On today’s adventure we went to Estero Llano Grande State Park in Weslaco Texas. As arriving I notice the park was extremely huge, upon doing research I came to find out the park was 230 plus acres of refuge. We got to experience a little bushwhacking in the beginning of the natural hike. It felt pretty cool and realistic like if we were deep in the jungles somewhere. At first we went to the first trail and it was pretty long half way there and all of us where already tired. What made this park different was that we were able to see ducks as well. While walking to go find the catch, we say a little snake, while observing the snake we saw it had barely finish eating something because the belly was fat. While looking for the cache it was a green
Located just outside of Moab, Utah, the Arches National Park was underwater 300 million years ago. After the seas dried up, they left thousands of feet of salt. Soon, the layers of salt were covered in sand and other sediments. All of the sediments pressed together and formed sedimentary rock. The red rocks were deposited over millions of years to be the way they are now. During those years, erosion has shaped them into what they look like now. Soon, the water flowed through and didn’t give the top rock any support and collapsed. Caused by erosion, the water flowed through narrow cracks and made canyons.
One summer my parents informed my brother Ben and I we were going on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. I had never been so excited for anything in my life. I had a passion and love for nature, and being that Yellowstone had some of the most beautiful and interesting geological features on Earth, I knew I would have a blast. They said we would be going in a few weeks, and I literally couldn’t wait. I kept asking questions upon questions, and finally, my dad just got annoyed. “Go research it, Juliette.” He said. “The internet will know more than I do.” I took his advice and went to research Yellowstone.
It was the day my family and I were going to Six Flags Over TEXAS.I love that place I go there all the time on my birthday. I love going on all the rides except the huge rides that can give you a heart attack like the Superman ride that can go about 80 miles an hour , the scary rides like the Joker that twists and turns and goes upside down , and the twisty rides like Catwoman whip P.S. don't go on it after you just ate.I only go on the rides that I know I won't fall off and break any of my bones.I know I’m a very safe person.
I grew up in two very different communities, El Paso, Texas and Olney, Maryland. I spent the first ten years of my life in El Paso, which being home to a military base, was a community with strong military support. For the past seven years, I have lived in Olney, Maryland, a small town with families that have known each other for generations. No one really moves to Olney, most families have deeply established roots here, so when I moved to Olney when I was 10, I was very much an outsider. El Paso was fairly limited to El Paso as far as short trips, but in Olney you can be to D.C or Virginia in about an hour; there is always something new to do. Although Olney and El Paso are quite different, they have both instilled a common value in me, take

During summer break in august I went there with my grandma.some people might get a plane vasue the trip is so long but for us we drove down.It took us 3 to 4 days to finally get to where we needed to be going. It takes along time to get there only cause from driving so long you will need to rest so we went to a hotel every night and then we got something to eat for breakfast and dinner.
Every year during New Years Eve my family and I go to Lake Tahoe to see the snow and watch the annual fireworks at the Heavenly Village along with the concerts that they host. We also like to go ice skating and sledding because we always go there from December 30 to January 2. When we go sledding we usually go to the beach that is about five minutes away since that is where we have always gone and it’s always covered in a blanket of snow along with ice on top of the water. One day on our way to Lake Tahoe we noticed a snowmobile shop where you could rent one and ride them as long as you wanted. The next day we got our sleds and snow gear and went to the place only to find out that there was an hour to two hour wait. No one in my family wanted to wait, but we also didn’t want to drive back half and hour to go sledding at the beach since it was so far. My uncle asked the worker if there another place to go sledding and he recommended a place that was about
Living in the Rio Grande Valley for most of my life, I’d have to say I was raised in a very loving environment. My family members were never too far away from us, either being directly across the border or being a mile or two away from my house. The thing is is that everything seemed so close, yet so far. Family was close, but everything else was a lot farther, meaning that I’m no stranger to 7 hour flights or forty-five minute drives.
Everyone was excited to be going to Dorney Park on August 30th. We had to bring money for food and swim suits for the wild water kingdom. It was an hour and a half bus ride. On the bus we did challenges. Someone brought 4 bags of hot Cheetos so we got in to 4 teams of 2 and each team got a bag a Cheetos. These Cheetos were in the big bag and they were the puffs. We had to eat the whole bag before 5 minutes. Our hand were bright red. Tiara and I were on the same team. When five minutes was up my team lost and Asia and Danielle won. After that I took a short peaceful nap and when I woke up we were ten minutes away.
Imagine getting to spend four days in one of the world’s largest national forests getting to perceive animals you’d never think of seeing. That’s what I had the chance to do. It was the summer of 2015 when my family and I took our first jaunt to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. It was a very lingering car ride, but when we got there, it was all worth it. The park was absolutely phenomenal with wildlife roaming about. The first animal I saw was a buffalo. We were driving down a road when we saw a group of people looking downhill at a minute little pond. Curious, we got out to take a look ourselves. To our surprise, we saw a hefty male buffalo sitting alongside the water. We all took out our cameras to capture the moment. The second we saw
Well lets just start by saying that basically I had to do this project twice due to the fact that lost my picture for my first story, but hey on the bright side more practice for me. Well this picture was from about five or six years ago when me and my family went to Lake Tahoe during winter break, I was around 8 or 9 back then and it was pretty much the first time ever seen snow in real life (I seen hail a few years before that, but hail isn't exactly snow xD). Anyways the trip lasted around 3 days long which meant that we really only spend one day and two nights at Lake Tahoe. I still remember the road trip there took us around like 8 hours, mostly because driving up in a snowstorm at high speed isn't the exactly consider safe. To be honest, it wasn't a small family trip, my three cousins,
Have you ever had to travel for 9.5 hours or more to a destination you've been dying to go to? Sadly I have, and once we arrived in Texas it was all worth the lengthy car drive. While my family and I were driving to Texas my brother had to go to the bathroom every five minutes it seemed like. My family and I did so many fun things in Texas with my grandparents. Unluckily there were also some tragic events that happened. The vacation was as fun as a great trip.
Today, I paid a visit to one of the most famous national parks, named Yellowstone. My family and I had come all the way to Wyoming to see the fantastic sights and natural wonders this park was known for. Yellowstone national park is 2.2 million acres large, spanning out over Wyoming largely, but also in Idaho and Montana. While I was present, I observed interesting wildlife and their activities, such as black bears stirring about, elk grazing and coyotes trotting. There are many more species of animals in Yellowstone too, including moose, bison, wolves, and bighorn sheep. This park also contained many other interesting natural exhibits and awes including geysers, mountains, and forests, the most famous geyser, being, Old Faithful.
Everyone in the car let out a collective breath as our car crunched over the gravel turning into Arrowhead Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The tension slowly drained out of Amy’s face as she came to the realization that we weren’t going to be late after all. Luke, situated between Abby and me in the back seat, groggily peered around, taking in the rundown surroundings that had changed drastically since he had last been awake. The tiredness of being up since 3:45 in the morning slowly slipped away as we waved to friends of the family that we were meeting there. Matt parked the car among the hundreds that were already sporadically parked, and we all piled out, ready for the float trip.
