1. WHAT ABOUT JESUS?
It was a perfect spring afternoon. We stood outside in front of the church doors. When the pastor finished reading Epiphany he looked at me and asked, “What about Jesus? He looked with great reverence and endowed the new message with exalted esteem.
Now that the new message for the world is here many Christians will ask themselves that very same question, “What about Jesus?” No one saw this coming. Caught by surprise and stunned, they are perplexed and feel naïve as they are amazed by the preeminence

Throughout history many messages have been lost and forgotten. At the end of their journey they pass the baton, and from the settling dust emerges a new message for the world. With the advent of a new message, many if not all of the elements in the old messages are now obsolete. Today we begin de novo. Today we start with a new message for the people of this generation.
Many old books are guides of sorts with fables and stories. These great books were meant to be read by those intelligent enough separate metaphor from reality. If you interpret the texts literally the writings are flat and one dimensional, limited by measurements applied by logic. When you read the writings figuratively you breathe life into them, they are full of color, three dimensional, and flexible. You need to develop the ability to interpret narratives both literally and figuratively, and know the difference. Extrapolate and expand upon their meaning substituting ideas from the past with concepts of

6. WHAT IS DEATH?
Death is the transition from corporeal to non-corporeal. The body becomes a part of the planet and the acorporeal becomes a part of the universe.
7. WHAT SHOULD I BELIEVE?

Develop the message – messages are tailored and developed to specific audiences. When preparing messages it is important to think about who the message is for, what you want the message to receive and what you want the recipient to do as a result of the message.
Were it not for the power that Jesus inherited from His Father, His great sacrifice would not have been possible. On the night Jesus was betrayed, He took three of the Twelve and went into the place called Gethsemane. It was there He suffered the pains of all men. He suffered as only God could suffer, bearing our griefs, carrying our sorrows, being wounded for our transgressions, voluntarily submitting Himself to the iniquity of us all, just as Isaiah prophesied. It was in Gethsemane where Jesus took on Himself the sins of the world, in Gethsemane where His pain was equivalent to the cumulative burden of all men, in Gethsemane where He descended below all things so that all could repent and come to Him. Jesus was ordered to carry the crossbeam
Message: That we need to stay open minded and allow people to get to know you rather than trying to be noticed as somebody you’re not.
The Gospels of Jesus tell a story that is a unified story over the four gospels. Each of the four writers had their own point of view that they were writing from. Just a four journalists covering an important story will write from their own point of view
A question I would ask after reading, “Is crucified Jesus who they’ve really been waiting for?” This is something that they will come to know that he was the one who saved them. Jesus is just completely remarkable to me in knowing that he gave up His own life, so that I could live mine freely. All of this leads us into the world in front of the text by way of our actions as individuals who follow Christ’s message and His promises to us. It also beings us to being evangelists like Mark, to share the “Good News” of Christ’s work and message to all

friends. Their speaking in foreign tongues became their badge of honor. Competitiveness emerged to see who was more orthodox and more gentle and humble. All their time was devoted to performing good deeds as hurriedly as possible, not wanting their consecration to be challenged. One easy method to prove their devotion was to discover those in hiding without the mark and reveal them to the police. Everyone believed it a duty to report to authorities anyone not giving their loyalty to sweet Jesus. When such sinful people refused to repent, and were publicly executed, Christians of the world shook their heads in disbelief. They could not imagine the extent of the depth of a fallen nature capable of blinding people to such ruin.
The Jesus Paper. Question 1. John’s purpose in writing the gospel is so that people might believe “that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing, [one] may have life in his name” (Jn. 20:31). So, the essential identity of Jesus is “the Christ” which is a Greek word for “chosen one” or “anointed one.”
Message for Contemporary Audience: What is the message of our passage for a contemporary audience?
One person both fully human and fully divine. Divine means to be love. Love has power of its own. So why does He matter? Is he is the savior or a healer of humanity? Why does Jesus's death in cross buys us. Human salvation can come under god. If Jesus came to us and was not real human being, it could have been very easy for him to solve the problem that world was facing. God had to become real human being to show us what we got and how it was done. God is love. The primary quality of God is fundamental reality of love. We are finite, limited to the time we have taken that and fit in a box. We shape God into a person. There are three different ways that Christian’s perspective describes Christ for salvation; which are exclusivism, multiple mediation and inclusivism. If Jesus is truly human being. What do we know about human psychology?
A mentor who tries to help his people improve themselves does not do so to demean them; neither does God, for he is humanity’s greatest mentor and guidance. God simply wants his Creations to be filled with goodness and to follow the path of righteousness. Jesus’ perfect humanity does not demean people in any way, as it is meant to act as an example that people should try and emulate and obtain as their own goodness.
In this section we will explore the different proposals to the issue of the humanity and divinity of Jesus (the horizontal axis), which was later classified as heresies, and the orthodox positions defined by the Council of Nicea convened to settle this issue (refer to Lesson 5 for discussion on Docetism).
I am going to choose an incident involving Jesus or a teaching of Jesus and demonstrate how it is built upon Old Testament Covenant thinking and furthers that thinking to new situations. An incident involving Jesus is the parable of the lost son, or the prodigal son. The prodigal son is built upon Old Testament Covenant thinking (from Hosea 11) when Israel went away from God. “When Israel was a child,” I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. But the more they were called, the more they went away from me. This event of Jesus demonstrates how consequences lead to return, and return leads to restoration. In today’s situation, the principle behind this incident still applies when you send your son/daughter to college, pay tuition and support him/her. You want your kid to be successful and ready to go out in the real world after earning a college degree. Since the prodigal son incident involving Jesus still applies
The first message is going to talk about the new generation. The reason I choose this one was because in the very beginning it talks about how are generation lacks caring. It also talks about Modern people are like scarecrow and they just sit there quietly. In the text
Time and events as we know have been tracked by B.C. (before Christ) and A.D. (in the year of our Lord). In the Old Testament, prophecies point to the coming of Jesus Christ. In the New Testament, Jesus came to earth, died and rose again. There are many questions to be answered about Jesus. Who is He? What did he do while he was alive? What was Jesus called? The answers to these questions are very clear.
