11th of January 2015 was my first day in Phoenix, Arizona. It all did begin since I've decided to find a new school that combines great facilities who would be productively able to help me get the best education that would look for and marvelous experience as an international student. Arizona State University was on my list of well-located and well-organized universities. I just moved from Indiana State last Spring semester which was quite fascinating and awesome since I kind of hated Indiana because of how boring it was back there despite the fact that I love how cold Indian is. I have yet spent almost 9 months in here, and everything seems extremely excellent in here.
My trip to Arizona was a really long trip (almost 38 hours or something
My trip to the Grand Canyon was the best experience I ever had so far in my life. My grandparents from Korea came along with us. Even though I saw them last year it was still an enjoyable moment that I had. Grand Canyon is located in Arizona so what our family did was fly to Las Vegas early in the morning and arrive in Nevada around 9 o’clock am. Driving to Grand Canyon was also five hours with heavy traffic. Driving and stopping every hour was hard to do but at the end it was all worth it. It was good that I had couple electronic devices and my family to keep me in company.
During summer break in august I went there with my grandma.some people might get a plane vasue the trip is so long but for us we drove down.It took us 3 to 4 days to finally get to where we needed to be going. It takes along time to get there only cause from driving so long you will need to rest so we went to a hotel every night and then we got something to eat for breakfast and dinner.
My family has a background of going to Texas at least once every year. The year that I went it was going to be mother's day, and both my mom & dad wanted to go and see their families down there in Texas. My mom and dad told me that we were going to go I was excited i’d get to see my family again, and spend time with them. It’s always fun when we go to visit everyone just having a good time. When they told my sister she wasn't that excited she knew that she’s have to leave her girlfriend, but she ended up warming up to the idea because she knew my mom and dad hadn't seen their families in a while and they never really get to see them that often.
It was the last game of the season. We had won every single game except for one. Our team had tied with Phoenixville, and today was the day that we would beat Phoenixville. Almost every day of the week we would show up for practice for 2 hours, and we have improved by a lot.
Howdy, I’m Jessie! I’ve lived in Las Vegas for most of my life and must confess right off the bat to being a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Yes, I look like a normal, everyday type of girl in my photos, but those are just snapshots. In real life, I’m always moving and always in search of my next great adventure. It’s a wonder the photographer got me to slow down long enough to capture my long, lean, athletic limbs and the long brown hair flowing down my back. Usually I’m just a blur as I whiz by the camera! It’s all I can do to sit down long enough to write this, but I know you’re curious, and my photos caught your eye. Now I bet you’d like to know a little more about me.
When I was in fifth grade I started to play basketball, and I loved it. At that time basketball was the first sport I ever played in, and now that is my most favorite sport ever. I also play lacrosse and soccer. In the summer I like to sometimes do water activities at my cabin and lounge in the sun on the lake, on a paddle board, at the end of the dock, or on the pontoon or speed boat with a friend. My first ever vacation was to Arizona when I was in seventh grade. Me and my family hiked the grand canyon, went to Scottsdale, and did other things that I don’t remember. But that was during valentine's weekend and during basketball season so we bought a basketball and at night I would practice while my aunt and uncle were in the hot tub with my
It has been a long time since I have seen my family. I am kind of missing them alot. I left 30 days ago on June 5, 1849.I came all the way from New York ,and it is very tiring to get to California I am not even half of the way there . I came on a wagon. It is still a long way to go, but i hope that it will be worth it .
It was april vacation of 2016 and my parents had told me we were going to Arizona and Las Vegas. I was extremely excited, not knowing what the city of Vegas was like or how beautiful Arizona was. We left the day april vacation started and flew into Arizona, and then would spend the next three days visiting the attractions around Phoenix and Sedona. Seeing the Grand Canyon was amazing, even though it started to snow while we were up there and we were all freezing, it was a great experience. On the last day of our time in Arizona, we packed up and drove 5 hours to Las Vegas. It was the prettiest city I had ever seen, and I constantly miss the view. We went shopping, walked the strip, went out to eat and saw all
Everyone has a different thought when they think about a place they have visited. When I think of California I think about the time I could have lost my life. Only being ten years old and seeing your life flash before your eyes is a scary situation. Ever since that day I have learned to think twice before entering somewhere.
After my time in Quebec we flew back to our home in Saskatoon before leaving for Scottsdale Arizona the next day. It was a crazy week, full of long flights, little sleep, and overpriced airport food. However, I would not have it any other way.
I once had a fear, a fear that could break me down, a fear that would surround my whole body and squeeze the light light out of me every time I thought about it. Alone . . . or surrounded, my mind would subconsciously, repeatedly, irritatingly remind me that Death once said, "You have to believe in God like you believe in the sunrise. Not because you can see it, but because you can see all it touches." ~C.S. Lewis
When I was in middle school a distant family member had passed away in mexico. Although I personally was not close to this person, my grandmother was. Once she heard the news she told my mother to get ready to take a trip to mexico to visit and be with her family. That same night my mother packed our bags and off we went. Little did I know that this trip would change my life forever.
One of my favorite vacations is getting to go to Las Vegas, Nevada. At the time we went I was only sixteen years old so I could do the fun things like gambling. I did get to do a lot of really cool things though. We did a lot of sightseeing and walking. We went to a super cool aquarium where everything was so pretty and it really looked like you were under water. Also we went to a giant candy store and really good restaurants. I got the amazing opportunity to go to this awesome show called Ka. They did so many cool tricks and the storyline was great. The show didn't have any talking but it did have music which was cool. The cast of the show were very talented they had a ton of acrobatics and really cool costumes. I did a lot of shopping and
In my early teens, my parents and I were on a vacation in Mexico. I remember we hiked up a mountain for nearly forty five minutes to reach our destination. I was so intrigued with all the beautiful green, vivid colors and the flowing river that was running actively. It felt like a scene out of a Tarzan movie. During our journey, I noticed many different plants and trees. I came across a coffee tree, a banana tree, and many other fruit trees such as mango trees. I asked myself how lucky local villagers were to have such a luxury. While we were there, I noticed the air smelled different, and the atmosphere was just right: it felt purified and relaxing. As we traveled up the mountain many of the pathways were very narrow and had these enormous
Although my life is filled with many memorable moments, the one that sticks out in my head is my fun filled vacation to Las Vegas. The moment we stepped off the plane, I could feel the energy pouring from all the tourist, who like myself. Plan to have an experience of a life time. Our hotel room was located on the 37th floor of the New York New York hotel. The view from the room was amazing, out of our side window was a view of the infamous New York New York roller coaster. We could even hear the screams of those bold enough to take that ride. While our main view encompassed a large part of the las vegas blvd strip, with MGM being right across the street. It was never a dull moment, each hotel had its share of entertainment line up, from Micheal Jackson look
