I was excited to take my first NCLEX test prep session because I was eager to see how I would score on it. I was happy with my first score. I know I should not get too confident with my test taking abilities because this was only one test prep session, but this particular score makes me look forward to completing more test prep sessions. Most of the categories I need to work on revolve around safety. They include reduction of risk potential, safety and infection control, and safe and effective care environment. I like to remediate on all of my past tests and for these specific topics I remediate by looking at the questions I got wrong and then looking at the reasoning for the correct answer. From there I like to look these topics up in my Medical …show more content…
I have not read on these particular subjects yet, but I have added them to a list that I keep in my notebook as topics I needed to further remediate on. My study plan for the prepping for the NCLEX includes finishing all prep test sessions and remediating on all questions whether I got them right or wrong, but going even deeper and find more information about the questions I got incorrect. In order to complete the full test prep bank, starting next week I will take one 85 question test every week through the end of August. Every week till the end of August I will also remediate that particular test that I took for five hours that week. I figured I could break it down to an hour a day Monday through Friday leaving me to have the weekend for myself. Then, starting the beginning of September I will need to take two 85 question test banks a week and remediate for a total of ten hours a week or about two hours a day. If I go on this schedule I will have made it through all of the test bank questions by
“How JROTC has prepared me to be a better citizen of the United states of America”. JROTC has prepared me to become a better citizen by teaching me how to use leadership skills and be able to cope with subordinates. It also has prepared me to be a better citizen by showing me what the 7 army values are and what they mean. Some of the army values are respect, honor, integrity, and personal courage. JROTC has showed me how to do things different from the way I thought things should be done and how to march and be able to keep a company and platoon together when marching. Since I know a lot about the JROTC I am able to help other people become better citizens like I was taught. I am also a better citizen because i have the discipline not to do certain things that I did before I took the JROTC class.

Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism are religions that developed in the East. They key objective of the Coop 12 program is to give you a taste of a career choice that you have an interest in. Since I knew that I want to become a Registered Nurse I was placed at the South Cumberland Community Care Center and at the Parrsboro Regional Elementary School in the grade Primary/ One class. In the time of 100 hours I needed, I spent most of those hours at the hospital. There had been a variety of different jobs that I was able to do at the hospital, more than I was able to do at the elementary school. In the next couple paragraphs I will explain the experience I had gained during my placements and how they had given me the extra support for my decision on my future career. This past year, I have been motivated to keep up my grades and work hard because of Adams' National Junior Honor Society program. I have aspired to be in the Society since I read it over the summer on the Adams website. I was so excited when I received this letter because it meant I had a chance at making the program. I want to be in NJHS because it will teach me how to manage my time, organize events, and work with others. Working with others who also value academic success contributes to my will to be in the program. Together, we can help each other grow and thrive in the community. We can also collaborate to help those in our community who aren’t in the position to speak out for themselves. I read about an NJHS group that organized an event where they donated toys to children who are less fortunate. They spoke out in school and changed the lives of many young, unhappy children through the program.

The Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) was created to protect Native artifacts and give proper recognition and ownership to the native tribe or direct descendants of which it is rightfully affiliated with. Cultural items include sacred objects, inherited objects, funerary objects, and human remains. NAGPRA is a federal law passed in 1990 that is used by federal agencies and all museums but is applied to anyone who discovers the listed above artifacts. This Act includes provisions for unclaimed and culturally unidentifiable items on Federal and tribal lands. There are penalties for those who do not comply or who partake in illegal trafficking. NAGPRA authorizes Federal grants to tribes, organizations, and museums to help with the documentation and repatriation of items. There is a Review Committee to monitor the process and facilitate the resolutions for disputes.

K.B. interviewed R.G. for the job. During the interview, she explained to R.G. that the on-call rotation was 5 pm to 8 am, Monday through Thursday, and weekends Friday at 5 pm through Monday at 8 am. K.B. emphasized how crucial it was for each ethicist to commit to their call schedule. K.B. acknowledged that she understood. After a successful interview, K.B. offered R.G. the job, and R.G. accepted. One week before she was to begin working, R.G. sent an email to K.B. requesting religious accommodation:
I participated in NSSHLA last year. I attended the socials, and it allowed me to meet other individuals in the major. I went to several of the guest speakers last year. I was so interesting to hear from people actually working in the field. Being apart of this club makes me even more excited about this major.
