did not completely give up on that goal and have currently met it. The reason I was eventually able to reach this goal is my unwillingness to give up on the things that are important to me. Even if things don’t go exactly how you plan you should not give up on

Setting goals are the most important thing you can do in your life. Without goals you are going to have no direction, no ambition to be successful, no drive to stay in school, and you would have trouble finding a career that will provide for you. When planning for success you must make good choices on the path you are going to choose. The wrong path will put you somewhere that is going to take you off track of your goals. For example, it can lead you to get lazy, partying too much and skipping school. You must stay on top of schoolwork and not fall behind. Now that you understand what a goal is, you might be wondering what the different types of goals

I want to improve on the areas that I said earlier. I want to improve in my grammar, spelling, and punctuation because it will help me with writing in all of my classes. The big picture is that it will help me with what I do everyday because I read and write every day. My goal by the end of the term is to be able to spell all words correct. Also to expand my vocabulary. Another goal of mine is to upgrade my skill in punctuation. ore importantly, it will help me in my everyday life because I will be reading and writing everyday. Another goal of mine is that I want to become better at these so I can do well on my ACTs. This will help me in college. I wish to reach a score of twenty-five to feel good about myself. I said before that I need to become better at spelling, and I feel as if I can work on this by just practicing. I will become better in the other two areas just by writing more and more to have it drilled into my mind. I will know the principles of writings because of how many times I will have used them. My goals in this is to receive a grade of an A in this class. I know for sure that I can obtain this grade because I am a smart individual who likes to work

My goals for 2018 consist of a lot, my mom is a inspiration for a lot of my goals because of how hard she works. My mom recently went to school for becoming a radiologist, she is studying everyday all the time. We only see the back of her head, she is doing great in the class though, she has the top grade. I can see how she’s able to struggle through these times with the help of God. My first goal I would like to do is join a youth group. My brother was in one and he says there a lot of fun so I would love to try it out. My second goal is my academic goal. I would like to use my mom as inspiration or this one. I would like to study as she is, we can even sit next to each other and study together, and finally my goal for sports, I would like to try to get Jockey award because both of my siblings did and it would top it off, and I would love to improve my soccer skill. I recognize the importance of having God in my life and putting him first and having him help me one step at a time.

I have so many goals to accomplish, I got the opportunity to be the first one in my family to actually go to college. I’m almost done with my first year of college, and it’s has been unbelievable how much I have learn and grow. My first semester of college I was not so involved on campus until my second semester, I got a job on campus. I work at the student development and now I'm a student leader, is about the best job ever. I made so many connections, met so many people. I'm the voice of the students, we always want to listen to students ideas of what they would like to see on campus. I’m part of the Wellness Ambassadors team which we are focus on the student health, we have events, workshops, to help the students to stay fit physically and mentally.

Goals are something everyone should have in life it gives people motivation to work towards. It allows you to acquire many good character traits such as determination, responsibility, and accountability. Goals for me display something you want in life and helps you guide your path on how to achieve it. Without goals what would I be working towards in life? Goals provide an incentive when you are finally able to follow through with them and successfully achieved them. Goals allow you to have a sense of pride once they are completed. My goals that I set as SMART goals are for both in the near future and some are within 5 years. These goals are to help me achieve my life’s goals these are not only academic but professional, personal and health wise as well.

Did you know people with written goals are 50% more likely to achieve than people without goals? A goal is the object of someone’s ambition or aim. Goals are helpful because it gives the person a purpose to work hard for something. Goals are unique since each person has a different mindset for their life. My goals consists of an academic, professional, and person perspective. My goals will be described, have an explanation of past and present that attains goals, and will identify a goals to retain goals.

My first goal is for language arts , some things i would like to do for this certain class is to complete all my assignments on time , and hope that i get a good grade on those. The second one is to start getting at least 90’s or 80’s on my test to pass the class with at least a C ‘ .
