The best thing that ever happened to me is when my baseball team beat Brandon Valley for the first place position in regionals. Brandon Valley was our rivals and we hated each other for not really any reason. We knew at the start of the game that winning this would put us in first place. We had lost to Brandon Valley twice before but they were beatable. It was a home game near the end of July and sunny. The conditions were great for baseball. Our nerves were high and waiting for the game to start seemed like an eternity. Finally the game started and we played well and so did they. The game was close the whole way threw and we came to the final inning tying them. We were the home team so we got to bat last. Two of the three outs
After my win, my team was lined up to congratulate me; I was the only member from our team to pin their opponent. The feeling of the referee raising my arm was one of the, if not, the best overwhelming feeling I've ever felt in my life. Knowing that I won that match on my own gave me great confidence that I was just as good as anyone
The most memorable thing that happened to me would have to be when I got to see my favorite sports team play, the Detroit Tigers. This was my first time ever watching them play and I was excited to see what I was about to encounter. It was a hot summer day when we went to Comerica Park, when we went to go see them play. Our seats we right on the first base line, a perfect spot for a foul ball to come my way. The Tigers were winning throughout the whole game up on the last inning Miguel Cabrera hit a walk off home run that won them the game. Going to the game was a great opportunity for me to get to see the skills and work that they put into the game. This helped me see just how important it is to work as a team and support each other on and
You don't hear everyday a high school team winning state championships that often, but at Archbishop Wood it's sort of common. I proudly can say I am one of the few that has not one, but two state championship rings under my belt. As a sophomore AND a junior in high school, my basketball team accomplished being State Champions two years in a row. The first year we won was one of the best experiences of being apart of a team. After losing in the state championship the year before, we knew we had to somehow get back the next year and make sure we'd come out with the trophy. As the new season began in November of 2016, we played in the Nike tournament of champions in Arizona. The trip was one of the most memorable trips ever with the best group of girls. We had a blast,
I was walking off of the field with my teammates after two blowouts. In Steamboat on the second day. All of us were so excited to get to the pool and have some fun! Me and my baseball teammate that I was staying with meet each other there. We hurried downstairs put on our swimsuits and before you can blink we were in the water. When everybody was in the pool and before you knew it we were playing 500 with the football. After we did that for a couple of hours we went to got to the hot tub and that's when everything went bad. We had our older teammates brother which was 16. We saw some other kids in the hot tub. Then we went in and then Kelin the 16 year old said,” What are you guys here for?”
One of the proudest moments in my life is when I hit a homerun that won the game for my baseball team. I just completed the sixth grade and was looking forward to baseball season with my friends that summer. I was so happy we were all on the same team, the Red Wings. I was playing second base, and for the first time, I felt confident about my position. I didn’t let a ball get past me. I was catching and throwing that ball like a pro. In addition, I was hitting balls like never before, and scoring runs for the team. For the first time since T ball I felt like a real star!
I woke up the morning of September 12th to the blasting sound of the song Rebel March, a tradition my roommate and I have started. I jumped out of bed and put on my navy blue sundress; I knew it was going to be a perfect game day.
In summer 2015 my brother had a baseball tournament in Branson, Missouri. So our family drove to Branson and went to Sam’s first game. After the first game we went to check into the hotel, and our parents said they had a surprise for us.
One day we had a softball game against Arcadia. It was nice outside. Everyone was happy to play that day.
The most exciting moment was probably last year when I won conference. It was just a great feeling to beat somebody who I knew was also really good, and then just celebrate with my teammates and coaches afterwards.
We ended up going down and scoring a touchdown and tieing the game at 7-7. We couldn't have been on defense for much more than a minute if not
On time my grandma had to take me to my softball game because my mom was at school. This was the best softball game ever. So this score was 5 to 3 and the other team was winning. But we had no hope because I was last up to bat and I have never hit a ball in a real game before. Number 01 ( my friend) was second to last and she hit the ball to third base and went onto second base.
It all started in early november when i walked in the front office and went to the principal
We were on a roll until. “Get Baacckkk Nooo.” We all yelled Brady got called out at the plate and then Pavel just tried to run to third when someone was already on the base. We blew that inning and the score is still 1-0. It was the last inning top 6 and we were up. We strung a few hits and then “Strike 3!!!” it was over we lost after the amazing no-hit performance by me and Will it was all over. Balling all our eyes out we stood there waiting to go see our parents.
My favorite moment was in the gym when my class got to play. In my gym class I saw many of my friends from last year in sixth grade. We decided to play a 3-on-3 game of basketball. Donovan and Marcus were team captains Donovan picked Jaden and I and Marcus picked Brandon and Charles. So we started playing and Marcus’s team got ball because Jaden picked first, So Marcus passed the ball inbound to Brandon and Brandon dribbled down court for a layup. POW! Jaden blocked Brandon’s shot and it went flying to Donovan, then Donovan ran down the court dribbling and got an easy layup the score was 2-0. Charles passed it inbound to Marcus and Marcus passed it back to Charles and Charles called for a screen and Brandon set one and Charles got open at
The game was against Helias and it started out great! We caught the ball, we had good throws, and our pitching was fantastic! We were the home team so we had the field first. But as soon as we started getting into about the sixth inning is where everything went bad all at once. There were bases loaded, no outs. We were at the bottom of the lineup, but starting to get to the top. One of our girls came up to bat and eventually strikes out, but as soon as they struck one of us out, the catcher
