Pop the text came in, pop...pop...pop, they come in all in at once. All from my friend Kenzie: The first one just said, “Liv”, and then the next one, “OMG wake up”, and the next, “Hellooooo I'm needing you”, and then the last, “meet me on fourth street….it's urgent”. I groggily got out of bed after the last one, and now she was irritating me. I got up and slipped on my sweatpants that had paint and grass stains on them from all the cold late night soccer practices. I slipped into my Birkenstocks with my soccer socks that I had never bothered to take off. I walked along the dark dirt sidewalk tripping over rocks and other objects that aren’t able to be made out to the human eye at night.
