I was walking home down an old dirt road I’d never been down before, after my truck broke down, that's when I started to hear panting and the sound of small foot steps getting closer and closer. I started to walk a little faster since I wasn't looking for any trouble, the next thing I knew I was being grabbed from every direction and a bag was put over my head. Then I was picked up and I could feel what seemed like hundreds of small hands pressing on my back as I was passed down until I was loaded into some sort of wagon or buggy. I held at guard by only two of them as we slowly trotted down the road, I never heard any hoofs on the gravel so I assumed the other tiny handed bandits were pulling the wagon. I started to think about everything that had happened to me so far and it all started coming together, the small …show more content…
I was very confused why I was brought here, and was starting to realize the only adults here were the guests. Then the children got up on a makeshift stage that looked like something out of the “Little Rascals” movie. Then one of the children who seemed to be the leader said to us “I have gathered you all here today to inform you that we know you are interested property in our family's town” then the crowd got a surprised look on their faces as if the child had known they were interested in their property. The leader continued with “I am sorry to inform you all that none of you will become a part of this town, family, or buy any property here because my family doesn't talk to outsiders”. Then the children began to corral all the adults and me, the leader then announced that everyone would be murdered and buried on the land that they were interested in”. The people started to freak out and then I heard gunshots and then I woke up to my alarm clock
On November 19th, 2016, My family and I were going to Western Michigan University. We were heading off to watch the football and hockey game, my father told me it would take a few hours. Hours went flying by it felt like we were in a race car, we finally arrived hours later. We went straight to the dining area, it smelled like fresh made pasta and many more thrilling smells. As we made our way through the crowd, we found a table to sit at. Afterwards when we found a seat, we went darting off in many directions to look at all the food stations. Few minutes passed by when we all swarm like bees back to the table. We all seated and started eating, we talked about what we got for food.
The most important game of the year was coming up and I was ready. Everything was going perfect for me, because I was the starting QB as a freshmen at Englert High School. We were playing Joston High School the number 1 team in the nation since 1960, it was going to be a tough game because they had the number 1 ranked defense, but we had the best offense. The day before the game was just a normal day I went to school and had football practice after school. A couple weeks ago one of the other teams that we had played earlier in the year wanted another game so we decided to play them. They had been the hardest team we had played all year, we had only beat them by a last efforts field goal it hardly went in as it bounced in off the crossbar.
Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 at approximately 4:30 p.m., I Detective L. Donegain was contacted by Sergeant P. Orellano in-reference to a possible overdose at 415 Tradewinds Drive apartment B, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28304. I was advised Patrol Officers were on scene and standing by.
I was ready. This was how we were going to start off the season. Everyone was ready, thinking this was it. We wanted to be the best team on the ice. The coaches came into the room saying, “Let’s go, boys. Let’s start the season off on fire . . . big win today!”
At the beginning of my freshman year I was attempting to develop motivation as well as seeking purpose and determining value. Whether in school or during sports or other activities and events in my life, I was constantly searching for motivation towards a goal or achievement.
Many years have gone by with much contemplation about what I wanted to do when I grew up. Due to my age, that vision has looked like many different professions. I started out with dreams of having an Army career starting at the age of 18, to have that quickly change when my new husband and I found we were expecting our first child. When our commanding officer found out, he spoke to us and explained that both of us could be sent to war at the same time. Rather than deciding which family member to give custody of our child to in that situation, I decided to depart from the Army and start my new journey as “mom”.
Spring rolled around and it was finally time for the first t-ball game of the season. The dandelions were sprouting and the bees were buzzing in the outfield. All twelve players showed up but only half of the team was there to play ball. It was hard to expect six-year olds to have much of an attention span anyway. The ball was hit and began to roll for the outfield. At this very moment the team of twelve became divided. This division separated the team players from the self-servers. Little did I know that my first time on the field would mark the beginning of something so big and influential in my life.
It was a sunny bright Friday afternoon and I was at school. I knew today was going to be the day, the day I get my new bike. After school my dad picked me up and drove home, so I can change out of my uniform and grab something to eat. I remembered my stomach feeling strange, I was so excited getting my new bike that I couldn't even eat. We went back in the car to go to Kmart. Even though Kmart was only like five minutes, it felt like I was in the car forever. I remember I was thinking of all the features my new bike was going to have.
Go back to a time, when smart phones, and laptop were as thick history textbooks. To a time when a whole gallon of gas cost a little more than a dollar. The year is 1998 and in this year I was born. I was given to a very loving mother and father, that with their extraordinary love gave me the unextraordinary name of David. I grew up in the wonderful city of El Paso, Texas.
‘’I was on my way to back to school night I was extremely nervous to meet my teacher and when I got there I heard Andrew then I turned around and…’’ One time when I was in second grade I was on my way to back to school night I went to meet my teacher her name was Ms. Pepler. She was nice at helping me put my stuff in my desk but I thought she would be meaner in the school year so when me and my mom got back in the car I said ‘’I think Ms. pepler is going to be mean this year.’’ My mom said ‘’ she seemed really nice at back to school night’’ then I said maybe you're right.’’ Now it is the first day of school and I was nervous because I thought I had a mean teacher and I didn't have any friends it was just me and my cousin. The first day of
I woke up the next morning hearing whistles blaring and some people pushing us all out. Then I saw another man still laying there and he was dead. So u took everything I could use off of him and bolted for the exit. When we were outside, they randomly selected people to be brought to block 25 which was right across from my shed. In there, there were windows with bars across them and a door only to be opened from the outside. They loaded all the people from every shed that were chosen into the block. In the block, they stayed there until they all starved to death and then it was my job to clean them all out and clear the block for the next killing.
I go to the woods to calm down ,take a break from the drama. My dad used to take me to this special spot where these rocks split and you can stem to the top of them and sit down. For some reason the view and the feel is so peaceful. There's a dip in the rock perfect size for my body. I'll kick back and look up at the sky and sometimes, it’s rare though i’ll listen to music and sometimes fall asleep and when I wake up i'm refreshed and calm. Sometimes i'll stay there after i'm calm and just chill and sometimes if a friend comes over well sometimes go over there and we'll play around on the rocks and talk and after a little bit of hanging out we will go back inside and play my PS4 for a little bit and after the gaming we are still bored we
I hear noises coming from my room, I walk upstairs and see that the door is closed, I peer in, “I don’t know where Donnie is my lord”, Sarah talks into a silver flip up transmitter, “find him, I need him alive” Bob says angrily. I shut the door, but it made a loud sound, Sarah looks over and thinks, oh no, my cover is blown. I walk out to the backyard and stand facing the back fence looking out onto the ocean, thinking how did I miss that she is a cleaner? A few minutes later Sarah comes out and stands next to me, “you had me going when you told me about your dream yesterday” I said, “How can I trust you now?” I continue. “Yes it’s true, I am a cleaner” she admits, “I was going to tell you, I swear Donnie”, “when? Right before you kill me” I asked. “The truth is, I don’t want to be a cleaner anymore, I hate it” she starts to tear up, “and then I met you, and thought my life could be different”, “and I’m supposed to believe that?” I asked, “yes” she answers, I look deep into her eyes and see no trace that she is lying “yes it’s true I was supposed to bring you back to Og to be killed, but I fell in love with you the moment I say you”.
“Don’t be nervous, you’ll be fine!” These were the last words I heard before I got out of the car to walk through those front doors and start my first day of high school. Sure that’s what my mom thought. She’s an innocent five year old –only sees good and that anything is possible. She thinks since I made it this far, nothing could be so erroneous to complicate things and that it should be a breeze. Just four more easy years then I’ll be off to my dream; University of Texas at Austin or Baylor University. What she didn’t apprehend was that I was starting high school with only one person that I knew-Olira.
Since my first day of high school, I have developed into a more responsible and mature person as well as open minded and understanding. Going into high school, I was pretty mature for my age compared to my peers but I was also pretty ignorant about my surroundings and certain situations I would find myself being in. I would even cave in and do things that I wasn't particularly fond of or interested in. Looking back at my past few years, I have gained a lot of experience interacting with people, learned things about myself, and have an insight of what the “real world” is like. I learned how to be my own leader, to be even more independent, and to stand up for myself & not be shut down or ignored. I have overcome different forms of adversity
