“Katherine will come around, she’s just embarrassed.” Irwin was leading Angela down into the downward sloping tunnels. She had to lean backwards as she walked to keep herself from falling forward. “She’s really private, but eventually she opens up. Be grateful that you didn’t read everything.” “There’s more?” “Yup, most Spirits can’t read anything written about her in the book, to them her page doesn’t exist.” “How could I read it then?” “I don’t know.” Irwin walked faster down the tunnel. “Just think about using the wind tunnels, they’re really fun. We just have to be careful.” “Of what?” “The Other World.” Angela dug her heels into the ground. “Nope, I am not going to risk being pulled back into the Other World, one time was enough for me. Katherine may enjoy it there but my time was not pleasant.” …show more content…

She kept her eyes closed against the darkness, pressing her body as close as possible to the rock wall. Let go. “No” She said out loud, no one was here to hear her talk to herself, “Leave me alone, you’re not helping at the moment.” Trust me Angela, I won’t let you fall. Angela carefully considered her options. She could either remain holding on to the wall, unable to move, unable to leave the tunnel, stuck until Katherine and Irwin noticed her disappearance. Or she could trust the voice. Not knowing what else to do, her hands clenched even tighter against the rock before she released them and allowed herself to fall. Don’t think of yourself as falling, but rather as flying. Remembering how she felt when she flew with Katherine she focused on that feeling. The feeling of freedom the wind brought, and the safety that she felt when she flew knowing that it wouldn’t allow for her to fall. She continued to push this thought in her mind until the howling began to fade, as the wind started to work with her, moved with her, added its strength to her own. Pull up the voice
