Calum A small shiver traveled up Calum's spine as the wind brushed against his skin. It was a welcoming chill; the kind you can only feel from the air on a Spring morning. A cold that contrasted the heat of his body, but did not overtake it. Calum liked the feeling of breathing in the morning air, but that pleasure was taken from his lungs when his fingers met his lips. Instead of the sweet fresh air, he was breathing in death, wondering when it would come. Smoking was calming to him. When the entirety of his focus was on that one cigarette, everything else escaped his mind, and for a few minutes the only pain he felt was the dull burn of the cigarette. His whole body was numb.
