A hero is not a person with strength or a person how fight monsters. A hero is a person that inspires you to be the best you can be, a person how tells you that there is nothing in the world that you can’t do, a person how will speak to you in a different way. My hero doesn’t need strength or able to fight monster, but their able to change your life in a different way. My heroes inspire me to be the person I can be today and other every day. The sound of metal crushing as the collision head-on destroyed my thinking path. I felt as if the night was fading into complete darkness. All I could think about as we collided against the mound at the north side of the hill down the gloomy stretch of road was death. The car rolled over continuously till every engine part flew from under the hood. After the car finished rolling I checked to my left to see if Sam was still alive, he was bleeding from his mouth and unresponsive. The right front passenger door was crushed, I couldn't seem to free my right arm, I was trapped. I use my left arm to tug at my right arm free it, I screamed in pain as I pulled and pulled to notice my arm was broken. I managed to pull my right arm away from the crushed door after 10 minutes of agonizing pain shooting through my nerves.

A little advantage can go a long way, this advantage, though, is something else. It all started on February 3rd, a moment of peril, a scary moment, a generous amount of commas, a crash! A car crash! Well, almost. I was riding my skateboard like usual, casually moving along, when I saw a car! but then I noticed something, The car went from 40 to 0 without major impact on anything. Soda was coming out the window but suspended by gravity so I walked over, put the lid back on and, drank the remaining soda. I saved my skateboard and thought, "C'mon, go!" and time started again. "Wait what?" I asked myself in pure confusion. I used this power to take candy from the top of the fridge and cheat on tests, know typical boy stuff, heh heh. I felt like a kid in a candy store, with $100,000,000 that is. I was the happiest little boy until a thought pierced my skull like an inch wide drill. Somebody was going to find out, "Ooh look at that teleporting kid stealing candy" I also felt bad about all the candy I stole, and the stomach ache wasn't helping one bit. I went out despite what I did and thought about it. I apologised for what I did and I went out for a walk in the forest, I really wasn't thinking was I? No, probably not.
I come from a small city where most of the people don’t have big dreams or desires. Where everybody settles down where they are at and don’t even try to strike for the best. Where nobody has hope and think it’s a waste of time if you try to reach for your goals/dreams. But in that small city for me, everybody’s mentality is the same except my uncle, who died June, 2004. His name is Javier and before he died he made a huge impact in me that determined the person who I want to become in life.
People react to experiences based on what they have been previously exposed to. This is why patience, good listening skills, understanding and respect are what I aspire to teach by example; along with the magic of music. My plan is to do this while being a great, multi-culturally competent, elementary school music teacher. What a mouth full, but that’s the goal! Western would be a great school for me. I have turned tragedy into something positive and feel like I would be coming to your school prepared with a good amount of experience.
I held on to the back of James's black jacket. I'd watched him iron creases into it, and although I'd offered to take over, he'd insisted on doing it himself.
A couple days later I woke up again and I was tangled in more IV’s than I was before and I had tubes coming from the side of my ribs and a nasal cannula coming from my nose and I felt more out of it than I was before. I couldn’t move or feel my legs, I could barely move my feet, and I wasn't able to sit up. I was so confused on what was happening, then I heard someone talking to me and asking me if I knew what day it was and if I remembered what happened. I didn't know what exact day it was but I remembered all the pain I was going through. My nurse informed me of what happened and why I was in the State I was in. Turns out my spinal cord had a stroke because it wasn’t comfortable with having those rods inside of me, so the rods were removed.

Hi! I’m Peter Parker, the tiny, round spider in the corner of the room. I will be telling you all about my great adventure from the most miserable little creature to a lucky, eight-legged spider. My adventure started the moment I was born, because my mother died. There is no way that I would forget the eight blank eyes staring into mine. I couldn’t handle it, so I scuttled in no particular direction for two days straight. When I finally settled down, I found a dimly lit room that reeked of humans. There was dust everywhere, but I was too tired to move on. I then proceeded to set up a web, which I innately knew how weave; it’s so cool! Yet, I went three full days without eating. It was just torture! Can you imagine no food at all for even a single day? Why couldn’t some juicy little bugs just step onto the edge of my gleaming web? All I could do was stay still and keep my pain in. Sometimes, I can’t stand it, and I cry for hours. No one accompanied me, and I kept thinking that sometimes, I was living the most sorrowful life anyone could ever imagine. There were even times when I found myself screaming at my non-existing mother for giving birth to me!
“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself” (Campbell 1). When we think of heroes most of us think of movie stars or professional athletes, but it’s not always about your popularity or talent it can also be about how you help society. What I think make a great hero is someone who is able to overcome his or her obstacles in life, is highly motivated, and has plenty of bravery.
As we know now, it was his passionate and private Christian faith. His compassion for his fellow man manifested itself in the form of service to millions through the United Nations. In addition, a collection of vivid personal Christian reflections, hailed by many as one of the most
What is heroism? Things preformed Superman, Batman, or The Flash? This is what most people think about when they hear the word hero or heroism. Although these characters show heroism, the definition of heroism does not have to be narrowed to the stereotypical hero. Many people have different concepts on heroism. A hero can be a ordinary person like a firefighter or cop. Heroism is a attribute that a person can obtain but they have to choose actions that help others like a fearless firefighter or cop helping others. Heroism also does not call for a reward for being heroic. Heroism is a quality or an act in all of us that a person uses to benefit for the good of other people even if there is a risk.
