The genre of the book is realistic fiction. What made this book a good quality realistic fiction book is. That the things going on in the book could actually happen, focus on relationships, and the characters were realistic. The book is for advanced reader, I felt that it was apposite for the age group. Since the text was much more advanced, it had storylines that younger children could not understand. The book talked about controversial issues such as race. Which was a big theme in the book since Dess is white and living in a black foster family. This book would be something that children who are living in mixed families, foster care, or step-families. Would be interested in and would appeal to them more. Not saying that other children would
Have you ever been in a difficult situation where you have to confess, and tell the truth and nothing but the truth. In the story Red kayak Ben DiAngelo and Mrs. DiAngelo, (Ben’s mother), go out kayaking in their red kayak. But it just so happens that Digger ( a kid that hates their guts for buying his grandfather’s farm and changing up the whole area) drills holes through their kayak and they sink. Ben ends up dying but his mother makes it through. Later on the main character Brady, (who baby sat for Ben DiAngelo, and went out to save him and he still died) found out that his two best friends J.T. and Digger were involved in the terrible event/crime, and he had a hard time telling the truth throughout the novel because he was to afraid to turn them in. Realistic fiction is a genre where a novel or story has events that could happen in real life. In order for a story to be considered realistic fiction, it should include the elements of realistic fiction. For example authentic characters are characters that are convincingly developed, multi-dimensional, and show growth over time. Credible events are conflicts or problems that could occur in the real world. Real settings are settings that are vividly portrayed and that could exist in the real world. True-to-life themes are memorable themes that could be applied to one's own life. The last element a realistic fictional story should include is believable dialogue. Believable dialogue contains realistic conversations that help
The genre is Fiction. This book is written in a very unique style, in that it switches point of view from Craig to Lio alternately, voicing their thoughts directly, just the way they think them. It makes it so much fun to read, because you don't feel like you're getting a narrator's side of the story. You're right in the action.

The walls of the dumpster return and close in on Marcus. Collapsing his world, compacting it into a dark and dirty hovel.
Type of Book: Fiction. People who like comedies and romance would like this book. I also think that people with problems similar to Craig’s would like this book a lot. Being able to relate to a book about a serious topic and still being able to laugh is pretty cool. The book is up front about real problems kids face but it is still a good story with humor.
In conclusion, I found this project to be somewhat difficult. I think this is mostly due to the fact that I have never met Alex before and know relatively little about him. This would include a more detailed list of his interests and the past books he has read and his feedback on them. This made the book section process to be challenging because we were instructed to find a book that was age appropriate, in one of the four needed categories and that must have been selected and supported by more than one reason or rationale. How I went about my book selection process was I went to my local library and first narrowed down my search by deciding which category the book was going to fall into, nonfiction, multicultural etc. Then I began to look
Who would do something like that? She never hurt anyone. She was a good person. Why would anyone hurt her?

After he sits with outside with them for a while, Blake sighs unusually loud and says “Alright, I’m ready”
Shelby gripped the balloon handles even tighter. “Actually, I think we were supposed to think too.”
“That’s okay. I’m Dylan. Dylan Siro,” he said, nodding his head with a polite smile. “Oh and you’re going to need this.” He stuck his hand in his boot, pulled something shiny out, and placed it in my hand. The heavy object he gave me was a small plasma pistol. I didn’t know much about the weapons we brought with us, but one thing I did know was that the plasma guns were the most destructive.
A family of four woke up one morning and they were very bored. After having breakfast and watching television for a couple of hours, they decided that they wanted to go camping. They then packed their bags and loaded everything and everyone into the car, to go drive and look for a nice place to stay. They found a nice little cabin that fit the four of them. Once they cleaned up the cabin they went out to keep warm around the campfire.
