Advancement from tools like the horse for transportation to an ingeniously built machine that can transport most things ludicrously faster at the cost of requiring, essentially, dead dinosaurs to fuel it, has revolutionized the world. These inventions and innovations have created a lot of positive results. Some might argue that the negative externalities created outweigh the positive results; however, a broader outlook of the situation will discard that argument. Advancements of medicine, food, morals, and intellectuality have risen us far past the “apex” title we claimed long ago. The Industrial Revolution was a blessing due to mankind’s increased effectiveness of utilizing Earth’s resources. From malaria to the common flu, worldwide inventions and innovations in the medical field have obliterated much of the concern of these diseases. Surprisingly enough, the “porcelain throne” has more of an impact on your life, and the life of many others, than you may have originally considered. Deadly faecal-diseases like diarrhoea cause, as stated by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) in their article Diarrhea: Common Illness, Global Killer, “Diarrhea kills 2,195 children every day—more than AIDS, malaria, and measles combined” Innovations, like the “porcelain throne”, prevent the likelihood of contracting these kinds of diseases. Another example of an ingenious medical invention would be the vaccine, which substantially helped reduce the spread of illness. Some

The Industrial Revolution brought about a more advanced era with lasting effects. Due to these effects, we can live easier, more comfortable lives that last longer and are, in comparison, far better. Some of these effects are still evident today. However, not all of them were positive, nor were all of them negative. Industrialization’s positive effects included better business, a ready workforce, and more efficient machines, production, and transportation.
The Second Industrial Revolution was sparked by the creation of the railroad. During the Civil War, railroads existed and were helpful in bringing supplies to troops, but they weren’t very reliable as they would only go on for as long as the owner of the railroad had land. When the owner of the railroad ran out of land, the railroad would end, and people would have to move the things from the railroad to another railroad. People did realize, however, how well a railroad could work if they were all connected. They found that they could make money from the people using their railroad and riding on the trains, and soon people connected their local railroads together. Railroad barons, like Cornelius Vanderbilt, bought small railroads from

The Industrial Revolution was a good struggle that Britain had to go through. There were many endeavors that Britain faced. Britain’s Industrial Revolution was a positive outcome that had many negative attributes. Britain’s battle would be similar to running a cross-country race. During a race, you face many labors that you have to go through. Some of these would be feeling too tired, having pain in your legs, or feeling like you want to give up. Compared to Britain, these difficulties that someone has during a race are the hazardous factories or the unsafe working conditions in the coal mines.
The Industrial Revolution not only changed business and economics, but urban lifestyle. The changes occurring were mostly negative, however, and constructed a need for reform. These were times where the product and consumer demand drove business, not socialist working reforms This is all best seen in Manchester where worker’s living conditions deteriorated to improve the business until they were initially met with meager reform, all while the city kept expanding to accomodate. The worker’s living conditions largely deteriorated as Manchester was forced to expand.
England's previous success from the Agricultural Revolution gave leeway to the Industrial Revolution of the seventeenth and eighteenth hundreds. Previous landowners and investors of the Agricultural Revolution were able to start or participate Corporations and Businesses to seek great profit. New machinery and technological innovations were frequent due to the demand for faster, more efficient technology. Working class families, who were arguably the sole reason for the grand success of the Industrial Revolution, moved from their farms into crowded and dirty urban towns to work long hours in harsh factories for little pay in hopes of one day living a decent life, while the middle class gained many luxuries and lived lavish lifestyles
Because of the inventions of railroads, “going to San Francisco from New York City took only six days”, when before “the trip took months” (Document 5). The invention of the railroad allowed for people to visit relatives, work farther away, and even travel for fun. It allowed for a deep change in how society made it from one place to another, and once again stressed the improvement in efficiency Industrialization brought. Industrialization also brought improvement in living conditions, as because of technological advancements, “houses [were] better built” (Document 9). Living conditions were bettered through technological advances such as the introduction of steel reinforcement and fire escapes. Living became easier and safer, and people no longer had to fear for their safety when just trying to live. Because of these technological advances, people now had “an infinite number of domestic utensils” (Document 9). Living not only became easier, but fun as well as those who would stay at home and work now had easier ways to cook, clean, and function. This would forever shape the world, as these domestic utensils would be forever used in daily life. Industrialization greatly impacted the world through technology, and it can be agreed that it had a greatly positive impact on

These remain just minor parts of the Industrial Revolution. The reasons that the Industrial Revolution was a positive thing was that it had laws that improved working conditions, production had increased, and merchandise became cheaper.
The Industrial Revolution had many positive and negative impacts on society. The positive include cheaper clothes, more job opportunities, and improvement in transportation.
