Odysseus as an Unadmirable Character In the epic poem, The Odyssey, by Homer, a hero named Odysseus takes a journey back from the Trojan War in Troy. Odysseus and his crew must make their way home to Ithaca, where he leads with his wife. He displays himself, in some instances, brave and courageous, but everyone has their flaws.
