In Amicalola falls, me and my cousin Tamara were hiking on the trail. I turned to Tamara and said, “Hey Tamara do you have any lotion i can use in your backpack” I asked. Tamara turned to me and said,
“Yes Samantha let me get it”. Tamara took off her backpack and got out the lotion and gave it to me.
“Thanks Tamara” I said. I put on the lotion on my hands and rubbed it all over my face, arms, and legs. I gave the lotion back to Tamara and she said
“Don't you think the mosquitos will bite you Samantha?” Tamara asked.
No I don’t think so. I said. Me and Tamara kept walking on the hiking path and we started to hear a buzzing noise as we kept walking on the path. The noise get louder and louder and then a herd of mosquitos flew at me and
“I am aware of that. As I was saying, I grow tired of standing here on this old dresser. I long for someone to caress my gracious curves and squeeze out my fragrant moisturizer to rub all over themselves.”
The sun began to creep up behind the towering pine trees as I sip on my torrid coffee. I glance at my watch which reads 5:45 am, I gather my tackle box that's overflows with hooks and line and stick in underneath the damp boat seat. The water glistens in the morning sunlight, I aboard the scent of pine needles which is always prominent the crisp air of Northern Wisconsin.
Ella Wood. That’s who I am just Ella Wood a 16 year old girl who never really had much going on and who not many people knew. At least that’s what I had thought a few hours ago when my name wasn’t on the news and pretty much every other place that you could think of. You may be confused as to what I’m talking to you about, so let me tell you a story. Let me warn you though this is not just any story, but my story. First of all let me introduce myself a bit better. I live in a town that’s kind of big and called Blackview. I love to make music it’s one of my special talents and I could also dance. I have an older brother named Tyler. I also have a twin brother named Ethan we’re practically inseparable. We’ve done a lot of things together and
“Thanks, dear,” I said as I took it and set it in the door pocket. “See any sign of our van?”
I send my mom a quick text to let her know where I am going, and we are off in five cars lined up like a Mardi Gras parade. I have a bad feeling about this. I have never been to Micah’s grandmother’s house, and I am totally alone in the last car. If I lose them at a turn or a light, I might never find my way, but I have no other choice but to drive myself because of my early curfew. My friend, Ben, is in the car in front of me, and I am staying close behind him, so I don’t get lost.
It was a quiet, cold Tuesday night, deep in British territory. I was with my Italian squadron, Cani da Guerra; our objective was to take out the front line of enemy British soldiers. My best friend and I were on recon, trying to spot enemy movement. The rest of my squadron was sleeping in cold, dark trenches lined with barbed wire. They’d recently been filled with poisonous gas, becoming a temporary grave for many British who lay helpless, rotting away. My best friend, Sebastian, was a spotter with me. It was twelve thirty-five, time for my shift to begin while Sebastian was sleeping.
lip liner,”Kate-Lorraine said annoyed. My mother Lisa, fed up with our continuous bickering said ,”Can we enjoy 1 day without you too arguing?”My dad Tom,joined in and said “They weren’t arguing.”Whatever it was, you two need to stop it.’’m y mom said.”Ashley you can go in our bathroom.”She said.
She had found that Zack was staring at her with parted lips. She tried hard to hide the smile she wanted so badly to give him. She walked directly to him and said, “The soap and washrag you requested.”
I want to go to the motion pictures Cameron said however there is no good thing appearing at all I
Despite being surrounded by beauty and the amazing scent of my lotion, the trail in the Amicalola Fall was a good idea ,but there where some down sides to this trip. It all started like this we woke up early got dressed and put on my favorite smelling lotion . We started walking on the trail it was so beautiful but the insects where everywhere the worst ones where mosquito and gnats it was infuriating, then I remembered it was my scented lotion. I saw one try and land on me but I slapped it before getting bit and that signaled them, there where insects attacking me from left and right I was helpless the only thing I could do was to scream and I did
Juxtaposed with elegant red nail nails, my mother’s calloused hands displayed her willingness to provide for her family. Whether she needed to carry the weight of a fifty pound car battery or flip burgers at a gas station to make it, her hands quickly spent the money earned on my brother and me. These hands also held the power to prepare a five-star dinner, clean the kitchen, and soothe my greatest of woes, all before nine o’clock. Two years later, it was these hands that caused my woes.
The mommas crash through the plum thickets and into the clearing and wade in the sparkling grass. A lumbering Hereford bull tails them, with young calves frolicking about, bumping into each other. A covey of quail scurries under the rusted barbed-wire fence, and into their houses amongst the tall grass. The newly budded trees greet them...
Out of all the seasons Fall has always been my favorite. I love the way the morning light hits the dew covered leaves, the crisp cool air that greets my face when i step outside, i love having to put on a jacket before going anywhere, and the smell of the pies on thanksgiving morning. The best part is Thanksgiving and that just happens to be today, but for some reason I just couldn’t get rid of the dark pit in my stomach that told me something bad was about to happen.
Have you ever meet that one girl who is good at pretty much everything the one who is always the teacher's favorite no matter what. Well that’s me.
“ You always end up messing up your make-up let me help,” My mom already started applying the lip liner onto my face. The brush felt dry as sand on the beach rubbing against my
