My worst fear is getting shots. This arose when I was two years old, and had many visits to the doctor’s office because there were concerns about my respiratory system. I had to have many blood tests, which weren’t only scary, but also were painful. The blood tests came out normal, but it was later discovered I had asthma. After I had a severe reaction to tree nuts at around five, I had to have even more blood tests to determine if I had other allergies.
The second time I went to get blood tests done I knew what was coming. As soon as the nurse turned her back on me I scampered under the table. My mom and the nurse tried to convince me to come out but i refused. They had to drag me out from under the table and hold me down in order to take

They have been to the Super Bowl eight times and have won four times. The Patriots were founded in 1960 by a Boston businessman named Billy Sullivan Jr. The “Boston Patriots” was the fourth attempt at a Professional Football team in Boston, following the Boston Bulldogs, Boston Redskins and Boston Yanks. The Patriots first year roster was full of NFL misfits and as expected struggled through most of the beginning years. The Patriots had some success in the 1970s, but then went 1-15 (one win fifteen losses) in the 1990 season. The franchise changed ownership three times within the next six years. Then the Patriots' current coach, Bill Belichick, was hired in 2000, and a new home field, Gillette Stadium, was opened in …show more content…
______________________________________________________________________________ My happy place is Sunapee, NH. There is both a lake for swimming and a mountain for skiing. We spend the majority of our summers in Sunapee and do all sorts of activities like going on our boat, mountain biking, and just hanging out by the beach. We purchased a condo in Sunapee NH at the North end of the lake four years ago. Since then we have gone skiing every winter at Mount Sunapee. My family has gone skiing at Mount Sunapee almost every weekend for four years, but we had gone skiing there with our cousins before we had bought the house. Mount Sunapee is just a 90 minute drive northeast of Boston. The mountain has an average snowfall of 100 inches, which is almost double Sudbury's 51. The mountain has ten lifts and 61 trails covering a massive 233 acres of terrain. The mountain’s summit elevation of 2,743 feet and its longest trail, “ridge”, is 2 miles long. This connects Valley Forge because there the American troops faced brutal weather like my happy place does as shown by having double the amount of snowfall Sudbury
They say that there is nothing to fear but fear itself, yet I tend to disagree. Our world is packed full of things to be afraid of. As a child, we are afraid of the dark or monsters hiding underneath our beds; but, as we grow with wisdom and age, those fears become bigger and more worldly. We fear things like terrorism or illness. The fear that consumes me most is that my best might never be enough.
My favorite place to be would be the city and are of McGregor Minnesota. About eight miles north of the small town is Big Sandy Lake, which is where my cabin is located. This is truly my favorite place to be, especially during the warm summer months.
“Including playoff games, no team over a long term has averaged as many wins as New England, 13.8, in a season. The Patriots’ 13.8 wins is a full win better, on average, In 16 seasons beginning in 2001, New England has won five Super Bowls and 14 division titles. ” It is one accomplishment to win in the regular season and be dominant when the games don't mean as much, however when the lights are bright and all eyes, cameras, and spectators are watching you on the biggest stage in the National Football League and you deliver with wins consistently is a testament to the strength and unbelievable coaching by Bill
Boston Patriots signed their first QB Harvey White to contract on December 20, 1959. They appointed there first head coach Lou Saban on February 1960. The Boston patriots who later changed there name to The New England patriots on November 16, 1959 is owned by a local business group led by William H. Sullivan known by his peers as “Billy”. The patriots would become the eighth a final franchise in the new American football league.
Sunday, November 3, 2013 is a day that I remember so vividly. It was the day of my first ever Patriots game. I grew up surrounded by Patriots fans, my mom, my
We went to ER and got to see a baby get drawn from his arm the parents were upset because it was the second time they had to draw his blood. The dad stepped out and the mom stayed and helped hold the baby down. There was a patient with shingles that I only got to see from outside but the phlebotomist showed
The Carolina Panthers are coming into the 2015 season with great momentum with back-to-back division championships under their belt. This off-season has been very successful in keeping the core together in signing quarterback Cam Newton and linebacker Thomas Davis to contract extensions. The best part of the off-season to me was the front office being proactive in addressing our weaknesses and providing Cam Newton with more weapons to play with.
It was a peaceful morning in Trenton, New Jersey when I was introduced to the world as Mary Ludwig on October 13, 1754, also known as Molly Pitcher and Sergeant Molly.
As I was sitting in the blistering hot sun in the middle of a Monday (that i requested off of work, without pay mind you) in the stands at the Dallas Cowboys training camp to watch a scrimmage between my most beloved boys in blue and that "other " team. I looked around and saw the hundreds of other people there as well, with my exact plan in mind. To sit back and scope out the Dallas Cowboys of the 2015 season. Some of them out there proving they have earned their star. It was at that moment I realized, even though we all have the same vision for our boys we all choose to get through our season differently. Some are optimists and some are realists. Some are pessimists and some are living
Another divisional matchup, another chance to turn our season around, another loss! I am afraid we can now officially kiss this season good bye, especially since Winston has not been playing well at all and is now out for a couple of games because of his shoulder injury.
Ever since Belichick and Tom Brady have been working together starting in 2001, the Patriots have had 14 consecutive winning seasons, 22 postseason victories, 6 Super Bowl appearances, and 4 Super Bowl wins. It is now harder than ever to stay atop of the NFL, with many star players opting for pricier contracts from other teams, yet the Patriots have found a way to consistently beat other teams for more than a decade. Furthermore, the Patriots have found ways to win despite major injuries from Tom Brady, maybe the greatest quarterback of all
What is your biggest fear? In the nonfiction story Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer climbing to the top of Mount Everest is his biggest dream but also their greatest fear. The intense journey of climbing up and ascending down the mountain Krakauer and his climbing companions push through many obstacles including nature, their mind, and fear. Fear is a common theme in Into Thin Air it also occurs in the novel The Alchemist. Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist is an inspiring story about a boy named Santiago. He has a recurring dream about going to the pyramids to find his treasure. He goes on a long journey to follow his dreams and also struggles with the obstacle of fear along the way. Fear becomes a big obstacle for Santiago and Krakauer in reaching
North of Michigan is the best place to ski because north of Michigan is beautiful.
My biggest fear in life is failure. I always try to prove myself to others and make sure that I can get the task done on the first try. In life, there will always be mistakes made and that is where I am still learning. The fear of upsetting someone because of my own optimal performance can be a positive objective to overcome. Once I overcome that fear I have more choices to do what I want instead of what others want me to do.
Another huge fear of mine are thugs. Thugs are so scary it's unbelievable. In the hallways of E.C. Glass, thugs are the people who have baggy clothing and a lot of "bling" which usually means they sold drugs to get it. Thugs are so violent, I don't even want to get near them. They're also very territorial. I stepped on a thug's Jordan shoes one time, and I prayed that I wouldn't get shot. When I took D.A.R.E. in elementary school, I was taught that thugs are even more violent than gangsters. I wouldn't want to be near a gangster let alone a thug. Like computer viruses, thugs can take a lot of money away from people.
