The legacy that I want to leave behind is in the game of basketball. I want to be remembered as an NBA legend (or the G.O.A.T.), and my ultimate goal is to be inducted to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The lives that I will have touched will be the lives of young basketball players all over the world. I hope to donate to charities and make my own summer basketball training camp. The charities will help build schools and basketball courts in poor countries, so that families who have no money can help get their children education and enjoyment for the game of basketball. I want to promote the game of basketball worldwide, so that all young players can work hard, get better, and have fun playing basketball. I also want kids to
Now that I am on an Elite basketball team, I really have grown and learned to push myself more and more everyday. I really value leadership and teamwork, which basketball has taught me. Once I am out of C.W. Perry I am hoping to make a high school basketball team, and maybe even a College or University basketball team. I know that in order to accomplish my goals I will need to work hard and have lots of dedication. In the end goals are just dreams with deadlines.
The hall of fame I decided to visit was the Men’s Basketball Hall of Fame, which is located in Springfield Massachusetts. Its overlooking the Springfield skyline and on the banks of the Connecticut River. This hall of fame was chosen to be located in Springfield instead of anywhere else in the United States because its right around the same place the game was first played. On December 21, 1891 James Naismith presented a brand new game to eighteen young men in his class, starting the phenomenon we now call basketball.
I do not have a goal in mind. There is no deadline or additional information I can provide for my dream. I want to make a positive impact on the world. I want to have an outstanding legacy.
“It’s a real honor to go in the Philadelphia Black Basketball Hall of Fame. I’m very blessed and I really appreciate them thinking that much of me to induct me into the hall of fame.”
The Hall of Fame for college basketball players was on the wall. It had just recently been updated after the Hall of Fame presentation of Saturday. I had just woken up feeling cold. I looked out the window of my dorm to see the dark, cloudy day outside with the rain pelting down on the window pane. I was still really tired after the late night of getting praised on my amazing basketball skills, finally I had been recognized and everyone was telling me that I needed to declare that I’m joining the NBA as soon as possible! I then declared for the NBA draft halfway through my season.
Hall of Fame basketball center Bill Russell was born in Monroe, Louisiana, in 1934. Russell led the University of San Francisco to consecutive NCAA titles before starting his pro career with the Boston Celtics in 1956. Over the course of his 13-year career, Russell steered the club to 11 titles. He retired in 1969 and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame six years later. His early childhood was shaped by poor health, as the sickly Russell battled several different illnesses.
Whether it's helping refugee children trapped in war torn countries, or making life easier for immigrants who are already in the U.S. I hope to help children around the world who are suffering and help children who don’t have the basic necessities. Most importantly, for society, giving people around the world a way to education, especially for young women. Everyone person in the world is important to helping society, so helping those who are struggling get back on their feet and contribute positively to the world would help society
Thank you so much for your recent recruitment and inviting me to visit ESPN. As a graduating senior at the University of Connecticut, with the skills and experience in video production, athletics, communication, and the ability to speak both English and Mandarin fluently, I believe I can become a valuable addition to ESPN Tencent Project.
I wish to give to others all the knowledge I have attained from my past experiences to help mold the future destinies of my peers and descendants. Being remembered as an advocate who had strong, forceful opinions on multifarious topics is extremely important to me and I hope that my legacy encourages others to follow their dreams even if a person of influence is pressuring them not to. My goal in life is to live day by day and to always rely on my wisdom and heart to make the right choices in order to better my future as well as others.
In 10 years I see myself living the luxury lifestyle in Hawaii with a beautiful educated woman with 3 kids and 2 dog. I will be playing professional basketball overseas with the Hawaii Warriors. It's always been my dream to play overseas basketball or play in the NBA, with dedication and hard work I can achieve my goals. Once I make it I want to give back to my family and the community. I understand that my parents work hard for me to get me where I am today, so I want to ensure them that they will never have to work again. Second I'm going to give back to the community, I plan on opening a basketball complex gym for the kids, then I want to open a cheer leading and gymnastics complex for the girls and boys. I will already have my business
My goal it to help the less fortunate kids around the world. I will be working with the Operation Christmas Child program to make sure kids get presents for christmas. For their presents I will put fun toys and some everyday materials they need. By the end of June I will have made all the presents in boxes, wrapped them and store them until Christmas time when they get shipped out. My evidence will be a picture of me sitting in front of all the boxes.
Something that is very important to me is playing basketball. I’ve been playing basketball since I was 5 years old and it has opened many opportunities for me. For example, I’ve met many great people in my experience as a player from teammate to different coaches. Through them I have learned many things such as playing hard, developing leadership skills and personal development. The man I am today is largely contributed to basketball and my parents.
An activity that I’m deeply passionate about is Ultimate Frisbee. It is not just the game that I’m deeply passionate about; its the environments and activities that are done by the program. Through the program, I have learnt about the different ethnic cultures and struggles that people are going through in their lives. In addition to that, the program has the team play major roles in helping out with charities such as CHOA. In particular, we play a game every season where we sell tickets and raise money to donate all to CHOA. The program also wanted to give back to the community; We have days where we picked up trash around the school and help out kids in the middle school to later follow our footsteps. The program helps my team and I, see
love to play basketball. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been playing basketball with my friends. Throughout the years, I have won various different trophies, awards, and medals
Later on in life, I plan on being either a physical education teacher or an elementary education teacher and I also plan on being a varsity level tennis and basketball coach. My intentions as the head of the tennis program are to instill leadership qualities in each and every one of my players. I plan on leading by example, coming to practice willing to
