MY HEROES,
MS.SHIOVAN AND MS. LAUREN
My heroes are my Girl Scout leaders. They've always been there for when times get rough and inspired me to do many great deeds. Things like cleaning our Earth and that I can make a difference in the whole world. Ms. Shiovan and Ms. Lauren (Girl Scout leaders), have shown me trust, leadership, courage, and many great things. They've shown me helping the poor and everyone is the right path to go on. Every year we do something to help the poor or the world. Like take this year, we have helped in making blankets for the poor. You might've seen us at cookie booths, or we might've even come to your house to sell cookies, and when you support us by buying our cookies, we make lots of money. Our troop always donates
In the book “Hero” by Perry Moore, Thom Creed the main character, is a high school basketball star who struggles in finding his desire, love and the truth about his future. Though, there are many secrets that he is hiding, he then discovers that by facing his own insecurity, he would be able to find his happiness. Hal Creed, Thom’s father has always been supportive of Thom. He would attend most of Thom’s basketball games and cheer him on. However, Thom wasn’t the only keeping secrets, one of his biggest secrets would be him being gay. On the other hand, Hal is in pain after what happened to him in the past, his wife’s disappearance. This made him not really ready to talk about his past and not allowing Thom to speak or even play with superhero figures. Which then comes
One of the most important heroes would be my parents. They have done so many things for me, the’ve gave me food, clothes, and a place to live. I remember that we lived with my three uncles in a trailer because we had no other place to live. I would sleep in a little bed with my mom when I was born, and my dad would sleep in another bed. There were only two rooms so we were really crowded. That is really sad, imagine yourself living with three men that were really gross, like I mean gross. But I was still a happy kid.
The Lost Hero By Rick Riordan is a spin-off of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series.
My hero has made a huge impact on my life. They have always been there for me and supported my decisions. Whether it was a good or bad decision, I had always learned from it. When things got rough they always made sure we were happy and kept a smile on our face. One of these people were very sick but always managed to make sure we were okay. While the other one is taking care of us the best that they can he has many health issues as well. These people are my parents.
Today was my first lesson in humility. Some of the elder Monks had reprimanded me for my selfish thoughts and words. This was my first transgression and thus I was taught my lesson behind closed doors.
Heroes come in all sizes, shapes, genders, and backgrounds. Heroes can be defined by many different standards and are people of great character, who spend their lives doing what they can to help others in need. Everyone has his or her favorite hero, my favorite hero is one that is little known but to me is a true inspiration. My hero is Rolf Benirschke. He is my hero for the courage, inspiration, and help that his words provided me when I was recovering from lifesaving surgery.
The ship made its way back to the dock days later. Longing to be with John, Bella begged and pleaded to her father. He finally allowed her to date him! Two years later, John and Bella got married and lived in a small village near the shop. The shop was passed down from his father to him to run. He still went out on Fridays to catch more fish, but now when he returned home to his beautiful wife. If it wasn’t for that fog he would have never hit the ship where he met Bella.
There are many heroes everywhere in your country, city, or state. You see them everyday. But, everybody has their own hero(s) that did something very gladly appreciated for them or even for the whole world. My hero is Eleanor Roosevelt because she always tried to help everyone she can. She did everything in the right manner.
A hero can be at the burning house physically helping put out the fire, down the street putting their life on the line to catch the convict, or in the closest church spreading the word of their religion and how it has affect their life. Everywhere you go you can always find a hero nearby. The one that is like family to me that I consider a hero is my elementary teacher. She is there for anyone at any time. Starting at a young age, she was not always the best or brightest person around. She has told stories of the things that she has done and the trouble that she and her friends use to cause. In her late teens she decided this would not be the type of person that she wanted to be and decided to change the way that she was behaving. She started going to church and found programs that helped her change her way. After a while she started to reach out to her old friends and eventually got a few of them to change with her. After a while of this she decided she needed to help more people and more families and not just the friends and family that she knows best. She started to go to college and became a teacher that way every year she could help out at least another twenty kids and their families. For the past 48 years she has continuously helped out these families year after year. She has also reached out even farther and has helped children out by being a foster parent. Almost every year she would be given a child or two and has had to raise the kid for the year until someone was able to properly give them a home. Many of these children had mental problems from being switched in and out of homes and once she got them she was able to fully understand them and help them out tremendously, then after a couple months they were able to find a permanent home where she would send them and then get her next child. Time after time this was done and she has help more than a dozen children get through this and at the
The Lost Hero is a Greek mythology story by Rick Riordan, which is about Jason Grace, and his companions. It starts off, when Jason Grace wakes up having no idea who he is, or where he is. He is supposedly in Wilderness School, a boarding school for bad kids. His companions around him, are believed to be great friends of his; Piper, and Leo. They are exploring the Grand Canyon, when out of the blue, a Venti (storm spirit) comes and attacks them. Their protector, Gleeson Hedge saves them, sacrificing himself to be taken to the skies. Soon, a squad of people just like them, called demigods picked them up. They took them to a camp, just for demigods, one of their parent is a god, and their other parent is a mortal. Soon later, they realise that Leo is the son of
The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan is the start of a squealing series the Percy Jackson series by the same author. The books are about a camp for half bloods, or demigods, who are half human and half god. Over all, the books are very interesting and intriguing. This is why I decided to add a character to the story.
He woke up in the backseat of a school bus, not sure where he was, holding hands with a girl he didn't know.

Do you have a hero? My hero is my 97 year old Mamaw Violet, she is so supportive in so many ways I could tell you all kinds of stories. I look up to her when I need to talk or just when I’m feeling blue. What is a hero? A hero is much more than throwing on a cape and ready to save the world from dysfunction. A hero is a person that is there for you when you are in need no MATTER what happens or what is going on. Mamaw Violet is an encouraging person, when I see her in church it lifts my spirits high. I dream to become a good lady like her. The reason I think she is still living is because she goes to church too please god not to just to sit, no that she is so old that’s all she can do because she can’t get up in the
My mom is my hero because she is so involved in our lives in and outside the house. She makes sure we have good clothes for school and school supplies. Whenever we there is school
