On the night of June 12, 1994 one of history's greatest murder mysteries that has yet to be solved still remains in question. The O.J. Simpson Trial was one of the biggest trial that lasted 8 months in time and yet the case still remains open as for whodunit is yet to be solved. It involves the death of Nicole Brown SImpson (O.J. Simpson's ex-wife) and Ron Goldman. Even though many supporting evidence pointed toward O.J. Simpson on October 3 around 10 a.m. he was declared “Not Guilty.” In the case of the O.J. Simpson trial, all odds turn to him being the verdict for the truth behind the murders of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman, as theories such as the glove, his chicago flight, and threats to Nicole help provide evidence to prove O.J. truly did it. …show more content…
they found he was in Chicago. “Simpson checked into the hotel at 6:15 a.m. Monday, Chicago time, indicating that the football star could have taken any of at least three flights that left Los Angeles after 11:30 p.m. Sunday.” stated the article, “The Trial of Orenthal James Simpson: An Account,” as they discovered the bodies at Nicole’s condominium around 12:10 a.m. Why would he have taken a flight the night of the murder? After police contacted O.J. Simpson he flew back to LA as soon as he could, but what was strange was he never asked who, how, or when, after being told the devastating news. Soon as he arrived to the crime scene he was taken in by police for questioning and, five days later he was being accused of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron
In conclusion after reviewing the arguments on both sides, there is no way one can believe O.J. Simpson is innocent and did not kill Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown. As Vincent Bugliosi states, “When a person is innocent of a crime, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, chances are there is not going to be anything whatsoever pointing toward his guilt ... Not only does the physical, scientific evidence in this case conclusively prove this defendant's guilt, but virtually everything he said and did points irresistibly to his guilt“ (279). In the infamous Bronco chase, O.J. was to turn himself in by 10 a.m. on June 17, 1994 and never showed up. Police drove over to Simpson’s home sometime around 1 p.m. and he was nowhere to be found. The book that I am going to introduce is Outrage: The Five Reasons Why O.J. Got Away With Murder, written by Vincent Bugliosi, and was published on June 17, 1996. We all know that Nichole Simpson and Ronald Goldman were stabbed to death and their bodies were discovered on June 12, 1994 early morning. It was said that after a car chase, O.J. was found with $9,000 I cash, his passport, disguise, and a gun. O.J. Simpson who is her ex-husband was acquitted October 3, 1995, for their deaths in a trial that riveted the nation and divided people along racial differences. In 1997, he was ordered to pay a little over $33 million for their deaths. O.J. Simpson is still serving time in prison for things like kidnapping, robbery, burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, and numerous other charges. Mr. Bugliosi sums up five reason why the case was lost. Those five can be labeled as the jury, the change in venue or settings, the judge allowing the defense to play the race card, the stupidity of the prosecution throughout the trial, and lastly the summation of what should really have been done. But in honesty when the media started reporting about this case it was already falling apart.
O.J Simpson should have been found guilty due to his violent actions on June 12th, 1994. There were many actions or causes that led up to his violent act. The main and most known cause of Simpson’s act was “infidelity”. Simpson’s wife Nicole Simpson had been spending too much time with a man by the name of Ronald Goldman. When O.J became suspicious, he took immediate action.

I found this picture by doing a google search of the O.J Simpson trial. I wanted to use an image that captured race differences so I could talk about how that played a major role in the trial. It was a whirlwind that morning of June 13th. Simpson sat in the car on the way to his Rockingham estate after learning someone murdered his ex-wife, Nicole Brown. A million thoughts were swimming in his head, giving him a dull headache. What am I going to do with the bag? How many newspapers have my name attached to the word Murderer? Jesus Christ man. He raised his head up and looked at the window to see a sea of police cars and paparazzi parked outside of his house. The car pulled to a stop, and Simpson hopped out and followed the cops to the backyard.
The O. J. Simpson murder case was a criminal trial held at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, in which the former NFL star and actor O. J. Simpson was trial on two counts of murder for the deaths of his ex-wife Nicole Brown, and a waiter named Ronald Goldman. The O.J. trial could be seen as a historical lens and cultural lens as well. The reason why I use those two perspectives was because; in history the black people has been treated as non-human, criminals, and properties. And in a culture perspective, black people are racial discriminated and profiled which plays a huge part in the OJ Simpson trial. The trial and case of O.J. Simpson has been described as one the most publicized criminal trial in all of American history.
