When there is darkness there is light on the horizon. People may believe that President Trump will be somewhat of a war hawk when it comes to maintaining or even growing the United States nuclear arsenal. However, history has shown us that presidents may not be as hawkish as they are perceived to be. “United States President Ronald Regan became the unlikely champion of the nuclear disbarment agenda.” (Futter 176) Some say that Regan took a risky and aggressive posture towards the Soviet Union a few years back.
The 2016 Presidential Election has been filled with large amount of controversy and drama. The two candidates, Hillary Clinton for the democratic party, and Donald Trump for the Republican party, each have a list of questionable acts. The two come from different walks of life and both have different views on how America could better herself. As voting time approaches it is time to look at all our candidates have given us so that a decision can be reached. By going back into their backgrounds, considering their proposed policies, and who has been funding their campaign, the most suitable candidate should be uncovered.
Donald Trump is not a huge fan of Super PAC's but he may be now because one backed his ideas up with a campaign ad. The Great America PAC released an ad on Thursday showing that Cruz (Trump's biggest competition) is seeking to give amnesty to illegal immigrants and allow more Syrian refugees into the United States. Trump has repeatedly bashed super PAC’s because they are funded by special interests. Trump says that he is self-funding his campaign. In the article, Jesse Benton said that despite Trump's disavowal, "we have seen such a huge groundswell of Americans that want to help grow the movement around the Trump campaign that we felt compelled to lay the groundwork for the outside effort Republicans will need to win the White House and lengthen
Donald Trump cannot be the next President of the United States, Hillary has to be. His economic agenda, dangerous rhetoric, sexist remarks, hateful attitude towards Muslims and Mexicans, denial about climate change, and his inability to address the issues the LGBTQ community faces are several reasons he is unfit to be considered the leader of the country. Trump has also been involved in a huge amount of state and federal lawsuits. Hillary has been involved in lawsuits herself, handled situations poorly and has made judgement calls that have been questionable, but these cons are outweighed by Trump’s cons immensely. Trump’s shady past reveals a selfish man who has partaken in actions Americans would all come together and agree are inexcusable
Over the last several years our country has been dealt many unpleasant situations, and has had many unpleasant situations trust upon it. From school shootings, to Isis and all the troubling situations in-between, we have dealt with quit a bit as a nation. But in my opinion, president Obama is at the forefront of many issues facing Americans today. He has continuously defiled the American constitution, kept secret agendas not in the favor of the American public and led this country like a ballerina managing a steel mill. With his mounting entitlement programs, his push to raise the minimum wage, and Obama care, we can’t endure much more. We are currently $16.85 trillion dollars in debt and that number is only rising, in addition, according to an ABCnews/Washing post survey, his approval rating is at an all time low of 40%. He is America’s
Yet another in a growing number of country's who don't want to work with Trump. Even the N.K. leader sees through Trump's crap.
With the presidential inauguration just days away, the second part of this Chinese proverb highlights the most disconcerting part of our recent election. Trump’s win implies that over half of our compatriots were truly looking for this kind of change, and personally I find that quite troubling. Not only because my friends who are illegal immigrants, females who face losing their current reproductive rights, or LGBT face an – to say the least – uncertain future; what is most worrying to me is how Trump found himself waiting to be sworn into the most powerful appointment in the free world. His long road to the oval office began decades ago, with the globalization of our
Donald Trump was inaugurated as President of the United States of America on January 20, 2017 after one of the most controversial campaigns the U.S. has ever witnessed. Upon acquiring this role, Mr. Trump also acquired control over an entire arsenal of advanced weaponry. This arsenal includes several nuclear weapons. Among other things, President Trump’s control and decisiveness concerning these weapons have been called to question. The editorial board at The New York Times addressed concern on this topic on February 6, 2017, in an article titled, “The Finger on the Nuclear Button”. The article is comprised of opinions that the newly elected president’s decision-making and “little knowledge of the vast nuclear arsenal” are a dangerous combination.
Have you ever felt the entire world stop for a second, but it feels like a millennium? That feeling can be described when Donald Trump was officially elected as President of the United States of America. It has almost been a year since and the words still sound laughable. It is kind of crazy to see the multi-million-dollar business become the president. He had no knowledge of any of the rules and politics and he used white supremacy as his foundation of his campaign. It seems weird that America voted him as president. The media had a feeding frenzy over him winning. Everyone had an opinion. Its was massive. Everyone was in shock and are still in shock with all the things he is getting away with. Nevertheless, major newspapers wrote about the election of Donald Trump the day before and after following the presidential elections. It has been chaotic.

It has since become one of the nation's most talked about and controversial topics. Though there isn't a legal aspect to it, this dispute has divided households into two. Those against players taking a knee during the national anthem during broadcasts sporting events and games will argue that is disrespectful to the U.S flag and troops. Participating players and supporters of this say it is a peaceful protest aimed at those who don't treat people of color as equals, and is in no way meant to be disrespectful or offencive to the country's heros. The average American has expressed their opinion on the matter, among government officials and some of the most influential people in America. Due to this protest, the NFL has experienced a change in ratings, and provoked a nationwide disagreement.
Under Donald Trump's presidency, America has been greatly affected by his irrational decisions . He has had a negative impact on both our nation and worldwide. By trying to “terminate” both the Iran deal and DACA plan to making racist comments. President Trumps Actions are truly unthinkable.

Now it is the year twenty-seventeen, and many Haitians who started a new life here, are being asked to go back to their country, some with no place to go. On May twenty-second, President Trump's administration, limited the protected status for Haitians to six months. Before the six months deadline, the United States should carefully plan the outcomes of their decisions, before many Haitians have to end their life here.
Now that Donald Trump is officially in office, he has declared his plans to repeal the works of our previous president, Barack Obama. One of his many targets is DACA. DACA was established to aid individuals who came to the U.S. illegally providing insurance, licenses, permits, etc. Trump has stated his efforts to remove DACA, putting 800,000 individuals at risk of deportation. The externalities of removing a program such as DACA, not only negatively affects those under it, but the overall economy.
