If I could go back to a past experience in my life, I would choose to go back to my trip to Atlanta, Georgia. I went with my parents and my best friend, Maria. We did so many fun and exciting things together. We went go karting, to the Atlanta Aquarium, to an animal safari, and many more places. This trip was probably one of my favorites because I was with one of my best friends. Maria and I have been very close friends since sixth grade. We grew up playing volleyball together and then ended up going to the same church. She’s like a sister to me, my dad even calls her his second daughter. My all-time favorite part of this trip was the animal safari. We got into an old van with barred windows and got to drive on a dirt road with zebras, giraffes, deer, buffaloes, and many others. We were given many bags of food and we actually got to hand feed them. I took so many amazing …show more content…
I was super excited to go on the high ropes course, but when we got there, it was as big as I thought. It was still super fun though because I got to do it with Maria. It was funny because I got to scare her a little bit by shaking the obstacles. Of course we were strapped in, but we were still up high so it scared her. Once we were finished on the high ropes course, it was time to get ready for go karting. We had to wear a sleeve over our heads and then a big helmet. I was a little nervous at first because I didn’t want to run into anybody, but once we started, it was a blast. My father and I ended up racing to try and be first. It was a close race but he ended up winning. Even though the trip wasn’t perfect it was still a great experience. I was glad I got to invite Maria, because it would’ve been much different if it was just me and my parents. I would want to relive this because I want to experience it again. That trip made so many memories for all of us to laugh about in the
Well the week of our trip to Memphis Tennessee had finally arrived ! My colleagues Beverly,
Have you ever been scared silly “AHHHHHH”? My mom, Eli(cozen), Lala(friend like a little sister), Jojo(friends nephew), Alja(friends brother), Kristina(moms friend), and I drove to Elitches. We went on a lot of roller coasters. We stayed till night. My mom went on a really scary ride, and Kristina did too, it looked scary, but fun.
I had so much fun when me, my sister and my momma took a trip to South Carolina. We was originally going just to go to my brothers graduation from basic training, but ended up doing more than we expected. We had a rough trip on the way to his graduation. By trouble I mean our truck broke down in Atlanta, GA. Since the truck didn't make it all the way there, we got a hotel room in Atlanta. We woke up the next day and went to explore since we was already in Atlanta and I haven't never been before. We first went to find something to eat, but didn't know where anything was at so we asked around. One man said we should go to the Underground Atlanta food court. This is shopping and entertainment district in downtown Atlanta. It was a lot of food
One year ago this morning on April 11/2016 I arrived to Charlotte, North Carolina after four day trip on Amtrack train. From San Jose, California to Charlotte, North Carolina.
560 miles, four states, and half a day of travel to see two of my close friends and a Kanye West concert. The travel to Nashville started an early morning at Pittsburgh International Airport with my brother. After awaking to find myself in Chicago my mind started racing with the possibilities of what awaited me in Nashville. I knew the city would be packed with many others going to see the Kanye West concert in the Bridgestone Arena. As time passed I knew it was time to board our next flight to Nashville. I heard the stories about what Nashville was like but i was still excited to witness what it was truly all about. As the plane landed in Nashville i quickly pulled out my phone to send pictures to my friends and family.
Atlanta's journey was coming to a end it was time to move back to my home to where I was born. It was sad to say goodbye to my second home, I was sad to say goodbye to my family and to the friends I had made, I knew there was a reason we had to go but it was time for a new change. Boxes where all around me as I had to leave the memories in that apartment. My family from Boston came and helped us drive everything to the city I was about to call home again. I piled in the car along with man man as i said bye to my mom and little brother doobie as they stayed behind. The next 19 hours my life was going to change. I was greeted by the moon again as it followed my car until I reached Boston,
Hi I am Jason Krause and I am 12 years old and I go to nbps. I've been going to school here for 7 years and I've enjoyed it. This summer I went to Alabama for 5 weeks ! I went there with my family and I saw my moms side of the family. I found out we were going 5 minutes after I got home and we were off to the airport in less than 45 minutes. It was a crazy day! Normally we would fly to Tampa or Atlanta but this time we flew to Baltimore. I was so tired in the airport on the way there and back. When we landed in Alabama it was 10:30 pm. When we got to my uncles house it was 11:30 and my cousin Bruce was asleep because he is 7 years old. Have you ever been to Birmingham , Alabama ? The next morning we woke up and my cousin was so surprised
This trip was probably my favorite vacation because it united my family in good way. I had a great
The 6th grade school year got out about a month ago. It was about the time that I started preparing for my annual trip to North Carolina to visit almost all of my family. Only my Mom, my two sisters and I were able to go, my dad couldn’t come with us because he had to work. He works at the college and online, so, he could’ve came but my grandparents house might as well have had no internet, it couldn’t load anything! It was going to be my first time flying and of course I was a little scared and I was thinking that there is a possibility that we might crash, but, to be honest, I was more excited than scared to fly.
We were packing for our trip to Georgia, and then my mom walks into Emma’s rooms and says “Honey why don’t I pack for you” Then she said “No thank you I can do it myself.”
Have you ever went on a vacation, birthday, special event, or somewhere fun? Well I have! I had a blast at South Carolina.
In 2014, I went on a mission trip to Little Rock, Arkansas. When I first got the bus, I felt so happy as blood started circulating through my legs because I had been sitting for TWENTY FIVE HOURS on the bus ride. As well, I had to escape the mixed scents of deodorant, perfume, and Doritos. The first activity we did after unpacking was go to the I-30 Speedway, which is a racing track. It was so amusing to see the cars drift past us, until chunks of mud would shoot up at our faces. It smelt like four gas stations were right near each other and the gas pipes leaked. However, it wasn’t the most incredible part. At the end of the racing, there was a firework and fire show. It lit up the starry night sky beautifully. Gasoline
I awoke to the sound of gunshots in the night. My air mattress had deflated and I was lying on the church’s cold tile floor. Police were banging on the doors and the security alarm was blaring. This was my first night in Memphis, Tennessee.
As a child I did not have much, so going on trips with my mom were rare to none. When I was 12, my mother and I got invited to our family reunion in Georgia. I never been to one but from what I saw on TV, I knew it was going to be eventful and huge. I did not know a lot about the people of my mom’s side beside my grandparents, which is why I wanted, go so bad. After convincing my mother to take off from work so we can go for months, I took my first trip out of Florida. I remember staying up the whole time my mom was driving because I was so excited to meet my family.
Atlanta, the center of the world. Jewel of the Carolinian federation. That’s what everyone calls it.
