People are in danger if action is not taken soon everything will be lost. Global warming and the runaway greenhouse effect is real and dangerous. The greenhouse effect, which normally preserves life, is too powerful; it not longer acts to preserve the Earth but will destroy it. In order to secure a positive future for the current generation and beyond global warming needs to be understood and stopped.
In order for people to rally together and help it must be universally accepted that there is a problem. Obviously the temperature changes throughout the year, however a change that remains constant, the lower threshold rising is a problem, “The planet's average surface temperature has risen about 2.0 degrees Fahrenheit (1.1 degrees Celsius) since the late 19th century, a change driven largely by increased carbon dioxide and other human-made emissions into the atmosphere.” (“Climate change: How do we know?”). The ever rising climate change causes many issues for humans and other species, not yet but soon the world will see as many species suffer from lack of habitable climate. The people of this world need to ban together to change their ways, this isn't something that can be ignored or the losses will start to show. Evidence that global warming occurs can come in many types of data, some of which has been collected by “NASA’s Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment [that] show[s] Greenland lost 150 to 250 cubic kilometers of ice” (”Climate change: How do we know?”). The
Global Warming is a major world problem that we have but people don’t seem to realize that and it may end all life on earth as we know it. We are causing many problems to the earth that we don’t realize what we are doing we may think everything is ok but it’s not. Global warming is all our fault and we need to stop!
We might disagree on the causes of global warming; however, we cannot ignore that it is happening. Although we still experience cold winters, average global temperatures has risen drastically for the past three decades. Polar ice caps are melting; as a result, sea levels are rising. Scientist predict more extreme weather in the coming decades, in fact, droughts will probably be more common. Also, flooding and tropical temperatures might cause large amounts of methane gases to be released, which could be disastrous for our atmosphere. Climate change may have human causes and also it might be a natural occurrence. Nevertheless, we must find ways to save our planet.
Climate change is known as one of the greatest threats to the planet. It is not only a threat to the planet environmentally, but it is a threat socially and economically. As we all could feel, see, and know, the weather patterns globally and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere have been increasing over an extended period of time. Although it may seem like it’s not a dramatic change since it is data from over a large amount of time, it is considering the fact that the large amount of time is not that large as it should be. Climate change is nothing new to us. It’s happened many years ago in the past because a variety of reasons but as the years go on, the rate on charts are just getting higher. As much as I would like to blame this predicament on nature, humans has a fault as well. We release thousands of greenhouse gases into the air through many procedures, but there are things that we cannot entirely control. However, whoever’s fault it is to blame I believe that if we work together and think we will more likely be able to find effective solutions for this problem.
Climate change is a real problem facing our world with all of the progression of today’s society. The amount of Greenhouse Gas emissions has gone up drastically in the past one hundred years alone. The use of transportation, industry, electricity and the deprivation of the world's natural resources has increased the amount of Carbon Dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere. The Environmental Protection Agency has shown an increase in the Earth's temperature by 0.8 degrees C in the past century alone. It is proven that humans are the cause of global warming but it is not too late to change how we are.
Climate change. It has been on all of our minds as more and more controversy and panic are induced by new data being collected all the time. The very thought of it as the truth begins to fade into the foreground is enough to make many people sick. As this problem begins to take political forefronts, the question is, what are we going to do about it? Fortunately, public opinion and political concern as it has in the past and still does, has motivated individuals and even entire nations to take action against the upcoming threat. However, not all individuals are open to the truth of the existence and significance of climate change.
One of the most controversial and hot buzzer topics of today would be that of global warming. Although many believe global warming is real to some extent, it is a debated topic because just as many people believe that it is a fabricated government sham. Despite differing public opinion, "Ninety-seven percent of climate scientists agree that climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities, and most of the leading scientific organizations worldwide have issued public statements endorsing this position." (NASA) Considering this, global climate is very much a real occurrence due human presence on this earth, which is made evident through the increase in extreme weather patterns, the rise in carbon dioxide emissions
Global warming is one of the biggest threats to our planet. The temperature of our planet is increasing because of all the pollution and human activities that causes the climate temperature to change. The most to concede is the increase of seawater level. The clear majority of the coastal cities will be in danger and a few nations may vanish. The increase in temperature will soon melt the ice in the North and South pole. The worldwide increase in temperature is getting worse. The risk of global warming has raised concerns as it is ceaselessly causing harm to the earth in the form of heat waves. Studies have shown that last year’s average global surface temperature, complied from measurements made by thousands of weather stations, buoys, and ships, was 1.69 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than the 20th century average (NOAA). It is because of us that we are causing this planet to have global warming. Carbon dioxide is what warms our planet, we have increased the amount of the air by nearly half, mostly since the 1960s (NOAA). Global warming is as of now having significant and exorbitant impact and these results will just intensify as the planet's temperature keeps on rising.
Global warming has been an increasing problem throughout the world. Over the years people have worried about the situation and tried to come up with ways to solve the situation. What exactly is global warming, and how could we stop it?
Global warming is happening now, and will keep on happening until we choose to stop it. The future of our planet is in our hands. If we don’t stop it now, any life on earth could potentially be whipped out. Some ways that you can make a difference is by, recycling, using less heat and air conditioning, driving less, buying energy-efficient products, using less hot water, and planting a
Global warming has done to certain places. Although not all places feel the change it’s
Mike Huckabee once quoted; “The most important thing about global warming is this. Whether humans are responsible for the bulk of climate change is going to be left to the scientists, but it’s all our responsibility to leave this planet in better shape for the future generations than we found it.” I have travelled back in time to warn you guys that Global warming DOES exists. In fact, global warming is a huge issue. We need your help to take care of our planet for the sake of our future generations.
Considering this statistic, “Since the last Ice Age ten thousand years ago, average global temperatures have risen about 9 degrees Fahrenheit. Over the last century, however, the pace of Global warming has accelerated, with temperatures worldwide increasing 1.3 degrees Fahrenheit in the last one hundred years(Global Warming). ”The earth’s population is about 7 billion, of the many people, a few are realizing the dramatic changes of the temperature and taking it into consideration. If nothing is done about the situation, it will only get worse . Although Global warming is controversial and people still deny the fact that it exists, there has been research that proves that this phenomenon is in fact happening.
Many people simply don’t believe global warming is a serious problem. The president, Donald Trump, even has mixed feelings on the topic. In 2012, he made a comment that he fears global warming was made up to negatively impact United States manufacturing. However, he has since said he is open-minded on the issue and will look into it. Global warming is not simply an American problem but a global issue, and something must indeed be done. The rising temperatures have already caused numerous negative effects on the environment, but the temperatures could potentially cause negative effects on the human population as
It’s the favorite topic of politicians and news reporters: global warming. There are people who believe it’s true and others that believe it’s hype. But every day there is another fact that makes you think about the impact it may have on your life, like this month when NASA scientists reported that June of 2017 was the fourth warmest June in 137 years of record keeping. We forget that the same issues we face have more risks to wildlife. It’s becoming more well known that global warming is altering our wildlife and we must confront it before the effects are irreversible.
Global warming has been an on-going issue for many decades. Most people would argue that it is a hoax; while others argue it is true. Climate change can cause a domino effect of catastrophes throughout the world. Once it affects one group, then that affected group will affect another, and so on and so forth; like a plague. Global warming is an authentic problem and we need to find more efficient ways to eliminate it, or at least contain it.
