Being raised in the south is just one of the many things that Kathryn Kirkland, 18, believes to be important. Being born and raised in the small Florida town called Floral City Kathryn can recollect her childhood very well expressing that it was “an interesting one.” In the small town of Floral City Kathryn says that everyone knows everyone, so the group of friends was tight knit. She can recall one vivid memory she says sharing with us that “When my friends and I in Floral City decided that we were going to make a tree house. It took us a few weeks to actually finish the tree house but by the time we were done it was actually pretty nice. We used all scrap pieces of wood and whatever else we could find. It wasn’t the prettiest thing but we
“If, when you’re older, someone comes knocking on your door asking you some heated questions that you’re not sure how to answer, just stop and say “I want an attorney” and they’ll have to provide you with one as a basic right,” she stressed.
Finally I have escaped. I was critical about escaping at first but now I know that it was the right choice to make. I escaped with Mary Ingles, a fellow captive. We escaped while on an expedition to find salt away from the village. Mary says we are going home, but I have no home anymore. I was the only survivor of the raid. However, Mary is a kind person and says that I could live with her family. Poor Mary she has had even worse than me she has lost all her children to the Shawnee. I feel very fortunate that I survived my captivity at all. Some of our fellow captives were even burned alive by the indians. I am lucky that I gained their respect by running the gauntlet. Mary and I escaped because they let us go out into the woods to forage
One of the houses was Deep South looking; run down and bare of any organized growth, i.e. landscaping. It was just a large rectangle— greatly in need of paint and repair. And, this house just happened to be near the heart of The Town of Smithtown, right in the cross roads of the historic area of the celebrated main street. But, in hindsight, perhaps this dwelling was a part of that history—a reminder of the history that had its good and bad; the well to do and the have nots, with some of the have nots, not having because the haves didn’t want them to.
Sheila Ems Corcoran was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. I was brought home from the hospital as a new born to live on the east side of Cincinnati. But Before I was a year old, my parents moved to the west side of Cincinnati. My dad was from the west side of Cincinnati and mom was from the east side. My parents decided Since my dad worked on the west side of town my parents decided to we would move to North College Hill. My dad’s mom and dad parents lived one street over from our house. My family did not stay long at this house because, my dad wanted to build a house, since he was a carpenter, just like his own dad. was. So my parents bought a building lot north of North College Hill and my dad and his dad, with the help of friends, build a house. This is the
Kathryn Legros looked at the violin in her hands and smiled at herself in the mirror, admiring the outfit her younger sister, Lise, had chosen.
Perhaps you and April could find a potted plant to place in the living room, while your father and I look for an Eastern Cottonwood,” Mrs. Lennon suggested. She wanted, more than anything, to be placed into the category of the classic suburban mother. She wanted herself to be known for having all she could solicit. Mrs. Lennon was satisfied with herself for having a husband who worked full time and children who did fairly well in their studies. And because of the farmer’s sudden death which lead to a great sale throughout the farm, Mrs. Lennon coveted a tree of her own.
In the Midwestern region of the United States, there is a town called Plymouth in the state of Wisconsin. It is a small welcoming town with one road running down the middle, invokes the feeling of home. At night, the street lights glow along the sidewalks; the houses along the road are inviting with landscaped yards, large wicker wreaths on doors and the warmth of families gathering around the table for dinner. In the corner of Plymouth sits a park, Meyers Park is nestled between the rolling farm hills and a slow flowing river to the south. The park is where I spent my childhood, a place where I grew into the person I am today. Meyers Park will always hold important memories I have made.
Charlotte Conway thought she was in love with David Hunt, putting up with all his sexual idiosyncrasies, and obeying his every whim. However, David wanted rid of her and called his half brother Gideon to do his dirty work and pick up the mess.

New York: Sinatra said if you could make it here you could make it anywhere. It was an ever evolving fast paced city and Katherine loved everything about it. She especially loved the fast pace, she moved so fast that she was almost completely blind to her life’s imperfections: her lack of a love life. Most days Katherine believed that she had a perfect life, but then real life came calling, in the form of her mother. This morning she’d gotten up feeling optimistic until she saw her mother’s email, in the subject box: Family Christmas Dinner.
The bright yellow trim around their house chipped away from its base revealing a dull gray that reminded me of storm clouds. The fifty foot gravel driveway to their front porch was infested with tiny weeds. We called these little guys “lemonheads” because of their skinny green stems and thick yellow heads. Their house had a distinctive aroma. One you could never forget but also never explain. It almost smelled of a kindergarten classrooms, like crayons and wood. Some days, when the sun was high and all the doors and windows were open, it smelt of daisies and crisp pine trees. Their house usually was where I started my day. We would assemble in either Kevin’s room or the plastic painted castle on the side of their house and discuss our ideas for the evening. The youngest brother, Robby, always seemed to want to make mud pies or cut each others hair. Kevin and I, on the other hand, loved exploring the backyards of the cul-de-sac. With my whole family owning 5 out of the 7 houses on the court, we had a lot of vast open desert and mountain to venture through and make our own. All the back yards had two things in common. They didn’t have a fence line and they were nothing but broken down cars, sticker bushes, and mountains for miles. The mountains are where I learned
Julia and Jackson’s family lived out in the countryside with a far-reaching forest connected to their backyard. Their parents often reminded them to not play in the forest for fear that they get lost, but this never swayed the
I bet you're wondering what's so bad about having the name April. There's nothing wrong with it if you're a female. I'm sorry, but If you don't know by now. I'm going to tell you just like I told Destiny. I'm a man. A full grown man at that. I was born with an uncircumcised penis and a nut sack. I also urinate standing up, and I have testosterone flowing through my veins. I know that you're shocked just like all of the people I've come in contact with and are wondering how I got such a feminine name. I'll get to that in a second. Let me tell you a little more about myself first.
Ever since Krish had memories he never knew where he came from or how he became, it seems as though he just materialized from nothing. Krish, Krish Foster, the boy with no past…
Hadley James: the little blonde girl with one dimple, unusually tall, pale skin and completely in the moment. Loving jewelry and dresses, Dora and Disney Princess movies. All she really wanted was to have friends. Unfortunately, Bianca Hart, whom was friends with everybody, rich and gorgeous, did not want that for her.
