When I was a little boy enjoying summer in France, I went to the beach every day. At the beach there were many treacherous rocks that were sometimes were prickly and hard to step on, but as an adventures little boy I went on anyway. I loved the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks and washing away the rock’s sharp end. My favorite hobby on the rocks was to find little puddles of left over ocean water where little fish would swim and ponder at my every move. It was very enjoyable and relaxing for a little energetic child my age. As time went on I discovered new areas and rock structure along the beach that I would name after rooms in my home. Sometime I would even nap on the warm and softer rocks that were soothing and lulled me to sleep.
From January 15 to January 17 I engaged in my initial relaxation technique. I went to the beach over the course of three days to relax. In the essence of the ocean, I find the beach to be peaceful, passively allowing metaphorical waves to wash away my stress. Venturing to various beaches during the duration of the three days either accompanied by a companion or by myself I continued my technique as usual.
I thought when I heard the thud on the floor it was just my imagination, but when I overheard it, again I knew there was someone in my house. I was panicky and did not know what to do. I know this will be a day I will never forget and laugh when I think about it.
Born two days before Thanksgiving, near the great three-one-three, into a then family of three.
The next night as the concert was wrapping up Niall finished his speech then said Louis had an announcement. The stadium grew quiet as Louis walked to the front of the stage “Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of Larry Stylinson things going around and there is something I want to say about it.” He glanced over at one of the Modest members who was signaling for him to stop talking but he ignored him and looked back at Harry and motioned for him to come over to him. “How many people here believe Harry and I are in a relationship?”The crowd began cheering then Louis got them to be quiet again. He glanced at Harry then looked at the crowd “Well tonight I want everyone to know that we think it’s about time you all knew the truth. Make sure you get this
While I was living in Mexico with my mom; I would like to explore our backyard with my dog Jack. Our backyard looked like it was like a jungle / mountain. My house was on the top of one hill and the rest of the yard was below us so I would have to walk down this trail if I wanted to be down there. It was full of humongous trees covering the skies; we also had mango trees and coconut trees. I liked to walk all the way to the bottom with Jack because there was a little lake and when we would dig; we would dig up some see through shrimp.
Going back to the beautiful huge rock calm and peacefulness appear where no ones around returning to memories with Auntie Chelsey laughing away, idioctly, being ridiculous nice and quiet, hearing wind make music feeling tranquility and comfort of warmness running down my body watching streams make a flood to create memories about the past month by month, 1 2 3 4 boom!! summer breeze comes and the sun shines amazingly chatting all day with the sun, and all night with the
I used to work in a grocery store, there was a man who would come in fairly regularly and I would bag for him but we never spoke. I would greet him with a smile and a friendly hello but he never reciprocated. Over time I grew to resent him for it, I began to think of him as someone who was “too good” to speak to a bag boy. This went on and I became so engrossed in my own anger that whenever I saw him it would ruin my day. I hated this man who hadn’t given me any real reason to.
Not to long ago a family of four went to Daytona beach in late July. Once they got there, Carson and Kaitlyn went up to their room and threw on their swimsuit and ran down to the beach. They stood looking in awe as soon as they got outside. Standing there they tried to absorb all the beauty of the sky, ocean, sand, and sun. They had been to the beach before, but they were dying of wanderlust. Like most kids do, they run right up into the ocean, and that's exactly what they did after they looked at the beautiful beach.
When I was young, maybe 2 or so, my Grampa Lowther gave me a rocking horse. He started making them in 1999 at Confederation Park Senior Citizens Center’s wood shop. They would make them and sell them to earn money for the center.
The second baton went out of control and hit Judge Amy right in the head! She did not get hurt, yet Grace dashed off the stage sobbing hysterically. Erin exclaimed, “ Let’s give her a big round of applause everyone! Alright well that’s it, the competitions over! Time to tally up the results!” The contestants anxiously lined up on stage waiting for the results. They could feel their hearts beating through there chest and there palms all sweaty. “ For the first time ever,” Erin said excitedly, “ we have a tie!” Gasps fell across the crowd. “ Why!” and “ This has never happened!” Erin announced, “ The winners are, Jessica, Grace, Lauren, Kate, and Rachel! Everyone won because everyone deserves the crown!” Everyone let out a happy cheer and they
Walking through the trail full of mud and leaves always made me think about my life. It was always there when I needed to walk and get things off my mind. Looking around watching the leaves fall off tree after tree flying like butterflies, all different colors. When they stopped, they immediately died and they were not coming back alive again. Piled leaves filled up under trees and children ran and jumped on them like they were pillows. These trees tripled the height of humans with numerous branches holding hundreds of leaves. While walking the river flows and it is such a beautiful view with the sun shining right off of it. The ducks and little birds chirping and floating through the smooth water puts a joy to my face.
I waked up and I looked to my left to see my parents were watching the sunrise on
I walked along the beach. As I was walking I could feel the fresh smell of the beach like it was an air freshener but it also smelled that gave me a tingle in my nose. As I kept walking along the beach I could feel the light breeze coming against me. This fresh air felt warm as I felt like I was sleeping in a comfortable bed. I kept walking in the beach, as I did it felt like an escape to all my problems and also my stress. Beach felt like a solution to all my problems and could be open with anything.
Crack goes the leather ball off the wooden cricket bat. Meanwhile I was relaxed with my feet up watching the fabulous game of cricket. Then I felt a slight tingle beneath my underwear, then I felt a dribble! I start to smell the revolting smell. ‘Eww,’ I thought with a little bit of embarrassment. I start to think if I should leave the plastic seats, I do. Because my teammates say something about me passing some wind!
Although most of my life takes place indoors, from attending school, to cheer practice, to even visiting the grocery store, I often find myself turning to nature as my getaway in many spare moments. When the chance presents itself, I occasionally will just sit in my backyard, embracing nature and all of its glory, from its sunlight hitting my skin or its slight breezes that balance out the Vegas heat. I may even bring a novel with me and read in peace, or more simply rest my body and mind and become one with my nature. The serenity of that time and place, of me enjoying what I call nature, creates an escape for my mind to wander and explore, and most importantly forget. My favorite time to do this is at night; where the scorching heat has now decreased to a cool nighttime
