Personal Narrative : My Night At Sleep Essay

Friday night, my night to sleep. College football season was over, which meant that I had nothing to do the next morning. These were the kind of nights of sleep that I looked forward to. I crawled into bed around my usual time. With an empty house, a slight buzz from my glass of wine, and my Hans Zimmer music, a deep incredible night of sleep was inevitable. At the time, I had no idea just how true that was. Some people claim they do not remember the dreams that they had during the night. For me, this night in my subconscious was more real than any day I have lived. I fell asleep almost immediately, although it did not seem like it. The world I found myself in was as real as the world I had left back in my consciousness. Except for some questionable problems with the laws of physics the realness of this world continues to send chills down my spine just thinking about it. It began with a mental state that is not possible in the conscious mind; I was in two places at once. Describing situations that are possible in my subconscious to make sense of them in the realm of my conscious mind is extremely difficult, but I will do my best. I was both at the old ball field where my dad played during those summer nights as well as at the campground that housed so many memories from my childhood.
