Dr. Debra Kendall is a very important person at the University of Connecticut’s School of Pharmacy. She is a former associate dean and has been involved with the University of Connecticut for 25 years. Among other things, she is a distinguished professor on the Board of Trustees and an avid researcher and wonderful mentor to many students who have gone to her for advice.

When it is finally time for Francie to go to school, she gets so thrilled and immediately starts making high expectations for her first year. She anticipates to learn to read and write on the first day, receive her own school supplies, and to become the teacher’s pet. She becomes disillusioned when she enters school, though. It obviously takes weeks to learn to read and write. She only gets one pencil that she must return at the end of the day, and has to share desks with the other lower-class children. She also realizes that only certain people attain the rank of teacher’s pet – the rich schoolgirls. Francie is disappointed upon coming to school, and continues her understanding of prejudice.

During the time in high school Taymor was able to travel to Sri Lanka and India, where she got her first taste in traditional Asian theater. After high school, Taymor studied mime for a year at L’Ecole de Mime Jacques LeCoq in Paris. The trip to Paris also introduced her to theatrical potential of masks and puppetry. Then Taymor attended Oberlin College from September 1969 to June 1974. She graduated with a degree in folklore and mythology.

Another aspect of Stephanie’s life is partnering with The Dream Center of Lakeland. She pairs Fire Athletics with a local outreach and serves the community. It is not a glamorous part of her life and is a lot of work but, it is obvious that it is an important and impactful part of her life. She is willing to give her time to help others and connect her community, such as Southeastern, with other ones, like Crystal Grove. It is very admirable, that someone with such a busy schedule, takes time to give back and be involved in the community; that speaks volumes about her character.

She is soon swept off her feet by a man who is much younger named Tea Cake. Janie’s relationship with Tea Cake is extremely different than her previous relationships. She is stronger and more independent now. She also is married to him because she chose to be, not because she is forced to be or was tricked into marriage.. During this time, love was rare in a marriage because most marriages were set up simply for financial stability. Because of this they have a more enjoyable and adventurous relationship rather than a strict and controlling relationship. My name is Isolene Taylor, I was born in Pensacola,Florida.I currently reside in Tallahassee, Florida. I am currently employed with Capital Health plan working as an ABOC certified optician. I have four children three boys and one girl. I have eighteen grandchildren,seventeen boys, one girl. My husband and I are empty nesters. I am looking forward to this class and pray that God will give me the wisdom and knowledge needed to retain and learn what the Spirit says.

The first woman he falls in love with is Memo. The other woman he loves is Iris. Roy goes back and forth with Memo and Iris. He is constantly thinking about both women which end up distracting him from playing baseball and winning his team the championships. During an important game Roy is picturing Memo and Iris in his mind while at bat.

Roy is currently trying to better understand his wife at the moment by convincing her to act normal and arguing with her about a possible holiday. He is embarrassed about her, especially about her behaviour due to her social interactions at the recent school function they both attended. He is aiming to stop her going on holiday by arguing with her and talking through their problems, but they both need to overcome the deep-seeded pain they have for their son who they lost in the war.
