According to the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sports Psychology, Sports Psychology is the study of psychological and mental factors that influence, and are influenced by participation and performance in sport, exercise, and physical activity. In the society, many people consider themselves as a fan of at least one sport. Most of the players in sports begin their career because it is enjoyable. However, as they join a team and take part in a bigger league, the pressure to win the game increases; with this pressure increase, the athletes look for more ways to win the game and to improve their performance. Jingcheng Li, a researcher from the Capital College of Physical Education in Beijing, China, believes that athletes need psychological help to reduce their pressure before important games. Along with the rising attention and pressure to sports, Sports Psychology is now gaining popularity among the teams.
