Even he looked comfortable during his speech but shown emotion and motivate his feeling and mindset. He’s language style gives some types of inclusiveness to the audience, for example, he used “we” and “our”. He shown that the speaker and the people are not different, and that make them start to admire him. His emotion and attitude of his speech helped motivate and persuade the audience He loves to include personal stories and experience in his speech and relate them together. His technique empowers him to connect with the audience. He used rhetorical technique to make it easier, for example he repeated the first word or phrase in one sentence at the beginning of several sentences. He used contrast ideas in his speech,
can get the people listening to feel what he is feeling. By doing this the audience would adapt to
He was able to relate and convince his audience with his strong sound argument. He knew what the people wanted to hear and how to present it. He took the time to study what he believed the American public wanted and how to talk to them in order to get them on his side. He was able to bring in ethos, pathos, logos, parallelism, and antithesis to have a successful persuasive speech. This is a mark of an extraordinary speaker and in his case a politician who was able to persuade the American people to trust in his beliefs and
The techniques he uses to accomplish this are told in a story-like fashion, drawing the reader into the events. He uses powerful descriptions of what he calls his victims. Even his use of the word victim to describe the passersby on the street adds to the colorful and expressive style he uses to tell his story.
He used a story telling atmosphere to his speech and made the atmosphere feel like we were two old friends talking around the fireplace. His delivery was solid and I did not feel that any part was distracting. The tone of voice and rate were very conversational and he used his hands to aid in the story. He did not use his hands too little or too much. Rob walked around the circle telling his story and moved aside to show us his pictures.
He had a special talent that allowed him to arrange words in a dignified yet compassionate manner. Which is why his significant use of anaphora throughout his speech was carefully arranged to make his message to the South African people as profound as possible.
His stories kept me interested since his speech begins with his real life and true story, and I kept curious what would be the second and third story. He ends with the great quotes to inspire the audience. First
Obama appeals to the audience's emotions by referring to getting his daughters a new puppy and how he loves his wife. He asserts his authority by using repetitions and allusions. Finally he establishes his reasoning by explaining to the people what he will do for them what other presidents
Throughout the speech, the speaker’s delivery had a varied of things. Some of those things that I found appealing included his hand gestures because that showed that was an important point and along with hand/body gestures, his facial expression showed that he really cared about the topic he was speaking about. This is something I think is very important for a speaker to have because if the audience can tell that you don’t care about your topic then they are not going to care either.
I must admit that when I originally heard the topic of the speaker's speech, I was not very responsive to it. But, when the speaker began his presentation, he clearly established the intent of his presentation and his speech became quite intriguing. The speaker had knowledge and understanding about his topic. In addition, the speaker was able to articulate a well organized speech; therefore, it was easy to follow and I completely understood it. \
However, the second story lets the audience to truly measure their success. He brings pathos from the audience in two separate ways. First, he explains about the trouble with his Macintosh. How he got fired form the apple. Which made audience more attractive towards listening to the speech. He connects his speech towards emotions by telling stories of his wife.
The content of the speech that she has deliver was good, because there was visual aids that back up her claim in the speech which was about the taking the lunch to the other and she has organized this speech in unique way. The organization was clear up to go because the delivering she was comfortable and this made the presenter more focused on the talk. She might have some stress but the introduction went on attract the audience that made them want to listen to the presenter and she made on the target which help her to give and persuade the audience in remarkable way.
I feel like he was a very blunt, yet smooth, and charismatic speaker. The way he answered the questions to Lord Jing, Ji Kangzi, Zigong, and Zilu made me not only believe that he knew what he was doing and talking about, but also confident in his path/quest of life and truly supported and felt deeply about the things he was preaching.
play in his opening speech. He sets the story that he is going to tell
He uses different tones according to his purpose to peruse the audience, for instance a harsh tone is used to present his point forcefully and effectively. For example, referring to Security Council, Bhutto says, “The Security Council has failed miserably, shamefully…You need a chief executioner”(2). A sarcastic tone is used for questioning the credibility of Security Council. “The great powers will forgive me…..the super powers have imposed their super will for the moment” (4).He then goes on to use an ironic tone considering permanent representative of the Soviet Union, adding, “The permanent representative of the soviet union talked about realities… Well, I am not because my heart is bleeding” (5).Furthermore, he uses authoritative tone and in this way builds the ethos. Words such as “I” and “must” are used several times during his speech, in order to show he has the authority to give commands. Moreover, Bhutto creates pathos by making strong emotional appeals for example, “My countrymen, my people, are dying”(1) as well as “Yesterday my 11 year son telephoned me…legalization of aggression”(1).Bhutto’s effective use of persuasive strategies during the speech enables him to present his point of view exceptionally
