Did O.J. Simpson Murder Nicole? The murder case of Nicole Brown Simpson was and still is one of the most famous cases ever known. OJ simpson was a former NFL star and actor. He has pretty much been famous all of his life. When his ex-wife and her friend, Ronald Goldman, were found murdered outside of Nicole’s house on June 12, 1994, OJ was the prime suspect. OJ was charged with the murders, but after almost nine months of trials, he was found not guilty. The trial of OJ Simpson may have found him not guilty, but many believe that he, in fact, was guilty. There were lots of facts and evidence against OJ, but he, of course, had the best lawyers and attorneys that money could buy on his side. His lawyers and attorneys turned the murder case into a racial battle that took the spotlight off of what crimes had really been committed. In 1985, OJ and Nicole became married, but their marriage was far from “picture perfect.” OJ wasn’t just unfaithful, he was extremely abusive. Friends and relatives on each side would often notice bruises on Nicole’s body. OJ would even openly say at parties “I’m going to kill her.” …show more content…
She made her sister lock them in a safe-deposit box, and told Denise: “I need proof that OJ beat me. Without proof, no one will ever believe me. The public thinks he’s a hero who can do no wrong.” After seven years of being in a very abusive and unhappy marriage, Nicole filed for divorce in 1992. Nicole was scared of OJ, and even though she got a divorce from him, that did not mean that she was safe from him. She told her mother: “I’m scared that he’s up to something. When I go to the grocery store, he’s there. When I’m driving, he’s behind me. Even when I’m safe at home, he’s outside my house watching me.” Nicole knew that OJ was very capable of hurting her and she knew he
The first piece of evidence going against OJ is the blood. At the time of the murder there was piles of blood all over the crime scene, but it’s not just there, it was on OJs socks as well as his white Bronco, his gloves, and his home. The evidence of the blood on all of OJs items shows that he is the best suspect of this crime.
Simpson is guilty and it was not easy to prove in a courtroom, because evidence was tampered with, improperly accumulated, and not all of it was collected. Employees of the crime lab admitted to errors that took place when collecting, and storing evidence from the crime. I also feel that if the juror panel were selected in Santa Monica, where the crime took place, a very different judgment and verdict would be made. Simpson’s jury panel was selected from Downtown Los Angeles. Selecting a jury panel from Downtown Los Angeles led to a significantly different demographic of people selected to be on the panel, than residents of Santa Monica. Selecting a jury panel from Santa Monica would have led to a much different group of individuals, with an advanced level of education. I believe many oversights were made in the case and if it were handled appropriately, O.J. Simpson would’ve been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Many Factors led to a poorly situated case for the persecution, and the selected jury
The O.J. Simpson trial was one of the most recognizable cases in American History. It went on for 9 months. At 12:10 am on June 13, 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman were found murdered right outside of Bundy drive condo in Brentwood. Evidence found in the scene led the Police to suspect that O.J. Simpson was the murderer. Although the prosecution pointed to the evidence of the case Simpson lawyers argued that the police bungle the investigation and planted evidence. An examination of the case is that one of the policemen was racist and planted evidence in the scene to accuse O.J. Simpson of being the murderer.
Orenthal James Simpson, as known as O.J. O.J. was accused of robbing his own memorabilia back in a Las Vegas hotel room on the night of September 13, 2007. O.J. along with a group of men were accused of breaking into the hotel room. O.J. is a retired American Football player also known for being acquitted for the murders of his Ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and friend Ron Goldman back in 1995. (2007-2008 State of Nevada v. Orenthal James Simpson)
Imagine a police chase being broadcasted on tv for millions of people to see, a man who is running now with a gun, money, and a disguise less than twenty four hours after his ex wife and new lover were murdered. Now he is being arrested and tried with their murders and against all evidence pointing towards the rest of his life in prison, he is released after 16 months of awaiting a verdict. Well this isn’t a soap opera and that isn’t Sonny Corinthos, that is your favorite athlete, former heisman trophy winner and celebrity, Oj Simpson. On October 3rd 1995, Oj Simpson was found innocent of killing Nicole Simpson and her believed lover Ron Goldman in one of the most controversial and corrupt court cases ever. Many people
The prosecution called 78 witnesses with Allan Park, O.J.’s limo driver, being the best witness they had placing O.J. within the timeline of the murders(Geis & Bienen, 2016). The crime happened sometime after 10 pm before O.J. had left for LAX to travel to Chicago for a business meeting(Geis & Bienen, 2016). Allan Park testified that he was at O.J. Simpson’s house and knocked on his door at 10:25 pm but there was no response(Geis & Bienen, 2016). Mr. Park stated he did not see O.J.’s white Bronco anywhere and assumed he was not home yet(Geis & Bienen, 2016). At 10:56 pm, Mr. Park saw O.J. enter the front of his home(Geis & Bienen, 2016). Mr. Park noticed O.J. was very anxious and was
O.J could of used this “Knife” to kill Brown and Goldman. Jeffrey Toobin who wrote a book about the O.J trial said, “A construction worker had found the knife while helping to raze O. J. Simpson’s former home in Brentwood” The O.J Simpson case. The construction worker could of forged the knife and said it was found at the house when it was not, or it could be real the police have to find a reason that it is legit. In the few days Simpson reportedly bought a knife before the murders of Brown and Goldman. Martha Ross from Mercury news said, “Murder weapon was a 15-inch knife with a retractable blade that Simpson purchased at a downtown Los Angeles shop” Samantha Ross. He could of just bought the knife for fun or to murder them, people really dont think so because there was no evidence of O.J having the knife. However the knife that was found by a construction worker could be a hoax but until the police find real evidence Simpson is

The day was June 12, 1994 and only a few people would know that it would become a very important day in United States history. Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman are stabbed in Simpson’s Los Angeles home. Nicole Brown was the ex-wife of NFL superstar O.J. Simpson. O.J. came home the day after the murder and he found the police waiting for him and they placed him under temporary arrest. The next day OJ was at his attorney’s house and knowing he would be arrested fairly shortly, he rode off in his Ford White Bronco and caused what would be known one of the greatest police chases of all-time. He would be arrested and would be put to a trial. This would only be the beginning of a very important trial.
On January 1, 1989, police responded to a 911 call placed by Nicole (“A Timeline of O.J. Simpson’s Life”). In this call, Nicole claimed Simpson was beating her and threatened her life. After further investigation, Simpson was charged with spousal abuse. As Simpson’s advertising career and broadcasting career took off, their relationship didn’t get any better. In 1992, the couple separated (Simpson).
murdered Nicole and Ronald Goldman. Evidence lead to him being guilty, but O.J. was smart and snaked
On the morning of Monday, June 13, 1994, investigators found the dead bodies of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. They were brutally slashed the night before. This caused a lot of news coverage because of who Nicole Simpson was. She was married to a O.J. Simpson, a famous football player and celebrity. From the start, many people suspected O.J. for the murders because O.J. and Nicole recently separated. So theorists asserted that when Nicole started hanging out with Ronald, it caught the eye of O.J. Critics said that O.J. killed the two out of anger and jealousy. At the same time, O.J. had many other people supporting him and believed that he was not a suspect. Even today people still argue about this case and its mystery.
With all the evidence that was presented in court, I would honestly say that OJ Simpson was guilty for the murder of Nichole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman . The reason why I think this is because the evidence had most of his DNA in them. Also, his reaction to the phone call informing him of Nicole Brown's death was strange and this also was evidence presented in court too. Although prosecutors had an overwhelming amount of DNA evidence against Simpson, including blood traces of the victims in his car and Nicole’s blood on a pair of his socks, the defense used technical mistakes by the forensics team to suggest contamination Although prosecutors had an overwhelming amount of DNA evidence against Simpson, including blood traces of the
We live in a world where people who have any kind of power will abuse it at some point in their life. Adults, Children and people of authority abuse their power and sometimes it causes a great controversy about whether what they did is acceptable or not. Many negative effects can be demonstrated when someone abuses their power. The sadness, guilt, regret and the feeling of being worthless are the effects when someone abuses their power.
